The mega family heroine, Konidela Niharika Happy Wedding finished its shooting. ‘Happy Wedding’ marks Niharika’s second film in Tollywood. She is seen alongside Sumanth Ashwin, son of producer MS Raju. While Lakshman Karya is directing the movie, UV Creations are producing it. 

Though there was no official announcement of the start of the movie, the makers made sure that they announced the movie upon its completion. Director Lakshman expressed that, ‘Happy Wedding’ is a sensitive and realistic film that will touch everyone’s soul, especially the youth. In fact, the movie’s first look and other promotional events will begin on February 14th, celebrating the Valentine’s Day.

Rockstar Devi Sri Prasad is composing the music for the film. Konidela Niharika who made debut with ‘Oka Manasu’ impressed the audience with her screen presence and acting. Though the film did not become a commercial hit, Niharika’s impact was evident in the film.

They don’t come in lavish cars or seen in rich apparels. While few detectives help the investigative agencies to solve cases, other make a living in their own ways.

Rajani Pandit is widely regarded as India’s 1st lady detective. Thane police arrested Rajani Pandit after they came to know that she is gathering call detail records from various cellular agencies unlawfully, and selling them for astronomical prices.

 ‘We nabbed four individuals who are trying to sell the Call Detail Records (CDR). It is clear that Rajani Pandit is behind this. Everyone involved in this Call Detail Records scam will be put in front of the law,’ said Thane Police.

What’s more surprising is, Tamil actress Trisha recently announced that she will be a part of a biopic film on Rajani Pandit, India’s 1st Lady Detective. Given the turn of events, Trisha might opt out of the film.

Meanwhile, Jaitley justified the Fiscal Deficit revision by stating that, it would allow the government to spend more on various welfare schemes. These measures are definitely not what the markets were looking for.

Sensex touched the 36,400 mark on Jan 29 at 1330hrs. After the budget sessions began, it slipped to 36,180 points on Feb 1st 1400hrs. Soon, it nosedived below 36,000 the same evening. It closed at 35,018 today. This shows how badly the markets were affected by the Arun Jaitley’s budget.

Meanwhile, the makers made their time to quash some rumors.Ever since the announcement of NTR biopic has made by the hero Nandamuri Balakrishna, there have been many speculations over the internet regarding lead cast. As Balayya himself is donning the character of his father NTR, rumors went haywire regarding the female leads. If we talk about NTR there are two women in his life. One is his demised wife Basavatarakam and the other is his second wife Lakshmi Parvathi. It was hugely speculated that the makers have approached talented Malayalam beauty Nithya Menon for the role of Basavatarakam. Not stopping there, some media houses and websites have declared this news as official.

Now the producer Sai Korrapati made it very clear that this news is completely false. He said that the core team of NTR biopic is still looking for a suitable actress but they didn’t contact Nithya Menon by any means. He also cleared that Nithya was not even on the list of suitable actresses for Basavatarakam’s role. On the same note, Sai asked all not to conclude anything based on the internet as the team will officially announce the lead casting. For now, the director Teja has done test shooting to cut a teaser only to release it on the day of NTR’s death anniversary.

Vishnu Induri and Sai Korrapati are jointly bankrolling this project. Balayya is presenting this flick along with playing the lead role. The movie will be out in the month of August or so but not earlier.

It’s been two days since the release of the Union Budget of 2018 and the people of A.P are still unable to digest it. More than the ruling party, the opposition is remaining silent only sending wrong feelers to the Telugu people.

The Chief Minister of A.P, Chandrababu Naidu expressed his disappointment already and so do his party MP’s and MLA’s. Being in alliance with the center, the TDP is at least raising its voice against the budget. But the opposition parties like YSRCP and budding party Janasena are not even caring this issue like it doesn’t even matter to them. Y.S Jagan being the Opposition leader has not addressed state’s problems regarding the Budget bill. Only a few of his party MLA’s sent some words just for the sake of their constituency people but in reality, YSRCP has quit questioning the center about this issue. This is a clear indication of Jagan’s master plan to get an alliance with BJP for the upcoming elections. He might have ordered his party leaders to remain silent such that BJP would be happy with it. This clearly shows Jagan is very much interested in Power, portfolios and designated posts rather than basic needs of the state. Despite remaining silent, Jagan is lobbying hard to meet Prime Minister Modi for personal and professional gains.

Also, the party Janasena is remaining silent. Its Chief Pawan Kalyan who claimed to be addressing problems of people is maintaining his mouth shut regarding the budget bill. Its high time for him to raise his voice against the center for the sake of Telugu people and his party. Otherwise, he will also be termed as a puppet of BJP and a seasoned politician. Hope some leader from the state of Andhra questions NDA regarding its promises to A.P and its capital or else the state will move five years back in development.

Meanwhile, Naga Shourya’s ‘Chalo’ took a promising start, and collected $93K during its premiers. While Ravi Teja’s ‘Touch Chesi Chudu’ premier’s collection stood at $80K. Even at the domestic market, Chalo outperformed Touch Chesi Chudu, on the lines of ‘budget and revenue’ ratio. Given the negative talk on Touch Chesi Chudu movie, the impact would surely be felt both at the domestic and overseas box office.

With the weakened to begin from today (in the US), the downtrends of Touch Chesi Chudu have already begun. Meanwhile, Chalo is faring decently, given its clean, light and fresh content.

After ‘Raja the Great’ and Touch Chesi Chudu failing at the overseas market, it will be interesting to see whether buyers (for overseas release) would come forward for Ravi Teja’s movies henceforth.

NTR is a household name in each and every home in the Telugu states. The legendary actor, politician and the founder of TDP party, NTR has served the society both in arts and politics. He is famous for his charismatic screen presence, and resemblance of Lord Krishna, Lord Rama and other mythological figures on the silver screen. The legendary actor soon stepped into politics and fought for the pride of the Telugu people. During the Indira Gandhi era, NTR is the only politician in India who fiercely stood against her. The NTR mania was so enormous that, he came to power in the 1983 January elections. Surprisingly, he entered politics on 29th March 1982.

‘I want the people of my state to be free from the corrupt and inept rule of the Congress, which has been governing from 1956,’ said NTR, when questioned about his decision to enter the politics.

As a tribute to NTR, the TDP government came up with a proposal of constructing a 108 feet statue of NTR. Correspondingly, a construction consultancy came up with 4 designs and is waiting for Chief Minister Chandrababu’s nod.

The 108 feet status of NTR was initially proposed to be constructed at Krishna river banks, overlooking the Core Capital. But later the construction site was moved to Neerukonda Hill, in the Neerukonda village. It looks like there is an ulterior motive in shifting the construction site too. The Neerukonda Village saw the infamous Neerukonda Massacre that involved Khammas and Malas (Dalit caste). The likes of NTR and CM Chandrababu belong to the Khamma community only.

We are sure the film will be commercially successful,’ said the director.

The 40 sec teaser shows Shakeela sitting in a bungalow. Completely dressed and two kids in her lap, we are bound to see something very surprising and exciting. Adding to it, the horror-themed BGM further takes the suspense element to the next level.

A recent incident that took place in Pakistan left everyone in shock. Going by the first-hand reports, a senior Pakistani Minister shot his wife and later committed suicide. The Sindh province in Pakistan turned out to be home for this blizzard incident. Mir Hazar Khan Bijrani, from the PPP (Pakistan People’s Party) and Minister for Urban Planning and Development, shot his journalist wife, Fariha Razzaq three rounds, and later shot himself with the same revolver in the couple’s residence in Karachi.

The police immediately rushed to the crime scene and completed the formalities. Karachi South Zone DIG confirmed the Minister shot his first before he committed suicide. Post the forensic lab reports, the authorities established the fact that the bullets are from the same gun.‘We took 6 people into our custody for investigation.

They all stated that the couple was often seen fighting form the past few weeks. Family issues could be one of the reason for his unfortunate incident to take place. Besides this, we are also looking for any foreign group’s involvement in this murder-and-suicide. On hearing the gunshot, the couple son, and helpers broke open the door, that was locked from inside,’ briefed a police officer handling this case.

With a clear mindset that, BJP wouldn’t have an alliance with TDP in 2019 AP Elections, the anti-Babu batch in BJP was celebrating their achievements of restricting Centre’s help to the state. In fact, their vengeance over Chandrababu is most important to them than the state’s development. 

The budget announccement left these anti-BABU politicians in shock. Given the budget allocations to AP, one should have guts to even take the name of BJP in the state. The anti-Babu camp which thought, can win some seats in AP by blaming poor governance under CBN and TDP, are now left in shock with the latest developments. Though they have a smile on their faces, the land beneath them is surely shaking!

Balakrishna Threatened By Nadhiya as Indira Gandhi in NTR Biopic

It was during the 1980’s. The whole nation is engulfed in Indira Gandhi’s charisma. Many hailed her as the most powerful woman in the history of India. While other termed her as ‘power hungry’ scavenger. Despite her humongous stature, it was NTR who stood in her way. The man of the masses, the man who took the pride of every Telugites to the New Delhi, Nandamuri Taraka Rama Rao, played a monumental role in setting up a third front at the center. During the 1984 political events in Andhra Pradesh, where NTR was backstabbed, everyone knew the mass following NTR commanded at that time. Consequently, people also know who was behind the Nadendla Bhaskar Rao episode. Neither the Congress nor Indira herself dared to own the episode.

But times have changed since then. Both the legendary leaders, NTR and Indira Gandhi are no more. But they will be brought back to life, thanks to Balakrishna’s ‘NTR’ biopic movie. The film unit is currently looking after yesteryear glamour queen Vijayashanti and Nadiya.

Close sources to the production unit revealed that the film unit is in a fix. As of now, director Teja is yet to come to a conclusion of how to project the character of Indira Gandhi in the movie. Will her character be pro-NTR? Or anti-NTR? Or neutral? Whatever it might be, upon the film’s release, controversies are bound to follow. NTR might have been standing tall against Indira Gandhi in real life, but on screen, it is turning out to be a herculean task for Teja.

Rape attempt on Malayalam heroine Sanusha in Train

Intolerance has been on a growing trend in India. Women in India are subjected to sexual harassment, irrespective of their age and region. A normal woman is usually the victims of sexually abused/harassed when compared to celebrities. But the recent incidents don’t hint that way. Recently, Tamil heroine Amala Paul has been sexually harassed at her workplace. Even before that incident is gone to dust, yet another case of sexual harassment on a heroine came to light.

Malayalam heroine Sanusha is the victim in the latest incident. Sanusha is famous for her role in the (dubbed) movie ‘Renigunta’. While the Malayalam actress was travelling in a train Kannur to Thiruvananthapuram, the actress has been sexually harassed. The incident took place while Sanusha was fast asleep. ‘I was asleep due to tiredness. A man tried to rape me. I immediately got alert, and complained to the TT’, said Sanusha. The case has been registered and the railway police are probing into the incident.

Meanwhile, social activists and many women welfare organizations came in support of the heroine. They called for improved security measures, especially for women in the trains. The Railway Police authorities have taken the case as a challenge, and are leaving no stone unturned to find the culprit.

The people of Andhra has pinned in a lot of hopes in the Union Budget which was disclosed by the Finance Minister Arun Jaitley yesterday.

It was clearly a huge let down for the people of Andhra and especially for the state which is a newborn. The TDP and its alliance party BJP has promised the state many things regarding the welfare and development. But if we look into the details deeply for the past few years, the words have spoken much more than the actions. Though the current budget has given its importance to the rural economy and agriculture, they have completely neglected the major issues of the state.

There is no word in the budget regarding the national project polavaram. And even the prime issues like Visakhapatnam Railway zone and funding of the state capital project Amravati has been ignored. Though the chief minister of the state Chandrababu Naidu has expressed his disappointment regarding the budget, it doesn’t do any good to the welfare of the people or the state.

What really matters now is the stand taken by the TDP supremo Chandrababu Naidu. Will he continue to be in friendly alliance with BJP even after letting down the state many times? Is the government in A.P more concerned about the people of the state or its alliance with BJP? It’s time for the government to let the people know about its course of action without dragging much time on cabinet meetings and all.

Keeping the ruling party aside for a moment, what is the opposition party doing when the state is in such a miserable situation? Its thirst for getting into power seems to be more important than the welfare of the people and state. Instead of making allegations on the ruling party and its chief all the time, why don’t the opposition party focus on the prime issues of the state and come up with a solution? From the time of bifurcation and the TDP getting into power, we have never seen both the ruling and opposition parties working together under one roof for the welfare of the people and the state. If such things happen, the sunrise state wouldn’t be in such a situation today.

The newly formed party Janasena which is also a part of the TDP-BJP alliance should also take the responsibility regarding this. We all know how much the PK factor has worked in the last elections. It’s Pawan’s responsibility to stand for the people now and fight for the rights of the state. Each political party in the state is going in each different way. Might be the thirst of getting into power for one party or sustaining their chair for another term to another party, it seems like no political party is seriously looking into the prime issues of the state rather than their personal benefits.

Politics is meant to serve the people. If all the political parties in A.P come together under one roof and fight for the rights or the benefits the state deserve, we would definitely achieve what we want.
