Karnataka is all set to go for its State Assembly elections on May 12. The Election Commission of India called for a press meet early in the morning. In its survey, C-fore predicted that Congress will win around 126 seats in the upcoming Karnataka Assembly elections, with BJP to bag around 70 seats. Deve Gowda’s JD(S) is likely to be limited to 27 seats.

In the 2013 Karnataka Assembly elections, Congress won 122 seats, BJP won 40 seats, and JD(S) winning 40 seats. The survey has once again pointed out the fact that, the downfall of BJP is looming.
