A media person for a news channel cheated and took Rs. 21,000 for darshan and gave them Rs. 300 special entry darshan tickets. TTD vigilance filed a report on a media personnel at two- town police station in Tirumala on Saturday. On receiving a complaint from a pilgrim, Mr. Satish a few days ago, that he was cheated in Tirumala, TTD vigilance made an inquiry and found out that Gopi, a media correspondent for news channel cheated them and took an amount of Rs. 21,000 for Swamy darshan and gave them Rs. 300 special entry darshan tickets.

He did not stop his cheating at it, he also collected more than Rs.20, 000 for a room in Sannidhanam guest house, which has an actual tariff of Rs.7, 100. The vigilance wing officials told, a report was filed in Tirumala two town police station along with the evidence like CCTV footages, verification of bank accounts etc.

The cheater, a media guy also gained by Rs.14,000 earlier by collecting Rs. 1,000 from each pilgrim in the name of tickets at Tirumala Bus Stand. The vigilance officials informed that a criminal action will be taken against him by the Police.

 The trail is going to return on January 10th, 2018 as both defense and prosecution had finished their arguments on Thursday.  It is understood the Chief Magistrate Arbuthnot will pass the ruling within a timeframe. Home Secretary of UK will have to approve Mallya’s extradition order within 2 months if the Judge favors Indian Government. Both Indian Government and Indian will have a chance to appeal to the higher courts in the UK if the verdict in lower court is against them.

On 22nd September last year the late Chief Minister of Tamil Nadu, J Jayalalithaa was brought to Apollo Hospitals in a state of breathlessness. Reddy, a hospital official told. People who are around her were approved by her during treatment. She made a quick recovery from the treatment she received, told Apollo Hospitals Vice- Chairperson Preetha Reddy to a private Tamil Channel in New Delhi in a reply to a specific question.

Aadhaar Case extends deadline until March 31

The Apex Court on Friday agreed with the Centre’s Submissions and set the deadline of linking of Aadhaar card with the bank accounts, mobile numbers, and various other schemes as March 31st, 2018.

A five-judge constitutional bench headed by Chief Justice Dipak Misra said the final hearing on the petitions would begin from January 17 next year.  The court earlier had 22 cases tagged and they are to be heard by a smaller bench.

It is a big challenge to these cases, with many aspects of Aadhaar card, including the use of data collected under the Unique Identification Program.

But an Aadhaar holder opening a new bank account will have to furnish his Aadhaar card to the bank ordered on Friday. The extension of the deadline is only for non-Aadhaar holders opening new bank accounts. During the interim, they can furnish their Aadhaar enrollment application to the bank.

Andhra Pradesh Chief Minister Nara Chandrababu Naidu has set his focus on utilizing the water resources in the state, thanks to the success of Pattiseema project. With the neighboring states building dams over the Krishna river, it would be foolish for the state government to rely on Krishna waters in the near future. At the same time, most of the Godavari waters are being left out into the open sea.

Realizing these two aspects, and with the success of Pattiseema project, Chandrababu is coming up with a mega plan for the interlinking of rivers across the state at an affordable cost with the maximum outcome. In this context, the CM is carving out the project to diver the Godavari waters to Penna River in the near future.

Chandrababu has briefly gone through the studies about diverting the Godavari waters to Penna River. If this project come to light, Nellore district along with the four Rayalaseema districts would be benefited from the Penna waters.

If the Andhra Pradesh government can utilize 1/5th of the 1500 TMCs of Godavari waters [going to open sea] through this project, there would be no question of shortage of the water for agriculture and even industries in the distant future.

Soon after he was discharged from the hospital, where he was taking undergoing treatment for burns, Rajesh, the lover of Swati was taken into custody by Nagarkurnool Police. On Thursday he was arrested, Rajesh alias, Rajesh Ajjakolu, the co-accused in murdering of M Sudhakar Reddy on November 26.

The other accused Swati, who is the wife of the victim Sudhakar Reddy is also arrested four days ago by the police.

Rajesh and Swati were in a relationship and had plans to stay together. Shockingly, soon after he got discharged said that Swati played an important role in planning the murder of her husband Sudhakar Reddy. He told, he just wanted to elope with her, but it was she who insisted on killing her husband as she felt the children will not be able to stay without her. On November 26, after successfully killing Sudhakar Reddy, the couple bought a liter of petrol and poured it on a scarf and lit it with fire. He had lighted a stove in their house and kept his face over the flames, said Rajesh to the police.

The Nagarkurnool police official told that they will be producing Rajesh before a court and remind him. After taking him into our custody only, we can find out who played a vital role in the entire episode.

Ullah appeared before the court of US Magistrate Judge Katherine H Parker, through video. He is a Bangladeshi immigrant, who is accused of setting off a pipe bomb in the New York Subway system made his first court appearance on Thursday via video. He was in the hospital room where he is seen recovering from burns sustained in the blast.

Akayed Ullah, who is a 27-year-old Bangladeshi migrant is on a family visa since six years. He was presented with the charges laid by the federal prosecutors on Tuesday.

He was charged with supporting a terrorist organization, for using a weapon of mass destruction, destroying property by means of fire or explosives, and using the destructive device during an of violent crime.

If he is found guilty, he could land up to life imprisonment. Ullah remains in hospital due to serious burns from the pipe bomb that was strapped to his chest when it partially detonated on December 11, in a subway terminal near the New York Port Authority Bus Terminal.

He accepted that he carried out his alleged attack in the name of ISIS.  He also told authorities that he did it for an Islamic state. Authorities also questioned his wife who lives in Bangladesh. His attorney did not even appeal for bail. The next hearing is scheduled for January 13.

It could have derailed if the train had continued to run, in the worst possible scenario, said the transport officials. There were about 1000 passengers on board who were unhurt and they continued their journey on different trains. This would have made headlines as a serious incident for the iconic mode of transport.

The crew aboard a ‘Shinkansen’ bullet train noticed a burning smell and strange noises when it pulled out of a station in southern Japan on Monday.

The train was halted immediately for checks at Nagoya station in central Japan and inspectors discovered a crack in the chassis under one of the carriage as well as an oil leak.

They believed if the train had continued to run and notice this incident, things would have been different. Prime Minister of India, Narendra Modi, on Thursday dedicated to the nation, the naval submarine INS Kalavari in Mumbai. Modi, on this occasion, said Kalavari is an excellent example of “make in India” and it is surely going to boost the Navy’s strength. The word ‘Kalavari’ is given after the dreaded tiger shark, a deadly deep sea predator of the Indian Ocean.

The submarine underwent around 120 days of extensive sea trials and tests for various equipment, an official was quoted saying. By adding the vessel is expected to boost India’s maritime prowess. This is a diesel-electric attack submarine that has been built for the Indian Navy by the Mazagon Dock Shipbuilders Ltd. The total built cost of the project is Rs. 23,652 crore project -75 at Mazagon Docks in Mumbai. The force needs at least 18 conventional submarines. After the Revanth Reddy left the Telangana TDP party, everyone knew that the end of the Telugu Desam Party in Telangana was near. This opinion further strengthened after Uma Madhava Reddy left TDP and joined TRS. Amidst this environment, a TDP leader from Telangana launched a campaign demanding Bharat Ratna for the Legendary actor-cum-politicians, and former Chief Minister, Nandamuri Taraka Rama Rao.

Though this is hard to believe, a TDP leader named Kommineni Vikas has started the campaign. Kommineni Vikas is a die-hard fan of NTR. He tried for TDP MLA ticket from Serilingampally constituency couple of times in the past. He was disappointed by the TDP party. Irrespective of his political equation with the party, the leader has been in constant touch with the people in Kukatpally and Serilingampally areas.

This time Kommineni Vikas is going to the public with the demand for ‘Bharat Ratna’ to NTR. Interestingly, political analysts feel that this is a strategy in order to be in the limelight and secure a party ticket in 2019 elections. It is also understood that Vikas has been eyeing on the constituency seat from which A. Gandhi won on a TDP ticket and later joined TRS party. This once again proves the fact that NTR’s name is still influential in Telangana, though TDP has vanished.
