A 10^th graduate can become a Reserve Bank of India employee!

The Reserve Bank of India has released a notification for the filling of 526 vacant Office Attendant Posts pan India. Going by the statistics, the 27 Office Attendant Posts are available in Hyderabad for the states of Andhra Pradesh and Telangana. The Mumbai Reserve Bank of India branch has the maximum number of vacant posts with 165. Followed by Mumbai, the Bangalore RBI branch as 58 vacant posts. The office attendant posts are three types: Peon, Mazdoor and Darwan.

In the notification released by the RBI, it also stated that candidates can become Senior Office Attendant on promotion. Candidates with a bachelor degree are eligible for promotion as RBI Assistant.

Application deadline: 07.12.2007
Online Exam Date: December 2017 / January 2017

Qualifications:

Candidates born between 01.11.1992 and 01.11.1999 are eligible for these posts. Candidates belonging to SC/STup to 5 years; OBC candidates have up to 3 years and PWD candidates have up to 10 years of age relaxation.

Acclaimed writer-cum-actor Posani Krishna Murali reacted on the Nandi Awards Controversy. The row of the recently announced AP State Nandi Awards has been getting intense with each passing day. A couple of producers and directors expressed their anger over the Nandi Awards Jury. Few have even called the awards as ‘Kamma (Chowdary Community) Awards and Cycle Awards’. The Jury Member Madineni Ramesh even abused filmmaker Ram Gopal Varma, after the latter questioned the prejudice in Nandi Awards in a sarcastic manner.

The recent buzz is that Posani Krishna Murali has reacted rather in a unique way on the same issue. Posani came out expressing himself in a press meet.

Following is the translation of (part of) the press meet:

[I was briefly going through Today’s Andhra Jyothi newspaper. I happened to come across the article “AP Sarkar serious on the Nandi Awards Row. Is it wrong to felicitate Telugu people by giving them Nandi Awards? Why are trying to tarnish the State Government’s image by dragging caste into the issue? The whole film industry is in Hyderabad and majority of the awards belonged to non-AP people only. If things go overboard, we don’t mind to cancel the awards itself”. The article was published as if the Government officials have informed the ABN Andhra Jyothi to publish the same.

Let us talk about Nara Lokesh’s comments. He says, ‘whoever is criticizing the government, they are all NRA – Non-Resident Andhra’s. People with no Voter Card and Aadhaar Card in AP will only comment on Nandi Awards. What is the reason behind people sitting in Hyderabad and making such controversial comments on Nandi Awards? Only three people are seen in this controversy.’

Before I speak further on this, I would like to really thank KCR, Chief Minister of Telangana, people of Telangana and all the political leaders in Telangana. I have realized how great, upright, kind, innocent, and wholehearted are the people of Telangana with Nara Lokesh’s statements.

By just making comments on Nandi Awards, do we become Non-Resident Andhra’s according to Nara Lokesh? Then what about the political leaders and others who have stayed in Telangana and used Telangana State Movement for political gain?

Even KCR stated that we have an issue with Andhra political leaders who looted Telangana, and not with the innocent people of Andhra. They are also our sons, daughters, brothers, and sisters.

If the people of Telangana had a similar mindset like Nara Lokesh, the Andhra people living in Telangana would have been running for life by now. We have become Telugu Rohingya’s (referring to Muslim Rohingya’s movement in Myanmar). I am sure that if a person like Nara Lokesh becomes the CM, it would be next to impossible for anyone to survive. Will they even let us live?

Lokesh Babu, are you even educated? Do you have sense, awareness, character? Don’t forget the fact that Hyderabad is a common capital from 2014 – 2024 for the states of Telangana and Andhra Pradesh. Why are you people having own houses, lands, and properties in Telangana? Are you not paying the taxes to the Telangana government? So, if you people are paying the taxes, what is the pain if we too pay?

You expect us not to criticize you staying in Hyderabad, but you people can play politics sitting in Vijayawada despite having shopping malls, bungalows, and other properties in Hyderabad.

While you condemn us by calling NRAs, then did the Government take NRA who don’t even have an Aadhaar Card and Voter Card in Andhra Pradesh as Jury members? Why did you provide them with a stay in a5-star hotel and paid their flight expenses?

Please … please! Do let me know. Please enlighten me!

And what did you people say finally? You are going to eliminate the Nandi Awards if the uproar against them further continue?

The Telugu people have been expressing their frustration for a very long time. Did you people ban or reject the leaders who have jumped into your party (TDP) after winning a seat as a YSRCP Contestant?

Why don’t you people think about the controversies that surrounded even national awards like Bharat Ratna and Padma Sri? Did the Central Government ever say they would eliminate these National Awards because the government has been receiving criticism? Then why you people? Why can’t you take criticism on Nandi Awards?

Don’t you think the Jury favored some while ignoring others? I demand all the Jury members take a lie-detector test on national television. If everyone comes as clean on their decision, I would fall on their feet and mercy.

Even I got Nandi Award. So? Everyone knows that I don’t do lobbying for awards, nor any sort of behind-the-curtain activities. I believe you all people know whether I lead a gentleman’s life or a scoundrel life.

I feel ashamed to be among the Nandi Awardees. People can ask me, ‘Posani, how did you get the Nandi Award? Did you lobby for the award? Or is it because you belonged to Kamma caste?’ I am liable to answer to everyone who asks me such questions.

Why can’t the state government answer the same? Did Chandrababu Naidu ever make a clear statement regarding the selection of Nandi Awardees? No.

But the same CM stated that ‘We have handed over the responsibility to the Jury. It is their choice to select the Nandi Awardees. Maybe we should have carried this procedure in a different manner.’]

After the interview from Posani Krishna Murali, the Nandi Awards Controversy might have a deep impact on the minds of the film audience and voters. Whatever claims he had made in his interview, are nothing but facts. This might be offensive, but he is true and clear. He doesn’t lie like the cheap politicians, nor carry behind-the-door lobbying like the political parties.

Man kidnaps ‘his own’ elephant from Forest Officials.

Kerala police file a criminal case against an elephant owner named Iswaran Pillai after he was found kidnapping ‘his own’ elephant.

Iswaran had an elephant named Valanjabalam Ganapathy. The elephant killed two mahouts ( the person who works with and rides an elephant) in the past. After the mishap, Iswaran’s elephant was confined to a secluded place.

The elephant had several injuries after it was left in the open to sun and rain. Its legs were badly wounded. After some locals informed the Forest Department Officials about the injured elephant, the officials took the elephant into their custody and it was taken to Eravathur.

The Forest Department filed a case against Iswaran for torturing and not taking proper care of the elephant. The elephant was steadily recovering under the Forest Department’s observation. It was during this time, Iswaran kidnapped the elephant from the Forest Department Custody.

The elephant was later found in Cochin upon search. The Chief Wildlife Warden directed the officials to take the elephant into custody from Iswaran. A fresh case has been registered against Iswaran for kidnapping the elephant from the Forest Department’s custody.

Even after the Supreme Court of India has banned the medieval practice of instant ‘Triple Talaq’, a woman from Hyderabad was given divorce by her husband over the phone.

According to the reports, a woman was divorced by her husband over the phone after the latter called for ‘Triple Talaq’. The woman stated that she even heard her mother-in-law speaking to her husband while he was divorcing her.

‘He called me on 13th November and gave ‘Talaq’ over the phone. When I said that I would be coming to his place right now, he cut the call and left the place. After 2-3 hours I again got a call from him. He said he is not willing to stay with me and said ‘Talaq, Talaq, Talaq’ over the phone. I got married to him on 18^th October 2017. I am sure his mother is also with him at during that time’, said the victim.

She also added that ‘He told he married another woman and is currently living with her. My family has paid nearly 2 Lakhs rupees to his family at the time of the marriage.’

Interestingly, the accused man has defended his actions of abandoning his wife and marrying another woman.

A CRPF Soldier has been arrested on the charges of Molestation. It is reported that soldier Ravi Kumar. B with ID No. 035052861 has been sexually harassing a woman in a movie theatre. The soldier was beaten-up by the crowd before he was handed over to the police. The incident took place in a local movie Theater in Shimoga, Karnataka.

An investigation-video went viral after it showed the policemen investigating Ravi Kumar. According to the reports, a family had gone to watch a movie to the theatre. The accused CRPF soldier was sitting behind the family members.

The victim stated that ‘he was harassing from behind. He started murmuring something initially and started touching sensitive parts using his feet. I was very uncomfortable and complained about him to my family members.’

The victim’s family members got into a tiff with the CRPF Soldier and soon the locals joined them up and thrashed him and handed him to the police. The victim is yet to file a case against the CRPF Soldier. But the police have confirmed that a case of ‘public molestation’ has been filed. The soldier is currently out on bail.

The police said, ‘if the victim lodges a complaint, we will prepare a fresh FIR against the CRPF soldier’.

With everyday passing by, the cost of ‘Health’ has been increasing. Though the per capita income increased in the last 5 years, the cost of Health increased disproportionately. Hospitals have become business houses that earn crores of rupees in the name of ‘advanced treatment’. One such incident took place in Gurgaon at the Fortis Memorial Research Institute.

A 7-year-old girl named Adya Singh was admitted to the hospital on 31^st August and was diagnosed with dengue. As the girl’s condition deteriorated she was put on a ventilator the next day. The hospital treated the girl for about 15 days. The girl died in front of the hospital premises after the parents wanted to transfer the 7-year-old to another hospital.

The girl’s father was asked to clear the bill. It was at that time he realized that they charged for 660 syringes and 2700 gloves were used. The hospital charged Rs 200 for strips to check blood sugar levels. The girl’s father mentioned that ‘they state Rs 13 on their website.’

The girl’s family took forward the incident to the Union Minister Jagat Prakash Nadda. A case has been filed against the hospital.

Indian Army has created a new world record for a daredevilry. The record was created after 58 Men traveled on a single motorcycle. The breathtaking stunt by the 58 men took place at the IAF base in Yelahanka, Bengaluru. They belong to the ‘Tornadoes’ Service Corps.

It was a 20-year-old ‘Royal Enfield’ motorbike which was driven by a Subedar Rampal Yadav, which was customized to fit 58 men. The bike covered a total distance of 1200 meters. These kind of records are not new for the ASC daredevil’s team. It has 19 national and international records under its belt. With Sunday’s feat, it became their 20^th title in all together.

Major Bunny Sharma was leading the team, and the men carried off the feat with surgical precision.The ASC personnel were in an attempt to break their own record of 56 men on a single bike, which they earlier attempted in the year 2010. The Tornadoes began the feat with a fall in and roll call.

It was actually an attempt to house 60 men, but two could not participate in the feat. Overall it was a tedious task and only after multiple attempts, by the end of the day they were able to achieve it. In all 150 personnel of the ASC took part in the program to support staff and daredevil team.

Disaster struck Australia after a 7.3 massive earthquake was reported on eastern coast of Australia, on Monday, triggering Tsunami alert.

Authorities in Australia, New Zealand, and Hawaii confirmed there were no tsunami threats to the coastlines of their countries.

The ‘Ring of Fire’ in the Pacific Ocean has a long history of frequent geological movements. Earthquakes and volcanic eruptions are a common sight in this regions. Falling in the region is the French territory New Caledonia, which comprises of many islands.

Tsunami warning though was immediately issued by the Pacific Tsunami Warning Centre, for New Caledonia and Vanuatu islands.The tremor hit at a depth of 25km, some 85kms to the east where a small population lives in the Loyalty Islands, said the survey.There may be some minor fluctuations that may continue over the next few hours said the reports.

Reports in local media surfaced about the disaster, and the relief programs are underway. The resident rushed out of the buildings and came on to the streets. No official orders issued for coastal regions, to make any possible evacuations, but there is an alert which stated about hazardous tsunami waves that are a possibility within 300km of the epicenter.

Two drunk men alleged to have misbehaved with a woman cabin crew of Indigo airlines at Hyderabad International Airport. The matter was immediately taken to the security staff by the cabin crew where the duo was taken to the police outpost at the airport itself, in an intoxicated state. The duo fell at the feet of the staffer to apologize.

A video of the whole incident was taken and it is now making rounds in social media circle. The video shows the men harassing and creating a nuisance at the airport. It also covered the men being taken to police where they were kneeling down to apologize the women.

However, contrary to reports, the SI, Sub-Inspector at Rajiv Gandhi International Airport police station, Mr. Ramesh Naik, said the woman, a cabin crew did not make any official complaint against the men. The police were informed that the men were students. But they were booked for creating nuisance in an inebriated condition.

Indigo Airlines is always in the news of late, whether it is misbehavior from ground staff towards passengers, or flight narrowly escaping an attack from a pig or for that matter, Indigo airline staff hitting an old passenger.

It came out as a shocker to one and all that the Consul General Shashank Vikram, who was robbed by 8 armed men and also held his 5-year-old son at gunpoint shows clear security lapse. The Incident happened on Thursday came to limelight when the Indian government on Sunday took the matter to authorities in South Africa, stating that the safety and security of Indian diplomats/officials designated abroad and their families are of highest priority.

In spite of all protection given by the South African Police Services, VIP unit, a private guard company and armed response provider, the envoy’s residence, Indian House, in the Morningside area of the city, was breached, said the local reports.

Breaking open into the house by attacking the guard, around 4 pm local time, the robbers gave a 10-minute ordeal to Vikram’s wife, Megha Singh and their two young children who were home at that time, terrifying all of them. It looks like they held the five-year-old son of the general hostage as they demanded money and gold from Mrs. Singh.

Mrs. Singh pressed the alarm running to the main bedroom and called her husband. The robbers fled taking a cellphone and a few other small items, while Vikram rushed home even before security officers could reach the spot and took the surveillance camera footage.

External Affairs Minister Sushma Swaraj called on Vikram and inquired about his family.

Chandrababu Naidu who has been criticized heavily for his ‘Operation Akarsh’ by the YSRCP is likely to use the same mechanism against a BJP leader. It is reported that Rakhi Sawant has lodged a complaint and an FIR has been filed against the Rajput Karni Sena. Speaking to a media house, Rakhi Sawant stated that, ‘I have been getting repeated threat calls. The members of Rajput Karni Sena are making obscene remarks against me. When he was a part of the Congress Party, Pawar has often criticized Sonia Gandhi stating that she is a rookie in politics, and doesn’t lack any leadership qualities. It was also heard that he made these comments hoping that he can become the Prime Minister given the circumstances that prevailed at that time.

Everything seemed perfect between the Indian National Congress and Hardik Patel until the very last minute. Both the parties seemed like they have come to a common point. But the clash erupted at the last minute late into the night after Congress party has announced a list of 77 candidates including 2 candidates from Hardik Patel’s PAAS (Patidar Anamat Andolan Samiti).

The clash took place at the office of Praful Togadia, Congress candidate from Patel dominated constituency of Varchcha Road in Surat. PAAS party members stated that ‘Congress declared the list the candidates even without consulting our core committee.’ Initially, according to an agreement with Congress, PAAS was to contest in 5 seats.

It was thought that Hardik Patel would be officially announcing the alliance of PAAS and Congress on Monday when the CM would be filing his nomination papers. With the widespread protests within PAAS, one has to wait and see whether Hardik would officially announce the alliance or not.

Meanwhile, Hardik scaled down to his demand of 7 to 9 assembly seats, after Congress leaders had a hard-bargaining session with him. It is heard that Congress raised about the alleged sex scandal tapes of Hardik.

Former Prime Minister of India, Late Smt. Indira Gandhi was born on 19^th of November, 1917. She was born to Jawaharlal Nehru (first Indian Prime Minister) and Kamaladevi. Indira Gandhi breathed her last after she was shot by her security guards. Let us know an interesting incident that took place after the death of Indira Gandhi.

Late Ram Mohan Rao, then Chief of Doordarshan news Division shared an interesting fact. ‘I was having my breakfast on 31^st of October 1984. My RAX (emergency) Telephone rang repeatedly. I heard HY Sarada Prasad, Advisor for Indira Gandhi. He said, Ram Mohan Rao, the Prime Minister has been shot by her security guards. She is critically injured. She has been taken to the AIIMS for the treatment. Contact the doctors for more information.

On hearing this, I immediately ran to the News Room. We announced in the bulletin that ‘The Prime Minister has been attacked. She is being treated at AIIMS.’

The news that many people celebrated the ‘attack on Indira’ led to protests and riots across the nation. We had to stay in the Doordarshan Office for the next 3 days.

Vice-President of India, R Venkatraman came to the News Room and announced that ‘Rajiv Gandhi will be the Prime Minister of India’ on the same evening’, shared Late Ram Mohan Rao in an occasion.
