The AICC Chief Rahul Gandhi once again visited Telangana and participated in three meetings in the newest State of Telangana. Observing these three meetings and the way they ended up, a big break in Grand Alliance partners seems to be inevitable. The Grand Alliance of Congress, TDP, TJS, and CPI have decided to organize meetings as a part of their election campaign. In the three meetings held in Adilabad, Kamareddy and Hyderabad Old City, only Rahul and his TPCC leaders were present but other parties in the alliance skipped the meetings for reasons better known to Congress.

It is being speculated that this absence is due to Congress’s dominance and Seat sharing issues among the parties. First and foremost, TDP which demanded 15 seats is rumoured to be confined to only 10 seats and CBN along with his leader skipped these meetings. The TJS Supreme Kodandaram who demanded 12 seats are not even getting 6 finally so he is all set to exit the alliance. Already CPI which was offended by a 3 seats offer exited the alliance as per the reliable sources in Telangana.

Looking at all these developments, Congress should be blamed for not keeping the alliance united with its stubbornness on seat sharing. Had if it worked towards amicable solutions, the grand alliance can shake their rival TRS by displaying its strength in Telangana but everything is going in vain with AICC’s one side acts.
