National Award winner, director Praveen Sattaru’s recent film ‘Garuda Vega’ took everyone by surprise. The film gave Hero Rajasekhar a big break in the Telugu Film Industry after a long time. The initial budget of the film was thought to be Rs. 10 crores. As the film went into production the budget gradually increased. The film was produced on a budget of Rs. 25 crores. Many trade analysts and film critics expressed that ‘Garuda Vega’ would be a suicidal film for Jeevitha and Rajasekhar after it was produced on 25 crores. But shocking everyone, the film not only recovered its investment but also ended with good profits.

The recent news is that Praveen Sattaru is all set to direct a new film. This would a multi-starrer film with 3 heroes. The director received the nod from hero Nithin and Rana after he approached them with a unique script. It was even heard that the two heroes were thrilled after hearing the script. The third hero in the film is likely to be Nara Rohit, who has always led the path for ‘multi-starrer’ and ‘experimental films’. Bollywood Actor Arjun Kapoor was reportedly slapped by his fan. The incident took place at a shooting spot. Arjun Kapoor is currently shooting for his film ‘Sandeep Aur Pinky Faraar’. He reached the shooting location in Pithoragarh district in the state of Uttarakhand.

A car driver came to the shooting location in a car. He approached Arjun Kapoor with an intent to shake hand. After he got closer to Arjun Kapoor he started attacking him. The private security and police at the shooting location immediately took the car driver into custody.

He was found to be under the influence of alcohol. The car driver was identified as Kamal Kumar. The police fined Kamal Kumar Rs. 500 for driving a vehicle under the influence of alcohol. They also stated that Kamal Kumar’s license would be cancelled.

Interestingly, no case has been registered against the drunkard driver for attacking Arjun Kapoor at the shooting location. No wonder heroes are only heroes on screen!

Pawan Kalyan starrer ‘Agnathavasi’ is slated to release on January 10th. The film is one of the biggest releases for 2018 Sankranti. Pawan Kalyan’s shoot for the film is completed. Two Telugu films are slated to release for the Christmas. Nani’s ‘MCA – Middle-Class Abbayi’ and Akkineni Akhil’s ‘Hello’ will be released on successive dates. MCA will be released on 21st December, while Hello will release on 22nd December. There are high expectations on both the films. Producers, Dil Raju (MCA) and Akkineni Nagarjuna (Hello) are making preparations to release their respective films on a large scale.

Though Nagarjuna tried his best to ensure MCA’s release is postponed. But Dil Raju was determined to launch MCA for Christmas. Trade analysts are predicting that the release of these two films would affect the collections. Akhil’s ‘Hello’ is likely to be more affected.

‘Nani is on a spree of successive hits. And MCA surely looks promising and will be another super hit for the hero. This is one of the main reason why Nagarjuna tried his best to ensure Hello a solo release. But Nagarjuna is still hoping that ‘Hello’ would be a good hit at the box office given 8-holidays and availability of multiplexes. He even referred the release of multiple films for Sankranti as an example to support his viewpoint,’ told a close source to the production house.

Only time can tell whether Nani ‘MCA’ can affect Akhil ‘Hello’ collections or not.

The scion of the Mysuru royal family Sri Yaduveer Krishnadatta Chama Raja Wadiyar was celebrating last night as his wife, Trishika Devi delivered a healthy baby boy late on Wednesday night at Cloud nine Hospital here in the city, becoming the 28th in the Wadiyar lineage.

The baby boy was healthy and weighed around 3kg at the time of birth and hospital sources confirm that both the mother and baby are doing fine. Mysuru Palace and the people of old Mysuru region that have strong links to the former royal family welcomed the new heir to the Wadiyar tree with quiet celebrations in the palace.

But the royal family has made requests to the hospital not to divulge details about the baby since they would be making an official statement on Thursday.

The 26th scion Srikantadatta Narsimharaja Wadiyar, who died in 2012 had no issue, Yaduveer Gopal Raj Urs, grandson of Mr. Wadiyar’s eldest sister Maharajakumari Gayathri Devi avaru and son of Tripura Sundari Devi and Swarup Anand Gopal Raj Urs, was officially adopted by Maharani Pramoda Devi Wadiyar in 2015. Subsequent to the adoption, he was renamed as Sri Yaduveer Krishnadatta Chama Raja Wadiyar. On 28th May 2015, Yaduveer was officially anointed as 27th Maharaja of the 600-year-old Wadiyar dynasty.

Last year Yaduveer got married to Trishikamuri daughter of Harshavardhan Singh and Rajkumari Maheshree Kumari of Rajkot royal family, on June 27.

Dana Mahji, from Orissa, made headlines after his pictures carrying his wife’s dead body went viral in August 2016. People from all around the world were moved seeing his pitiful condition. The made had carried the dead body of his wife, who died of Tuberculosis on his shoulder for over 10 km.

Russia blamed US intelligence for seeking to recruit Russian journalists working in the country on Wednesday after Washington and Moscow passed laws tagging each other’s media as “foreign agents”.

Russia’s foreign affairs spokeswoman Maria Zakharova was quoted by the Interfax agency as saying, that in the recent Russian journalists, including those residing in the US, have come under tremendous pressure from the special services, notably through attempts at recruitment.

The allegations surprisingly came the same day Russian lawmakers voted to ban US media, labelled it as ‘foreign agents’ rejecting an access to the lower house of parliament in reply to the US Congress stripping state channel RT of its authorizations.

Around 20 American media outlets recognized to work in Russia, according to the website of the foreign ministry that keeps the register and issues documents to journalists. Earthquake Jolts Uttarakhand

An earthquake of moderate intensity jolted Uttarakhand on Wednesday night with tremors being experienced as far as Delhi. The epicentre of the magnitude 5.5 earthquake was at Rudraprayag district, and its effects were also felt in connecting districts like US Nagar.

Director of the Dehradun Meteorological centre, Bikram Singh told, the impact and depth were up to 30kms and the epicentre was reported at 30.4 latitudes north and 79.1 latitude east in which Rudraprayag district falls, 121 kilometres east of Dehradun.

Officially no immediate reports of any injury or any destruction in parts of Delhi-NCR. Singh also stated the magnitude of the quake is moderate, there should be no damage to people or property. The quake occurred at around 8:45 pm.Earthquake Jolts Uttarakhand 

People though evacuated buildings in Moradabad as well, as a precautionary measure where tremors were felt. Even Haryana state also felt the tremors, reports suggested.

Panicked people rushed out of their homes in panic, even in Delhi- National Capital Region when they felt tremors. Some reports stated, that high rise buildings swayed and shook as tremors struck.

Many people shared their experiences on the social media platform, Twitter about the quake, some expressed their fears, some shared the order, as and where it took place.

He told the attendees, “I will put forward my candidacy for the post of president of the Russian Federation”. He further added that he cannot think of a better place and timing and a better moment to announce his candidacy.

He thanked all for their work, for their attitude towards jobs, your factory, your city, and of course your country! I’m sure that together we will succeed.

This piece of news that Putin intends to become President for another six years is no surprise or shocker to Russians, not to those observing the election abroad. Putin is glorified as nation’s father figure who has reinstated national pride and expanded Moscow’s global influence with interventions in Syria and Ukraine. Wal-Mart is all set to change its legal name to Walmart on February 1. It was known as Wal- Mart Inc. when it was incorporated in 1969. Later it was changed to Wal-Mart Stores Inc. the very next year when it went into public.

Is there something in the name?  For Wal- Mart Stores Inc., it has got nothing to do with the name. They said it’s not, what’s not in the name that counts. The twist reflects on how customers normally refer to the company and support its objective to serve customers both in physical and online stores.

Now you may ask “why in the first place a change of name? It is due to growing popularity as a retailer who serves customers no matter how they choose to shop,” chief executive officer Doug McMillon said in a blog post on the company’s website.

“I guess all our customers including me refer to our company as Walmart”. He sought the position of the company as an E-Commerce powerhouse and a rival to Amazon.com Inc., by acquiring web retailers like Jet.com and Bonobos, providing a two-day free delivery, and hiring Ivy Leaguers to help run its internet operations.  It also plans to team up with Google on voice-activated shopping. This push has paved to online sales hike of at least fifty percent in the US.

Russia Air Strikes East Syria: 21 Civilians Killed

Russian air strikes killed almost 21 civilians here on early Wednesday in a village which was held by the Islamic State group near to the Euphrates River in eastern Syria, reports claim.

The bombing raids hit the village of Al-Jerzi on the eastern bank of the river, which cuts across DeirEzzor Province according to the Syrian Observatory for Human Rights.

Out of the 21 civilians, 9 were children, as early as Wednesday morning in Russian air strikes targeted residential buildings in Al- Jerzi, the head of the Observatory Rami Abdel Rahman told.

There is a Britain based monitor that relies on a network of sources inside Syria says it determines whose planes carry out raids based on the type, flight patterns, location, and munitions used. It says the IS, is ousted from all eight percent of the oil-rich region, who used to control tracks of DeirEzzor province.

The jihadists have lost massive swathes of it to separate offensives by Russian- backed Syrian troops and also an alliance known as Syrian Democratic Forces. Till date, the SDF had been backed by the US-led coalition bombing of IS in Iraq and Syria, but in its latest development, they said to have received support from Moscow.

Russian warplanes had given air cover to the Kurdish People’s Protection Units as they fought against Jihadists in DeirEzzor, according to Moscow defense ministry.

To know a little bit about Siang River, it is basically a constituent river of the Brahmaputra, which starts its course from Tibet, where it is called the Yarlung Tsangpo and travels down to Arunachal Pradesh from where it flows to Assam and comes across to be known as the Brahmaputra. It flows from a 1600km stretch in southern Tibet before entering India.

He is a star producer, and a major film distributor and he is known as Dil Raju. He is currently on a success spree at the box office almost all the year. The producer, we can say is riding high with his back to back hits, but he also had seen some flops in films like Spyder and Om Namo Venkatesaya and few others.

Looks like the producer is learning his lessons pretty fast and he is already implementing them. He realized that small budget movies are always a safe bet for him. Latest buzz going on in film circles is that he has bought the AP and Telangana distribution rights of his upcoming films in line for release, ‘Toliprema’ and ‘Krishnarjuna Yuddham’ for a very profitable price which already brought a table profit for the original producers.

Varun Tej Toliprema movie, is set to release in the month of February, whose rights were reportedly bagged for Rs. 18 crore rupees, while Nani’s Krishnaarjuna Yuddham rights were bagged for Rs. 23 crores and the movie is expected to release before summer next year. Hope Dil Raju passes in his luck test with these two young versatile actors.

The actor-turned-politician is currently heading the Patna Sahib Constituency (in Patna, Bihar) representing the BJP party in Lok Sabha.

The film is directed by Sanjay Leela Bhansali, with Deepika Padukone playing the lead role of Rani Padmini (Queen Padmini) in the film. The message went viral and was shared more than million times on WhatsApp and other social networking platforms. The post became so viral that, it also caught the attention of Telangana IT Minister K T Rama Rao and Hyderabad Metro MD SVN Reddy.
