The Indian forces have successfully tested the Agni V missile from Balasore Test Range Centre, Odisha. Agni V has a range of 5000+km and is capable of carrying nuclear arsenal. The Agni V Missile unique feature comes with its mobility and precision. The launching system can be swiftly transported across the nation. Its deadly precision comes in handy while targeting bunkers and destroying ammunition of the enemy during war situations. This gives India the ability to strike the heart of China (with a nuke), if necessary.

Hyderabad has become famous for the cricket betting gangs since the last decade or so. The stakes involved in cricket betting in Hyderabad are so high, that they cross over Rs. 100+ crore per match during key international and IPL matches.

The police and other law enforcement agencies have cracked-down on various betting houses in the recent past. This latest crackdown, not only shocked the police officials but also raised serious questions to what extent the cricket betting mafic has sprawled across the nation.

The North Zone Taskforce Police arrested a gang that made Hyderabad as their hub for cricket betting activities. The police attacked the betting-houses in Narayanaguda, Abids, and Banjara Hills at once, and arrested 11 individuals linked to the cricket betting.

An amount of Rs. 45 lakh has been seized during the police raids. Voice recorders, cash counting machines, smartphones, laptops, TVs, and another betting-related equipment have also been seized. A case has been registered and a special investigation is in place. The police are hopeful that more information about other cricket betting gangs in Hyderabad will be out during the investigation.

KTR is heading a group of officials from Telangana and is busy touring various financial hubs and conglomerate companies in Japan, in a bid to bring investments to Telangana. During one of such a visit, KTR got to see the Suzuki Museum in Hamamatsu located in the Shizuoka prefecture (district), Japan. He was amazed and thrilled by exhibits in the Museum. But what stunned and shocked him was a portrait of Megastar Chiranjeevi in the museum.Yes, you read it right. KTR saw an exhibit of Megastar Chiranjeevi in the Suzuki Museum. After his tour, he shared his ‘fan moment’ via tweet. His tweet read:

‘Had a tour of the Suzuki Museum at Hamamatsu in Shizuoka prefecture. The tour was great but guess whose picture I get to see there? Our own Megastar Chiranjeevi garu. Felt nice to see someone from our motherland being recognized in a small town in Japan’.The tweet instantly became viral, and liked by over 3,800 and retweeted by more than 1,300 Twitteratis. No wonder, Chiranjeevi garu is called the ‘Megastar’.

If the same continues, temperatures in Oymyakon can hit -70C. the village inhabited by 500 locals. The lowest temperature on the earth is -94.7C, recorded in Antarctica, recorded by a NASA satellite in 2013.

Researchers and scientists are pointing the extreme drop on the temperature in Oymyakon as a sign of the beginning of a chain of catastrophic events in the coming future.

I feel Katthi Mahesh is doing the same. Initially, his comments were meaningful and sensible. But, they have become too boring and cliché.

I can appreciate Katthi Mahesh for his ability to justify his comments. Similarly, I appreciate Pawan Kalyan for not reacting to Katthi Mahesh’s comments. It is very common for people to irritate politicians and feed off from them.

Speaking about Janasena’s impact in 2019 AP Assembly elections, Janasena is a formidable force in AP. But it is too early to predict to what extent Pawan Kalyan and Janasena would succeed.

The current generation in India overlooks and disregards the rich culture and tradition that has been prevailing for over 1000s of years. We found the youth indulging in late night parties and pub-culture. Forget about celebrating Indian Hindu festivals, this generation doesn’t even know what they are, when they are. According to them, the best thing about Indian (Hindu) festivals is that they get a holiday; from school for students, and from office for employees.

Setting an example for everyone, and calling for global harmony and peace, the Canada Prime Minister Justin Trudeau celebrated ‘Sankranti’ in the same manner, as we celebrate in south India. The Canadian PM sported at traditional ‘Veshti’ and celebrated Sankranti, or Pongal (in Tamil Nadu).

He was seen celebrating the festival with Tamil Canadians in Toronto. He later shared the memorable pictures on his twitter. Justin Trudeau also wished everyone greetings in Tamil. His tweet read:

‘Iniya Thai Pongal Nalvazhthukkal! (Sweet Pongal Greetings). Had a great time celebrating Tamil Heritage Month and Thai Pongal in Scarborough this evening’.

Along with the PM, Mayor of Toronto, John Tory was also seen in traditional Veshti. The duo added their ‘novice’ expertise in preparing the traditional meal ‘Pongal’, celebrating the occasion.

It is during the last stage of the Telangana movement. A hostile situation was prevailing between KCR and then Congress MP Lagadapati Rajagopal. Both the leaders indulged in foul and insulting verbal spat against each other. After the special state of Telangana was formed, Lagadapati Rajagopal keeping his promise left politics for once and all.

Post that, a friendly environment prevailed between KCR and Lagadapati. More surprisingly, Lagadapati received agreat response, after he went to invite KCR for his son’s marriage.

According to internal political circles in AP and TS, KCR has reportedly sought a favour from Lagadapati. Undeniably, Lagadapati amassed great credibility in predicting election results, and outcomes. There were times where, pre-poll predictions have horribly gone wrong, but not Lagadapati predictions.

The Telangana Chief Minister is having a tough time in Telangana. The forecasts of various survey agencies, deployed by KCR & Team, have gone terribly wrong in recent times. The upcoming 2019 elections will be a litmus test for TRS and KCR in Telangana. Hence, KCR asked Lagadapati Rajagopal to conduct a survey on behalf of him and his party.

The survey would feature various aspects like, people’s response to KCR rule, MLA’s performance and allocating constituencies to respective contestants. One has to wait and see, whether Lagadapati’s survey will be a boon or curse to TRS and KCR in Telangana.

Telugu Bullet political analysts predicted that YS Jagan will make all the efforts to drive away ‘Kapu’ leader from YSRCP, and brand the party as ‘BC friendly’. His latest move mirrors the same. According to insider sources, messengers from the YSRCP High command have informed Vangaveeti Radha that, he will not be given the party ticket to contest from East, West or Central Vijayawada. Instead, they asked Vangaveeti Radha to contest from Avanigadda.

On hearing this, Radha became furious and has decided to leave the party for once and all. Radha, who is known for his hasty decision making, is likely to join TDP, close sources said.

Vangaveeti Radha has been facing humiliation from YS Jagan to other senior party leaders in YSRCP in recent times. And moreover, Radha is clueless about YS Jagan’s attitude, of giving party tickets to newcomers, ignoring senior party members.

When the same has been communicated to him, his followers also advised that Kapu community is with TDP and not YSRCP. The only way Vangaveeti Radha could take revenge on YSRCP (and YS Jagan) is by competing from Vijayawada as a TDP contestant. In recent times, Kapu community has been pro of Chandrababu Naidu and TDP, after he the CM approved the Kapu community reservation.

Sources close to TDP claim that Radha might join TDP on 22nd January, along with other Kapu leaders.

The death of 5 people, along with a 2-year-old child made headlines not only in Telugu states but also nationwide. The reported incident took place on October 17th, 2017. Patolla Prabhakar Reddy, his wife Madhavi, their 2-year-old son Harshith, Prabhakar Reddy’s aunt (mother’s younger sister) Kondapuram Lakshmi, and her daughter Sindhuja were found dead along the Shamshabad highway in Hyderabad.

Prabhakar Reddy and Harshith dead bodies have been found in an SUV car. Hyderabad police took the case prestigiously. After the postmortem was completed for the dead bodies on October 19th, 2017, the Osmania Forensic department doctors have confirmed ‘poison’ to be the reason for the deaths.

The police officials have been successful in keeping the details of the investigation under wraps for a long time. But the latest reports have suggested that Prabhakar Reddy has used ‘cyanide’ for committing suicide.

‘He might have contaminated the food and drinks with cyanide. It is very poisonous and can kill an adult human within 3-4 minutes. We believe, Prabhakar Reddy and Lakshmi are aware of the mass-suicidal plan. Prabhakar Reddy has lost over Rs.12 crores in Share market. And his aunt, Lakshmi lent a great chunk of that money, by borrowing from others. This could be the reason for the mass suicidal,’ said a police officer.

You read it right. A mother and a daughter consume over 810 kg of food every day. Don’t be shocked. We are not talking about human beings. We are talking about (probably) the cutest animal, the Elephant. Vishakhapatnam is known for its beautiful beaches and amazing scenic views. The city is also home to a zoo park, which features rare specials and endangered animals. One can find white tigers too.

Recently, two new visitors have come to the zoo, which could well be their home from hereon. Two elephants, Saraswati and Lakshmi, were brought from Aurangabad to the Vizag (Vishakhapatnam) zoo. Saraswati and Lakshmi are mother and daughter. They are slowly, but steadily adapting to the new environment, and are currently a treat for the visitors.

Shockingly, both these elephants are reminding of Lord Bhima. Together, they consume over 1000 kg food every day. Their menu consists of, 650 kg green grass, 20 kg cattle feed, 10 kg of Raagi balls, 5 kg jaggery Rice, 5 kg chickpeas, 10 coconuts, 75 kg sugarcane plants, 5 watermelons, 400+ bananas, 50 kg banyan tree and peepal tree leaves and others.

Along with Saraswati and Lakshmi, two more elephants; Krishna and Raju are amusing the visitors.

According to the US Federal Aviation authorities, the passengers on the flight heading towards Honk Kong, originating San Francisco spotted an ICBM (Intercontinental Ballistic Missile) from their windows.

The ICBM was 280 nautical miles away from the aircraft. At the time of the incident, the aircraft was 155 miles away from Japan’s coast. Along with this aircraft, 9 other aircrafts were travelling on the same route. Over, 716 flights travel in this route daily. If the missile had hit any of those aircrafts, it could have led to a catastrophic air accident.

This incident took place on November 28th, 2017. The ICBM firing was a part of the Nuclear Tests being carried out by the rogue nation, North Korea. This incident once again raises safety concerns for people travelling in a commercial jet, close to North Korea.

The Sikkolu police (Srikakulam district) arrested an astrologer on charges of ‘blackmailing’ and ‘threat calls’ to minister Achenna Naidu. Addressing the media representatives, the police stated that, Murapaka Kaalidasu Sharma, a native of Parvathipuram Village, Vijayanagaram and his associate Josyula Sankara Rao, a native of Rayagada made threat calls.

Achenna Naidu along with his family took part in a religious ceremony conducted in Parvathipuram last year. This ceremony was headed by Kaalidasu Sharma himself. It is heard that the minister reportedly paid Rs. 80 lakhs for the performing the ceremony. With an intention to once again cash the minister’s weakness, Kaalidasu Sharma and his associate devised a plan.

Sankara Rao purchased a sim card on a different name. He called a close associate of the minister, claiming himself to be a Naxalite, and threatening to kill the minister. To further instil fear, Sankara Rao installed gelatine sticks along the path of Minister’s convoy. During a routine check, the police discovered the gelatine sticks, and further probed into the incident.

Finally, they arrested Sankara Rao, and later Kaalidasu. Both the duo has been produced in the court. Kaalidasu is well-known for aiding ministers and top-politicians, promising good political career and riches.

In a stint carried by a news daily, the security guards are caught taking money from the young couples. Constant surveillance of police on hotels, motels and lodges drove the couples towards parks and public places for their sexual adventures. Taking this as an opportunity, the security guards are trading privacy for money.

The security guards are charging Rs. 500 from the couples to provide privacy for an hour. They are also advising deserted places, which are generally free from the crowd. If the couple’s pay Rs.50 to Rs. 200, they are advised secret places behind bushes and constructions within the parks.

According to the government laws, many of the parks should be closed by 8:00 pm. But these security guards, who are taking the money, are letting the couples stay until 11:00 pm. Several people have already filed a complaint against the prohibited and explicit activates going on in the parks.

If you have inherited property and other valuables from your father, and his ancestors, you might end up having 5 crores – 10 crores. But what if we told you Rs. 8000 crores are left unclaimed? Yes, command man has left Rs. 8000 crores, with no contact details, no address, and not even a nominee, with the PSBs – Public Sector Banks. And you know what, there are over 2.63-crore unclaimed accounts.

The number of unclaimed accounts doubled in four years. In 2012, there was 1.32 crore unclaimed accounts, while that number reached 2.63 cores in 2016. Similarly, the deposits lying in those accounts rose from Rs. 3,589 crores to Rs. 8,864.6 crores.

Out of these 2.63-crore unclaimed accounts, 47,00,000 accounts are with State Bank of India, with deposits of Rs. 1,036 crores. Punjab National Bank has over 23,00,000 unclaimed accounts with deposits worth Rs. 829 crores.

This situation usually occurs, when account holder stops transacting with the bank, or the bank has limited details about the account holder. For the record, only 50 out of 233 countries in the world has more than 2.63-crore population.

Sasikala Learning Computer Science And Kannada Language In Jail!

She is the queen of ‘Mannargudi Mafia’. After the death of Jayalalitha, she wanted to be the CM of Tamil Nadu. She ensured everything fell in its place, right from her party MLAs, to the people of Tamil Nadu. It was obligatory that everyone had to bow down their head, and touch her feet, just like they did in the case of late Jayalalitha. Then CM, Panneer Selvam was also not spared from this ritual. Such was the supremacy, and control Sasikala Natarajan had on Tamil Nadu and Tamil politics.

Everything flipped upside down with the judgment from the Supreme Court. After the apex court sentenced her to jail for 4 years, things took a drastic turn. Palanai Swamy, who became the CM with Sasikala support, showed his back. He joined hands with Panneer Selvam and is running the current government in TN.

Back in the jail, Sasikala is just like any other convict in the jail. Though she enjoyed few privileges initially, she is stripped off from them. Currently, the ‘Mannargudi Mafia’ queen has enrolled herself in a computer course and Kannada language course. The jail authorities are teaching how to read and write Kannada to prisoners. It is a part of government’s ‘literacy programs’ initiative. Post that, the prisoners will also be awarded certificates of successful completion of the program.

This is the reason Lord Krishna said, ‘Do your duty, without expecting results’. Sasikala expected more than what she could really deserve. And finally, she deserved what she had too.

Here comes the speed breaker to the ruling TRS party and Chief Minister KCR in Telangana. The TRS party has lost in the MPTC elections in Karimnagar, the same district which breathed life into the Telangana movement. TRS has lost in the two MPTC elections. The ruling party failed to even secure 1/3 of the vote count. Congress and BJP termed their victory as the beginning of the end to KCR and TRS in Telangana.

The BJP candidate won in the Gangadhar MPTC seat, and Congress won in Asanapalli MPTC seat. What’s more shocking is, the Congress candidate, Manohar won with a great majority over his opponent from TRS.

The Karimnagar MPTC elections results proved the predictions of an easy win by TRS wrong. This is as an eye-opener to the TRS Government and CM KCR in Telangana. Many great heroes who were a part of the Telangana movement are from Karimnagar. The TRS government is facing severe criticism within the own party after an MLC and few groups raised their voice against the CM KCR itself.

Few surveys conducted by various media houses and political parties pointed the rise in an anti-TRS slogan in few regions of Telangana. With Congress recouping its strength, and BJP making swift moves, TRS needs to prepare for a combat battle in 2019 Telangana Assembly elections.
