Former Minister Kanna Lakshmi Narayana had a great influence in the Guntur Constituency and as well as the state politics. This was his sweet past. He did not miss any opportunity to criticize and condemn the current Chief Minister Chandrababu Naidu back then. As the 2014 Election date neared, his attack on Chandrababu got more intense and severe. Kanna was hoping that YSRCP would be forming the government.

But shockingly after TDP formed the government in Andhra Pradesh and Chandrababu becoming the CM, Kanna immediately joined the BJP camp which was an ally to TDP. This protected Kanna from the wrath of Chandrababu who had overlooked it due to his alliance with BJP. On realizing that BJP wouldn’t have any future in AP Politics, Kanna is busy making preparations to leave the BJP party. Close sources to the former minister said that‘Kanna has felt that it’s not any safer to be in BJP given the straining ties between TDP and BJP’.

Multiple properties belonging to Dawood Ibrahim have been seized by the government authorities under the SAFEMA (Smugglers and Foreign Exchange Manipulators) Act almost 15 years ago.

Three properties belonging to the mafia don have been auctioned by the Excise officials on Tuesday. ‘The three properties which were in a derelict condition fetched Rs. 11.58 Crores in the auction,’ said an Excise Official. Six Czech tourists have been reportedly fined Rs 4,500 and were arrested for wearing mankinis and publicly appearing in an indecent manner. This incident took place last week in the capital city of Astana, Kazakhstan after Six Czech tourist-group posted photos of their ‘appearance in mankinis’ on the streets of Astana.

The local media reported on Tuesday that each tourist has been fined a sum of 22,500 Tenge (or Rs. 4425 approximately) on the arrest. The Chinese Space Agency stated that it is aiming to bring down the satellite launch costs as low as Rs 3.27 Lakh/Kg. The current space industry is estimated to drive a $350 Billion business in the coming few years. ISRO has been a prime launching platform for more than 25 countries. ISRO has launched 209 satellites (in mini, nano, micro and standard sizes) for 28 countries.

The recent move to reduce the launch costs from Chinese Space Agency is perceived as its aspiration to capture the satellite launch business. Currently, a satellite launch on Arianespace’s rocket is around $100 Million, while a satellite launch on Space X is costing $60 million. ISRO has charged an average of $3 Million per satellite between 2013 and 2015. The Antrix Corporation Ltd., the commercial wing of ISRO has announced that it is ready to compete with the recent move from Chinese Space Agency, and will likely reduce the prices to further capture the satellite launch market.

Recently police officials have forced Kethireddy to stop his shooting and leave the NTR Ghat premises stating that director has not obtained any permission to do a shooting here. Post that, Kethireddy hurriedly did the Pooja ceremony and directed a ‘formal first shot’ and left the place along with this production unit.

Following that, the director received a severe backlash from the people of Nimmakuru Village. Nimmakuru Village is located in the Krishna district and is the hometown of Legendary actor and politician Nandamuri Taraka Rama Rao. Kethireddy who has gone to the village to shoot key scenes for his NTR Biopic named ‘Lakshmi’s Veeragrandham’ faced severe criticism and backlash from the people of the village.

The Panchayat head of Nimmakuru Village did not allow Kethireddy to shoot for his film in the village. Kethireddy hoped to pan some key shots as a part of NTR’s initial days for the film. ‘We came to know that this director is making a stupid film in the name of directing the great NTR. We cannot tolerate this and will not allow him to do shooting in this village’, said the villagers in an anguished and angered tone.

Kethireddy along with his production is looking to plan the shoot in another location. Kethireddy wanted to release the film in January 2018 itself. But seeing the backlash he is receiving, and with no prior permission from Lakshmi Parvathi it looks like the release of ‘Lakshmi’s Veeragrandham’ may not be possible. But Kethireddy is firm that he would release the film at any cost.

The boy was arrested on charges of raping a Hen (yes, the hen that lays the egg). The incident took place on 11th November. The owner of the ‘victim hen’ filed a case against Mansab Ali in the police station.

On Tuesday night, the Indigo Aircraft that took-off at 10:30 pm from Vishakhapatnam Airport landed in the airport within an hour. Right after the take-off, the pilot realized that rear landing gear failed to withdraw. He sensed something was obstructing and informed the same to the air traffic tower.

After receiving permission to return to the airport, the pilot the hovered around the airport premises to burn the excess fuel before landing. The officials stated that a wild boar trespassed the fencing and came onto the runway. It was hit by the Indigo flight during its take off.

The Central Industrial Security Force, CISF guards the Main Building of the Airport and up to 1.5 km radius of the airport. The security within the airport vicinity is under the observation of Indian Navy.

It travels up to 80km with 2000 tones cargo after it gets charged for 2 hours! Yes, you read it right. China launches world’s first all-electrical ship. It is a huge 70.5-meter long ship, weighing around 600 tonnes, launched in South China’s Guangdong Province, Guangzhou, the local daily paper reported.
It can cruise at a high speed of 12.8km per hour and the vessel is manufactured by the Guangzhou Shipyard International Ltd and is powered by a 26 ton Lithium battery and supercapacitor can last after a 2-hour recharge.

The ship does not use fossil fuels and has zero exhaust emission which includes, carbon Sulphur and PM2.5. The ship can be used both as a working or a passenger liner ship, State-run Global times have reported.

Wang Yongchen, a Beijing environmentalist quotes in a report that, this kind of ship takes into consideration the harmony between nature and humans, this ship also protects water quality and marine life and should inspire other ships which also sail on local rivers.
On its big inaugural run the vessel was loaded with thermal coal mainly to be used in areas around the Pearl River in Guangdong Province, the report stated.

1000+ officials raided 187 locations in Bengaluru, Hyderabad, Chennai, New Delhi and other cities in Andhra Pradesh linked to Sasikala and her aides. In these searches carried out, the IT Dept found an undisclosed amount of Rs. 1,430 crores.

The IT sleuths carried simultaneous raids in a multi-city operation across the nation. One IT official said that Rs. 7 crores in cash and Rs. 5 crores worth jewellery had been seized during IT search operations in Chennai. Clarifying on the ‘undisclosed income’, IT officials said that ‘this is only limited to undisclosed cash and unexplained cash introduced for acquiring several businesses. The IT officials were shocked after discovering 30-Crores of undisclosed income only in Chennai. 15 Bank lockers having diamond jewellery in them were also kept under ‘prohibitory orders.’

The IT officials expressed that ‘In coming few days, after the examination of various documents found during the searches we should be able to come to a conclusion. The total undisclosed money in the form of cash, property, jewellery, and others can be close to Rs. 2500 crores’.

Sasikala is currently serving her prison-term in Bengaluru Jail.
