Spiritual Guru Asaram Bapu, who has over 20 million followers worldwide, running more than 400+ ashrams, and who is an ‘advisor and political guru’ to many Indian politicians, included PM Modi has been awarded Life Imprisonment.

The latest verdict came in the 2013 case, where the spiritual guru is accused of sexually abusing a young girl. ‘In the name of exorcism, Asaram Bapu has abused our daughter. We are happy that he is being punished. This verdict once again instills the faith in our judiciary’, said a senior lawyer associated with the case.

After the girl’s parents lodged a police complaint against Asaram Bapu in August 2013. The police tried to arrest. But, the Spiritual guru locked himself in his ashram, and it was only on September 1st he has been arrested.

Since then he has been spending his time in the Jodhpur jail. Initially, the verdict was supposed to be given in the court premises. Keeping in mind of the violent acts that place in the case of Dera Baba, the authorities arranged for special hearing within the Jodhpur Jail premises in a special room. The Rajasthan High Court has so far rejected 12 bail petitions of the spiritual guru.

Janasena Chief Pawan Kalyan has completely irked the channels TV9 and ABN to the core. The pro-TDP party ABN for the first time made its response official via its Channel by airing a copy of the legal notice.

Pawan did achieve what he has targeted via his Tweets. After dragging his name intentionally by a group of channel heads with the support of TDP, he has lost his patience and waged a war. Thus, he launched a tweet warfare on ABN and TV9 and their heads. On this spree, he termed the ABN’s head RK as Boothu Jyothi Ratna and asked all to use so-called abuse word as RK declares it as a widely used word in villages. Janasenani even asked the son of RK to offer him some manners. This didn’t go well with the ABN Chief and he approached the court of Law and filed a case on Pawan. Also, he sent legal notices to his new rival Pawan Kalyan and for the first time, he made his channel to telecast Pawan’s tweets for the first time to showcase their so-called legal notice as a counter.

In his legal notice, RK condemned all the tweets directed towards him and his channel. Calling him as a directionless politician, RK demands an unconditional apology to him and ABN for maligning his name in his tweets. Not stopping there, RK is using his channel to stress that his legal notices are troubling Pawan which in reality the latter gives a damn about them. For now, Pawan didn’t respond to this news today and the fans are waiting for a great retort from their leader. However, the new aspiring Politician of AP declared that his war on these Channel heads will not end in the near future. Also, he opines that his tweets have no legality as Tweets come under personal points and are completely fine under constitutional rights.

TDP Senior leader, and former Minister (in united AP), and a well-distinguished leader from Mahbubnagar Nagam Janardhan Reddy has joined Indian National Congress (or simple Congress), in the presence of INC President Rahul Gandhi. Along with Nagam, Surya Kiran, son of revolutionary Telugu balladeer Gaddar, and Adi Srinivas (from Vemulavada) also joined the INC.

Rahul Gandhi welcomed the trio by adorning them with INC Scarf and said that they should work to get the Congress party back into power in Telangana.

Speaking at the occasion Surya Kiran said, ‘my interest in politics has brought me here’. Sources close to the young leader said that he is trying to contest from Secunderabad Cantonment constituency in the upcoming Telangana Assembly Polls. Surya Kiran is currently working as a research associated with NIFT (National Institute of Fashion Technology), Hyderabad.

Political analysts believe that Congress might end up with 20-25 seats in the upcoming state assembly elections.

Senior TDP leader and former AP Minister Anam Vivekananda Reddy passed away today morning. The 67-year-old politician has played a key role in the TDP party. He has been under medical supervision for the past one month. Telugu Bullet also reported that AP CM Nara Chandrababu Naidu Garu has visited Anam Vivekananda Reddy in the hospital.

After Anam fell sick, he was admitted to a hospital in Nellore. Later he was shifted to KIMS (Krishna Institute of Medical Sciences), Secunderabad for better treatment. Born on 25th December 1950, Anam Vivekananda Reddy won in 1999, 2004, and 2009 AP Assembly elections. Though he was offered a place in the AP Cabinet, he has rejected.

Anam was not only a mere politician but was regarded as someone very close to the people of Nellore. His two sons; Anam Chenchu Subba Reddy and Anam Ranga Mayur Reddy are also into politics.

Elder son Subba Reddy contested for AP Assembly as Congress candidate in 2014 election and lost. While the younger son Mayur Reddy is currently serving as a Corporation.

He is known for his unique lifestyle and is often referred as the firebrand of TDP.

In this context, a survey shed light on how the people of the nation want the child rape convicts to be punished. Over 76% of them voted for ‘Death Sentence’ to these rapists, while 18% of them supported lifetime imprisonment without parole.

While 7% of them stated that, the seven-year jail term should be continued for child rape convicts. The survey is carried out by LocalCircles, an NGO.

In another survey, over 89% of the respondents demanded their state governments to pass a stringent law, which awards death punishment to the child rape convicts. Over 40,000 individuals expressed their opinion in this survey.

Film actor and social activist once again became the hot topic for the media. Speaking at a social gathering, Prakash Raj came down hard on the Centre. ‘If having Hindus in large numbers make India as Hindu Nation, then why can’t you make Crow as our national crow?

We have more crows than peacocks (our national bird), in our country. If your measure is by numbers in labelling India as a ‘Hindu Nation’, then immediately announce Crow as our national bird.

I’m still shocked why Narendra Modi did not speak on those who celebrated the murder of Senior Journalism Gauri Lankesh in Bangalore? This is not what we expect from the PM of our Nation. This is the reason why I protest against him’, said Prakash Raj.

The actor has been causing a rage on social media with his tweets on Twitter. Though he seems to be a clear anti-BJP activist, he makes a lot of sense through his tweets, and messages across various social platforms. In recent times, not only his followers on Twitter has increased, but people supporting him have also increased in large numbers.

BJP Demands MLA Nandamuri Balakrishna Arrest

Everyone who witnessed CBN’s Praja Poraata Deeksha would get shell-shocked at Balayya’s speech. This Hindupur MLA’s speech which apparently gave praisals ended up bringing unwanted problems from his rivals.Balayya in his yesterday’s staggering speech against Modi and his camp delivered a mouthful of abuses on the Indian Prime Minister.

Even Though his close quarters hailed his guts,  AP BJP camp took these comments quite seriously. BJP leaders in their recent press meet declared a war on Balayya until he gets arrested. The party’s experienced leader MLC Vishnu Kumar Raju fumed on Balayya regarding his indecency towards Indian Prime Minister. Also, he reminded that it is a crime against the Indian Government which needs to be punished. Not stopping there, Raju questioned CBN’s quiet nature while Balayya slamming Modi with unparliamentary words. Raju opined that Babu himself should have condemned Balayya’s speech there itself and arrested him.

He continued by alleging that Balayya used to have pp record in the past where he abused his fellow actresses, slapped fans and quarreled with his fellow men in Cinema Field. These BJP leaders went to Governor’s camp office in Visakhapatnam and handed over written complaint on Balayya. Upon submitting, they asked Governor to take a legal action against Balayya as soon as possible. The Opposition party YSRCP leaders are also condemning Balayya’s cheap comments. Some even say that he also degraded hijras.
