YSR Congress Official Spokesperson Ambati Rambabu allegate, CM Chandrababu Naidu is behind the Tantric Poojas that had been performed in Vijayawada Kanaka Durga Temple for the promotion of IT Minister Nara Lokesh as Chief Minister. There are attempts made to throw the blame on officials after getting caught red-handed, he says.

Ambati criticized Chandrababu Naidu for the GO passed to prevent New Year Poojas in Temples. ‘Poojas haven’t been performed in the temples across the state, while CM and his family received special blessings from Veda Pundits’, he said.

Ambati asked whether AP CM has lost his mind for extending timings for wine shops on the eve of New Year. He questioned him, if he has lost his mind and why people should vote for Telugu Desam Party? Is it for making 600 false promises or completing Polavaram? Naidu is just wasting crores of rupees with Industrial and Entrepreneurship Summits. While there is hard that AP gained.

Meanwhile, Chief Priest in Vijayawada Durga Temple, Badrinath Condemned the speculations of Tantric Poojas. ‘Such poojas don’t happen when Sri Chakram is in the temple. I had even written a letter to Temple EO in regard to this matter. We cleaned the Garbha Gudi to ensure there are no insects. The help of Viswanadhapalli Temple Priest Raja was sought for it,’ he clarified.

‘Ghazal Srinivas’ a famous Ghazal singer, and who holds a Guinness Record holder for singing Ghazals in the most number of languages, has been arrested on charges of ‘sexual assault’ today morning. The police arrested Srinivas after a woman complained about the singer on the charges of ‘asking sexual favours’ and forcing her to do a body massage.

Speaking to the media representatives, ‘Ghazal’ Srinivas claimed that he is being framed and he hasn’t done anything wrong. ‘I met with an accident recently. My physiotherapist did not come today. The woman who complained against me offered to do a massage. I was reluctant. I told her not required. But she insisted on doing massage. There is no foul play from my end’, said the singer.

But shockingly, the police have rubbished the singer’s claim. A police official involved with the case said, ‘whatever [Ghazal] Srinivas is claiming is absolutely nonsense and rubbish. When we arrest this kind of famous people, we take extreme caution. The woman submitted audio and video recordings. Only after examining and verifying them, we took Srinivas into custody.

Ghazal Srinivas also said that he has no ill intention of that woman even in his dreams. The woman has been working as a Radio Jockey in Srinivas’ own company.

Incidentally, Indian Navy pursued 750 acres from the AP Government to inaugurate a world-class museum in the Warship which is going to occupy an area of up to 20 acres with anchoring. The project’s cost estimates anywhere around Rs.1000 crore. In the first phase, Rs.300 crore will be sanctioned for this project. The services of the INS Viraat Warship is likely to be offering near yarada or Bhimili beach.

INS Viraat was first commissioned on May 12th, 1987 and later decommissioned by the Navy on July 23rd, 2016. With its reputation and historical importance, Governments of Goa and Maharashtra competed to bring the Warship to their states to make it a major tourist attraction. While Andhra Pradesh Government managed it quite well and emerged victorious to convince center in the end.

The Tamil Nadu politics changed for once and all with two recent incidents; TTV Dinakaran winning the RK Nagar by-election and Rajinikanth announcing his political entry. BJP has been trying its best to influence the Tamil Nadu state politics some way or the other.

After Rajinikanth stated that he would announce his political career, BJP’s Tamil Nadu state-head Tamilisai Soundararajan went a step ahead and stated that BJP and Rajinikanth might work together. Shockingly, BJP’s hopes were thrashed after Rajinikanth’s stated that his party would contest in all the 234 Tamil Nadu assembly seats.

Even in the past, BJP tried to gain political advantage by supporting Panneer Selvam as the CM, after the death of Jayalalitha. Later it BJP decided to leave AIADMK, and go with DMK after Sasikala was successful in making Palani Swamy Tamil Nadu CM.

On the occasion of New Year eve, this year, record sales of Alcohol worth Rs.230 crore has been sold out in the state of Andhra Pradesh. In AP state, the liquor outlets sell Rs.40 crore worth of alcohol, per day on an average. Bizarrely, on 31st alone, the sales have gone up to Rs.230 crore.

Liquor stock worth Rs. 468.29 crores, has been shifted from depots to shops from December 26th to 31st. There is a 12.96 percent increase to what it is in 2016. 50 percent of the stock that is shifted to shops from December 26th has been sold out by 31st itself.

The Beer sales have increased while liquor sales came down in comparison to the last year. In the year 2016, December, 10, 59,960 liquor cases and 3, 52,540 beer cases were sold out. In 2017, December, 9, 02,289 liquor cases and 4, 66,802 beer cases have been sold out.

Alone in Krishna and Guntur districts, a Rs.102.38 crore of Liquor got sold from Dec 26th to 31st. On 31st of December alone, around Rs.50 crore worth Alcohol has been sold out in Capital Region.

He did not stop at that, he demanded recognition for bringing Krishna Waters to Hyderabad which doesn’t even have power and water. ‘If you see the past, Hyderabad neither have electricity nor water. But when I approached World Bank, they told me that to supply one-liter water to Hyderabad will cost Rs.20. Successive Governments hadn’t even thought of it, but under my government, I spent Rs.1000 crore and brought Krishna Waters to Hyderabad within 8 months. That’s how I have transformed Hyderabad,’ said AP CM.

Regarding Polavaram Project, he pledged he won’t give up on the issue and informed that 73 percent of the works have been completed as of now.

Usually, the Vijayawada Kanaka Durga Temple closes at 9 pm in the night and reopens again in the morning. But recently, rumours surfaced that some pujas were going until 11 pmin the temple premises. The temple’s authorities immediately informed the AP State Police. As a part of the investigation, the police officials examined the CCTV footage of Vijayawada Kanaka Durga Temple.

Shockingly, they found an unidentified man. The authorities confirmed that the man was not among the priests who perform their daily duties in the temple. The unidentified person was seen along with a Senior and a junior priest on 26th December, at 11:00 pm. The police are investigating the case from the angle of ‘Tantric pujas’ being carried out in the temple.

Few sources claimed that the pujas were going on until 12:45 am past the midnight. It is known that the Temple authorities have given permission to two individuals for the cleansing of the temple. But a third person was also found in the CCTV footage. Insider sources claimed that the alleged pujas were being performed for a ‘famous’ personality, and without the permission of the permitted individuals, there is no way the unidentified person can enter the temple.

From the past few weeks, we have been reporting that the Hyderabad Metro Rail failed to impress the Hyderabadis. The same continues even this time. A metro train stopped at the Ameerpet Metro Station on 31st morning. Officials stated that a technical snag disrupted the train’s service. This disruption delayed trains in both the directions.

The Hyderabad Metro Officials immediately responded and the train was taken to the ‘safety parking lane’ at the Prakash Nagar station. The safety parking lane is a third track, that runs in between the two tracks. Post that, metro services resumed.

Shockingly, a report claimed that RTC buses reach the destination faster than the metro services. On an average, metro train takes around 52 minutes from Nagole to Ameerpet. To board the metro train, the commuters need to reach the metro station, wait for the train an pray to god that there would be no disruption of services. Meanwhile, the TSRTC buses cover the distance between Nagole and Ameerpet within 50 minutes. And moreover, the bus-fare is also less when compared to the metro fare.

Let us hope that metro delivers what is expected from it.

It is the first time that a dress code for teachers is proposed for government-run schools and colleges in MP. Surprisingly the teaching community has hailed the state government’s idea of striking dress code for them.

State higher education minister Deepak Joshi, on Saturday, directed that his government is planning to enforce a dress code for teachers to make them as well as the people conscious of the teacher’s special place in the society. Apart from this, they will also get their due recognition in the society, Joshi told the media.

Nirmala Deshpande, a teacher from state government-run high school in Bhopal, told the dress code will not bring us recognition in society but also give us a sense of responsibility. Opposition parties, however, see some ulterior motive with such a move by the state government.

“It is a diverting tactic by the Shivraj Singh Chouhan government to shift the attention of the people from the developing displeasure among the teachers and students over the lack of infrastructure, like the school buildings and sufficient teaching staff”, a spokesman of the opposition party said.  He also added that the government-run colleges have earlier also tried to impose a dress code for women faculty members prohibiting them from wearing western clothes such as jeans.

We all know it is no small thing to deliver a baby as it is painful and second birth for all mothers. But the 24-year-old Samarwati Devi, who hails from a village in the Dindori district of Madhya Pradesh, was eight months pregnant and her situation is even more dangerous. The woman was in a dismal situation as she was forced to deliver her baby in an open field after doctors at a hospital refused to admit her, saying the unborn baby had died in the womb.

Samarwati was taken to a local district government hospital at 3 am on Monday as she complained of severe pains and anxious of early delivery.

Pathetically, without even admitting the patient, the doctors declared the baby died in her womb due to stress. The horrifying behavior of the hospital staff did not end at that, Samarwati alleges that she was slapped by the nursed and denied admission to the hospital. She said they forced her to leave in the early morning hours in such pain.

Condemning the incident Chief Medical Officer of the government hospital, RK Mehra, said he is taking all the statements of the staff members present on that night. He said, the proper probe will be made and strict action will be taken who so ever is found guilty.

In an official statement released by the Foreign Office, it said, “Pakistan regrets the last minute postponement and non-issuance of visas by India” for the visit of 200 pilgrims who want to attend the Urs ritual (death anniversary) in New Delhi from January 1st to January 8th.

This decision taken by India will deprive all the Pakistan devotees a chance to participate in the ritual, which is of utmost significance, the statement also mentioned. The visit, however, happens to take place under the 1974 provisions act, between Pakistan- India Protocol on visits to Religious Shrines. It is a normal thing and considered an annual feature.

The statement said, it is unfortunate and runs opposite to the protocol made in 1974 and objects to people to people communication. It also said it looks to be violating the bilateral protocol, basic human right to religious freedom.

It is ironic that such an action happened on the occasion of Urs of Hazrat Nizamuddin Auliya who was considered as a symbol of bringing communities closer, the Foreign Office added.

Adding to it, Rajinikanth further said, ‘I want everyone in the villages to come out and contribute to the society. I am not worried about the result of my political career. It is all up to God. I am just a servant, to you, to every mother, to every sister, and to every brother. I’m here for you, my life is with you and will travel with you forever. Come! Let’s unite, Let’s make our state a better place!’

There were a lot of speculations prior to Rajinikanth’s announcement, stating that he will be teaming up with BJP, or may even come into politics. The latest announcement from Rajinikanth comes amidst speculations and doubts over his political entry.

Karnataka Minister is very likely to face disciplinary action for praising Telangana CM K Chandrasekhar Rao. The TRS leaders are very happy and welcomed it with a positive statement from a Minister of neighboring state, Telangana Congress leaders are venting out their anger, their own party leader for lauding the work of Arch- Rival.

While KCR laid the foundation stone for Golla- Kurma Welfare Buildings and Hostels. In a meeting organized on this occasion, Karnataka Transport Minister Revanna appreciated and praised Telangana Chief Minister for offering 24 hours power supply to the farmers. He further went on to praise that there is no CM like KCR who has stood as a role model and inspiration to the whole nation. The Minister thanked CM for the construction work of Golla- kurma Welfare Buildings and Hostels.

T-Congress Leaders complained to Telangana Party Incharge Khuntia against Revanna. Followed by the events, Khuntia recommended AICC Chief Rahul Gandhi, Karnataka CM Siddhiramaiah, and KC Venu Gopal to take disciplinary action against the Minister.
