A 36-year-old woman and an 11-year-old minor girl were rescued after being locked in a room for over 5 years. This incident took place in West Bengal. The woman and the minor girl were identified as Manju and Tota. It’s the husband, Manobendra who has kept the both inside that room for so long.

According to one of the relative, ‘whenever we knocked the door, a woman replied claiming to be Manju. She threatened she would commit suicide if we did not leave.’

An IAS aspirant, a 19-year-old woman was brutally raped by four men in the city of Bhopal. The woman usually takes a train from the Habibganj Railways station. On the day of the incident, the woman chose to take a shortcut. While she was walking, one of the accused Golu Bihari grabbed and dragged her into the nearby deserted culvert. Golu along with Amar Bhuntu (his brother-in-law) raped the woman.

As she tried to resist and attack rapists, she was hit, tied to a tree and was raped. After the incident, leaving Amar at the place, Golu was left to get tobacco and cigars. The woman said that she asked Golu for clothes, as her clothes were torn.

‘Golu did come with clothes, but two more men came along with him. They raped me in turns, while others were taking Gutka and cigarette breaks. They took away my earrings, phone and watch. I was raped until 10 pm and was left. I managed to reach the nearby police station and called my parents’, said the young woman.

The police initially refused to take the complaint but were forced later. The parents and relatives of the young woman managed to catch hold of Golu and Amar who were roaming near the area where rape was committed. After they were handed to the police, the police filed the case.

More than 15 police officials are suspended by the government after an uproar over the incident has led to protests and outrage in Bhopal.

The recent film ‘Vunnadhi Okkate Zindagi’ touched many youngsters. The film is loosely based on the character of a young guy and how he faces life during the transformation from childhood to post-educational. The director Kishore Tirumala managed to create the magic with Ram’s splendid screen presence.

On the contrary, the film is on the verge of being declared as a ‘Flop’, given its below-par run at the box office. With the initial positive talk, trade analysts expected that the film would collect 20 Crores in its first week and will be a good profitable venture for the producer and distributors.

But the reality seems far different. According to official sources, the film managed to only collect hardly 12 crores in its first week. Few distributors claimed that the film did not even reach the break-even point. Though youth are encouraging the film, the family audience who are vital for the 2nd and 3rd-week collections are moving towards Ravi Teja’s ‘Raja the Great’, which has already collected 55 Crores gross.

But RGV thrashed all those speculations stating that his film with Nagarjuna is nowhere related to Siva, and is a far different film from what he had previously directed. ‘My upcoming film with Nagarjuna belongs to action-genre. The film is tailored to suit Nagarjuna’s body language,’ said RGV.

‘Next Nuvve’ Film Review

Starring: Aadi, Vaibhavi Shandilya, Rashmi Gautam, Brahmaji

‘Next Nuvve’ released amid high expectation. The film marks the entry of V4 banner that was created by Geetha Arts, UV Creation and Studio Green production houses together.

The film introduces small screen actor Prabhakar as director. Aadhi is playing the male lead role while Vaibhavi Shandilya is the heroine. The film also features Brahmaji, Reshmi, Ravibabu and Jayaprakash Reddy in key roles

Kiran (Aadhi) is an aspiring TV serial actor. He gets into a relationship with Vaibhavi Shandilya, and they both fall in love. The typical hardships faced by Kiran restrict them from living their life to the fullest. Meanwhile, Kiran is continuously threatened by Jayaprakash Reddy for failing to repay the loans.

Kiran comes to know that, his father has an ancestral property (an old building). He plans to renovate the old building into a hotel, hoping that he can clear all his debts. He obtains money from Jayaprakash Reddy’s son for the renovation work.

With the hotel being established, Kiran and Vaibhavi hope for a better life. Kiran, Vaibhavi, Sarath (Brahmaji) and Sarath’s sister (Reshmi) enter the hotel. With time, guests staying in the hotel start dying one after another. This leaves Kiran and his friends in shock, and what follows next is the story of the film.

Analysis:

The director clearly lacks grip on the script and the subject. The director tried to instill the fear showing mysterious deaths as the backdrop. If that’s the case, the choice of the director to convey the ‘mysterious deaths’ on a comical note is highly dubious. The routine comedy is another blow to the film. The film reminds the audience that they are watching a ‘horror’ film with added comedy scenes in between. 

The whole story leads to a flashback and a climax. One will be disappointed hoping for a good climax. The flashback and climax scenes clearly fade out because of poor storytelling. Overall the film can be treated as another ‘routine horror comedy’ that lacked the content. Shakeela plays a small and a prominent role in the film.

The only breather is Reshmi, who will raise the heartbeat of the audience in her own way. Brahmaji and Ravibabu are successful in creating an entertaining comedy track. While the heroine does look good, Aadhi has shown considerable improvement in his acting. The high production values in the film clearly illustrate the class of the future films under V4. The Director in his first directorial venture clearly disappointed and needs to do some serious homework for his next film.

‘Hindu terror does exist, they indulge only in violence these days´ was quoted Kamal Hassan in his weekly column to Ananda Vikatan, a weekly Tamil magazine that was founded in 1926. Looking keenly at the actor’s references quoted in the weekly daily few things need to be accepted knowing that we are human beings, and we do have our ‘inner self’ that is much righteous and follows dharma than our ‘conscious’ mind. Following are the lines quoted by Kamal Hassan:

‘Hindus used to indulge in an intellectual debate with other religious groups in the past. But in recent times, we have seen Hindus too indulging in muscle power, just like other religious groups. Call it a failure of intellectual debate or whatever. Hindus cannot challenge others to show extremists in them, as the extremism has spread to an even extent in Hindus too’

This article is not those who take side losing their rational mind. If you are one among them, Film news is readily available to be served. We are talking about people who are more unbiased, impartial and non-aligned.

I am not trying to say that Kamal Hassan was right, indeed I’m trying to implicate the fact that we are socially blind in perceiving the reality around us. Maybe Kamal may not have worried about the society until he stepped into his 50’s! Or he just did not open! Or whatever it could be! I don’t take sides, nor assumptions. A clear mind is required to see through the society, just like a clear distilled water.

If you’re living in India, you are bound to accept the Indian constitution whether you like it or not. You are bound to abide the rules and regulations of the society you’re living in. But nowhere have they mentioned the word ‘politics or policies’. The political parties existing today are nothing short of ‘terrorist’ groups. Excluding a few regional parties, most of the political parties are either based on religion, caste or race (1st X – Religion, 2nd X – Caste, 3rd X – Race, now get your mind right)

Aren’t we meeting all kinds of people every day? Do we question our doctors who serve, the police who protects, and the teacher who teaches our kid, their religion? Their caste? Their race? No, definitely not. Aren’t we all using ‘INR’ equally? Does the value of the currency changes when a person from a particular religion/caste/race use it? Definitely not.

The No’s you need to Know!

Did we anytime hear any politician ever referring a particular religion/caste/race voters not to vote for him/her? Did they? Nope! They never did and they never will.

Then why do they spread hate speeches after they get elected?
Then why do they provoke innocent youngsters to create havoc and terror in cities and villages in support of them?
Then why do they employee people irrespective of religion/caste/race under them, to serve them at all times?

Will any politician get a chance to choose their gunman of their religion/caste/race? No.
Will the President and Prime Minister ever get to choose a car driver of their religion? No. Will the constitution ever stop anyone becoming the President or Prime Minister citing a religion/caste/race as the reason? No.

Many consider themselves as intellectuals, and interestingly for a reason, they seem that way. That includes my dog too. My dog also considers himself highly intellectual. He shoos away anyone who comes near him while having his bread. He does it intellectually by shouting.Few politicians too consider themselves as intellect. They use their intellect to an extent, where the top-rated pimp in the city becomes their political strategist, the most wanted gangster turns out to be his brother, while a fraudulent religious leader becomes his ‘guru’.

But why do people turn towards these politicians? Again it comes to the notion of ‘personal gains’, a topic which can lead to endless hours of discussions. We discuss how much an Ex-minister has looted, how many hundreds of acres of land was encroached by CM’s close relatives and how many thousands of hectares of illegal mining went under a government’s tenure. For a fact, we forget ourselves that we are at the receiving end. We are not the source of the above acts, but the sufferers. If not our generations, the future generations will suffer.

Similarly, at the time of the elections, votes become captives for political leaders by taking thousands of rupees to vote for them. Their dignity, respect, and their right to question is now purchased by the ‘politician’. People are to be blamed for electing the leaders. And these leaders wait for opportunities to create a rift among the people who unitedly elected them.

British managed to conquer India greatly because of their ‘Divide and Rule’ policy. It’s the same policy that is being used by our so-called ‘political leaders’. If the British were forced to leave India (it’s highly debatable. Factually speaking, it was the Britishers who chose to leave India owing to reasons related to WWII), then what should be done to these political leaders, the traitors of this motherland?

The attachment of Terrorism to a particular religion/caste/race is only done for a political gain in most of the cases. These politicians across the globe promote extremist activities to create instability in the opponent’s camp and try to make their opponent guilty for the rise of extremism and terrorism.

Conclusion:

Many of you might have a similar or different opinion. My idea was never to identify an individual or a party or anything like such. I always believed that, the invasion of certain parts of India even in the 200 BC and before was greatly due to lack of political co-operation between kings at that time, and the invasion of India by corrupt political forces, extremist groups, terrorist groups and any other entities involving violence (at all levels) is because of ‘lack of true, honest and transparent’ politics in India.

India is the land where laws are there to protect the criminal, and Politics are there to facilitate the criminals who do such activities!

Cops say the Japanese killer Takahiro Shirashi reportedly admitted to killing nine people since August. Police found in his apartment, multiple severed heads and bodies.

The suspect, a 27-year-old, serial killer who apparently found all his victims, via Twitter, reports the local paper. Japanese authorities arrested Takahiro Shirashi, who lives about 25 miles outside Tokyo, supposedly admitted to investigating officers that he killed nine people since August after police disclosed several heads and the bodies of eight women and one man inside his apartment.

In a grisly tale, Shirashi reportedly used Twitter to find women who’d expressed suicidal thoughts over the service, murdering and beheading them. He also accepted to have sexually assaulted some of the women who he murdered.All the victims are women, except alone male who was a boyfriend to one of the victims who unfortunately happened to visit Shirashi’s apartment to look for his girlfriend.

Police could only encounter him while investigating the disappearance of a 23-year-old woman who was reported missing by her brother on 24th October. The women victim was last seen in CCTV footage at a train station. This lead to more clues.Neighbors found him as cheerful but a creepy person. Japan has third highest suicide rate among developed nations.

PSV Garuda Vega 126.18M Review!

The much-awaited long-time film, PSV Garuda Vega is truly rocking the theatres. The action thriller that has high-octane action sequences and adventure elements, could well be the beginning of Rajasekhar’s second innings in Tollywood. Produced on a staggering budget of 25 Crores (considering Rajasekhar’s previous film budgets), Garuda Vega has rich production values complemented with engaging screenplay and direction.

Story:

Rajasekhar plays the role of an honest NIA (National Investigation Agency) agent in the film. His commitment towards his professions badly impacts his marital life with his wife Swathi, played by Pooja Kumar. Swathi is often seen complaining about the lack of quality time the couple has been spending together.

During this time, Sekhar (Rajasekhar) is handed over a critical case. Initially, the case is said to be related to a bomb explosion when it reaches Sekhar. But with the ongoing investigation, Sekhar comes across the various chain of events that completely shadow of what was reported to him. He finds that there is a whole chain of mafic and terrorist networks linked to that ‘simple’ bomb explosion. From there, the story is all about how Sekhar was able to resolve such a complicated case, and how was he able to cope up with his marital life parallelly.

Analysis:

Though the storyline appears to be wafer thin, the way it was narrated speaks volumes about the director. The screenplay and cinematography were handled, surely leaves the audience awestruck. Right from the first action episode in Darjeeling and until the last action picturized around Charminar before the interval, Telugu audience will be spellbound, witnessing actions sequences never heard and seen in Telugu Film Industry. By the time the second half picks up its pace, the central plot of Garuda Vega is revealed, and the audience experiences a ‘random story’ for the most part. But the director, Praveen Sattaru manages to clinch the audience heartbeat with the last 20 minutes of the film. The pre-climax and climax sequences are going to be testimonials of the hard work the director and the hero have put in.

Director’snarration and screenplay complimentRajasekhar’s ‘Angry Youngman’ image on the screen. Garuda Vega surely marks the grand entry of Rajasekhar into Telugu Film Industry. Rajasekhar with his action sequences takes us back 25 years into history.He has done what all he could possibly do. Pooja Kumar, Shraddha Das, Ali, Posani Krishna Murali and others have played their roles pretty. Srinivas Raju’s decision to produce the film with Rajasekhar as hero and Praveen Sattaru as a director is clearly a gutsy move.
