AP Secretariat – A Blend Of Kalankari Designs, Modern Architecture, And Engineering Marvel

Designs For AP Secretariat Finalised

AP Secretariat design has been finalized. Norman Foster and Partners Company designed the AP Secretariat. The secretariat complex will comprise of 5 main skyscrapers and other buildings around the skyscrapers.

Talking about the design, it will include a blend of Kalankari designs, and modern architecture. The skyscrapers will be constructed using the ‘Diagrid’ framework of construction. Diagrid is an acronym for Diagonal Grid. In Diagrid constructions, the intersecting metal beams will be intersecting with each other, forming diagonal shapes. This not only minimizes the use of steel, but also removes the need for columns, thereby enabling construction of column-free expanses of roofing, and interiors.

In Diagrid constructions, only the core; comprising of elevators, staircases, and offices, will be having columns. The complete structure will stand on the exterior Diagrid construction.Diagrid will be constructed of high-grade steel, having light weight and high tensile strength. The interior structure of the Diagrid will comprise of polygonal grid configurations, resembling locally available Kalankari designs. This is the first India structures of this kind, and scale is being constructed in India. The exterior diagonal structures will be manufactured somewhere else and will be assembled at the construction site.

The 5 Skyscrapers

As already mentioned there would be 5 skyscrapers, and various other buildings as a part of the AP Secretariat. Following is the description of the skyscrapers:

  1. Total Number of Skyscrapers – 5
  2. One Chief Minister Tower & 4 Other Towers
  3. Height of CM Tower – 207 meters
  4. Height of each tower – 180 meters
  5. Total built up area – 40, 00, 000 sq. feet

Chief Minister’s tower – 1 ( 46 Floors) (with Helipad)

  • 44th – 46th Floors (3) – Exclusively for Chief Minister
  • 42nd – 45th Floors (3) – For AP Chief Secretary
  • Each tower will be connected through a skyway bridge that is constructed at 9mts above the ground level. These bridges will connect the 3-story buildings to the skyscraper.
  • Employees and officials will use these skyway bridges to move between the skyscrapers and the 3-story buildings.

3-story buildings alongside the skyscrapers:

There will be a total of nine 3-story buildings around the 5 skyscrapers. Each tower is connected through the skyway bridge to three 3-story buildings. These buildings will host employees, along with various facilities and amenities for tourists. Food courts will be present in these buildings.

What’s more interesting in the construction is the inclusion of ‘Viewing point’ of Paalavagu. Three skyscrapers (including the Chief Minister’s Tower) are built on side of the Paalavagu, and the other two are built on the opposite side. A skywalk bridge, much larger in length, will be connecting two 3-story buildings present on either side of the Paalavagu. There are plans to develop a viewing point just above the Paalavagu.

Sources close to the AP Government confirmed that the idea of ‘viewpoint’ is inspired by the Marian Barrage, Singapore. It would at least take 3-4 years for the complete construction of the AP Secretariat.

Sridevi – The Souvenir of Indian Cinema! –Superstar Status, Controversies and Death

Sridevi Superstar Status, Controversies and Death

Posted [relativedate] at [relativetime time_format=”H:i”]

Sridevi is one of the most prolific actors of Indian Cinema. She is nicknamed ‘Chandini’ in the B-Town, and ‘Athiloka Sundari’ in T-Town. The actress is still considered as a child; both for her innocence and the being a director’s actor. ‘She understands what the director’s need for the hour is. While the director inputs are limited to 10%, the rest of the 90% is her sheer magic,’ quotes a cinematographer. Born as Shree Amma Yanger Ayyapan on 13th August 1963, Sridevi made her debut with the mythological film Thunaivan (Tamil), when she was just 4.

Two things never got old with time; one is the sheer beauty of Sridevi, and the other is Sridevi herself. The diva often referred herself as ‘Sreedevi’, but she was never bothered to correct the error in her name when referred by others.

Acting as a grand-daughter and a heroine to the same hero…

The national media channels might tag her as the queen of Bollywood, but the truth remains, she is a Telugu girl, born in a Telugu family. She is raised and brought up in Tamil Nadu. The born actress, turned pro just at the age of 13, playing the role of a step-mother to ‘Thalaiva’ Rajinikanth, who was 26 at that time. Sridevi might probably be theonly actress in the history of cinema, to act as grand-daughter and as a heroine to a hero.

sridevi-acting

Sridevi acted as granddaughter to NT Rama Rao in the film Badi Panthulu (1972), when she was 9 years old, and starred opposite to him as the heroine, in the film Vetagadu (1979). At that time, she was just 16 years old.

She rose to success in both Tamil and Telugu film industries concurrently. She acted in more than 20 films with Kamal Hassan and was directed by K Raghavendra Rao in 24 films. Other star heroes who shared screen space with her included Rajinikanth, Chiranjeevi, Nagarjuna, and Venkatesh. She delivered great commercial hits at the box office.

Early career in Bollywood

Sridevi made her Bollywood debut with the movie Solva Sawan (1979), a remake Sridevi’s Tamil film 16 Vayanthinile (1977). Though Solva Sawan bombed at the box office, Sridevi soon landed in the film Himmatwala (1983), opposite Jeetendra. The film turned out to be one of the biggest blockbusters in 1980’s, catapulting Sridevi to newheights in the Hindi film industry. Interestingly, this film too was a remake. It is an official remake of the Telugu film Ooruki Monagadu (1981), which saw Superstar Krishna and Jayaprada in the lead roles. Sridevi scored her second hit with Tohfa. Sridevi and Jayaprada played love interests of Jeetendra in the film. Tohfa turned out to be the biggest hit in 1984.

From thereon, there was no looking back for Sridevi. With back-to-back blockbusters and super hit films, Sridevi established herself as the Lady Superstar in the Indian film industry.

Rise to success in Tamil – Telugu – Hindi Film Industries

Tamil and Telugu Films

Her dream run in Telugu and Tamil film industry continued. Her films with veteran actors NTR (Vetagadu, Sardar Papa Rayudu), ANR (Premabhishekam, Sri Ranga Neethulu) in Telugu remain as classics even till date. Similarly, her films with Chiranjeevi (Jagadeka Veerudu Athiloka Sundari), Nagarjuna (Govinda Govinda, Aakhari Poratam), and Venkatesh (Kshana Kshanam) re-wrote Tollywood box office records and were commercial hits. ‘SP Parusuram’ (1994) with Megastar Chiranjeevi, became her last film in Tollywood.

In Tamil, she was primarily seen with Kamal Hassan (Guru, Vazhey Maayam) andRajinikanth (Johnny, Thanikattu Raja). Her last film in Tamil (before 2015-Puli) was Naan Adimai Illai (1996) with Rajinikanth.

Hindi Films

Parallelly in Bollywood, she starred opposite Kamal Hassan (Sadma), Rajesh Khanna (Masterji), Amitabh Bachchan (Khuda Gawah), Anil Kapoor (Mr India, Lamhe), Rishi Kapoor (Nagina, Chandini) and with other top leading heroes at that time. These movies brought her critical acclaim and stardom in Bollywood.

Her guest appearance in Janbaaz completely overshadowed the lead actress Dimple Kapadia upon the film’s release. This is a clear example of the stardom, and craze Sridevi enjoyed in her 18-year long film career. After she got married to Boney Kapoor in 1996, she took a long break.

After a 15-year hiatus from the silver screen, the angelic beauty made her come back with the film ‘English Vinglish’ (2012). English Vinglish is the story of a mother who is mocked by her husband and daughter for her poor English speaking skills. She later enrols in an English-speaking course and becomes proficient in the language. The film was both a critical and commercial success.

The prolific actress started her second innings in Tamil, with the movie Puli (2015). She played the role of the prince’s mother in the film. Sridevi played her final major role came in the movie ‘Mom’ which released in July 2017. We can see her one last time on the silver screen in Shah Rukh Khan’s ‘Zero’. The movie is set to release in December 2018.

Personal Life and Controversies:

It is rumoured that Sridevi was deeply in love with Jeetendra, during her early days in Bollywood. During the late 80’s, she developed an intimate relationship with co-actor Mithun Chakraborty. The couple accepted their relationship after wedding photos of the couple were leaked. Soon, their marriage was nullified, with Mithun already married to Yogeeta Bali. Sridevi and Mithun Chakrabortyrelationship were called off in 1988.

sridevi personal life

Sridevi once again shifted her focus on her film career. She delivered back-to-back hits. Boney Kapoor, who became her future husband, produced most of Sridevi’s films at that time. He was so fond of Sridevi, that we even went to Tamil Nadu to see her during shootings. Reportedly, Boney and Sridevi fell in love on the movie sets over a period of time. Both had an intimate relationship before getting married.

Sridevi announced that she was expecting a baby even before she got married. They got married in 1996. Sridevi delivered a baby girl, Jahnavi Kapoor on 7th March 1997. The couple had another child, Kushi in 2000.

Death:

Sridevi breathed her last on 24thFebruary 2018, in a hotel room in Dubai. According to the family members of the actress, cardiac arrest was the cause of her death. Later, the Department of Preventive Medicine which conducted anautopsy, published the reason for the death as ‘accidental drowning’.

The term ‘accidental drowning’ became a subject of heated debates between media outlets for their TRPs. Nevertheless, the fact that Sridevi is no more is etched in time. The actress has reportedly breathed her last after she drowned in the bathtub.

sridevi death

The legendary actress mortal remains have been brought to Mumbai in a special flight on February 27th, 2018. The flight touched down at around 9:30 pm in Mumbai. Soon, after the completion of formalities (at the Cargo Terminal), mortal remains of Sridevi were taken to her Lokhandwala residence in Green Acres.

Sridevi’s body will be kept at the Celebration Sports Club for public homage, from 9:30 am to 12:30 pm on 28thFebruary 2018. Funeral will be performed at the Santa Cruz Crematorium (in Mumbai) at 3:30 pm on 28thFebruary 2018.

 Final words:

sridevi family

Sridevi has excelled in every character she played on the silver screen, and ever role she took up in her life. It is unfortunate to see someone like Sridevi, who lived 50 years on the silver screen, living just 54 years in real life.

Sridevi…. You will live in our hearts, as long as Indian cinema lives!

Why is this Lunar Eclipse so special?

Why is this Lunar Eclipse so special?

Posted [relativedate] at [relativetime time_format=”H:i”]

The whole world is going gaga over the ongoing lunar eclipse. But why this Lunar Eclipse is so special? Does it carry any uniqueness, unlike the previous ones? Yes, it does. But before we go further, this is completely in the context of science, rather than religion or belief. The ongoing lunar eclipse is a rare celestial event that is believed to be occurring only once in every 150 years.

What’s more shocking is that the lunar eclipse this time around, with have a blue moon, super moon, and blood moon. Yes, three space events will be taking place this time.

Generally, when we have a second full moon in the month, it is referred as a blue moon. Likewise, when the moon comes closers to earth, at its perigee, it appears 6% larger than it normally does.

Finally, a blood moon is the reddish appearance of the moon during a lunar eclipse. Though the earth completely covers the moon during a lunar eclipse, the light from the sun continues to pass on through the earth’s atmosphere to the moon. According to physics, the earth’s atmosphere scatters more blue photons than red. This causes the red photons to directly hit the moon, with blue photons scattering in all directions. This is why we see a reddish blood moon.

Anasuya, Rashmi Gautham, and Sreemukhi – Anchors or Skin-show mavens? Who is leading?

Anasuya, Rashmi Gautham, and Sreemukhi  Anchors or Skin-show mavens?

Posted [relativedate] at [relativetime time_format=”H:i”]

Previously, anchoring meant a special art. It demanded conversational skills, charm and sense of humour. In recent times, anchoring is largely limited to skin show. Be it Anasuya Bharadwaj, Rashmi Gautam or Sreemukhi, the three anchors have redefined the meaning of anchoring on the small screen. Frankly, it all started with Anasuya with the Jabardasth show.

 Anchors to Skin-show mavens!

Anasuya became the first anchor to showcase glamour even on a TV show. Soon, the show became unwatchable for children. Anasuya’s skin show and double meaning dialogues by contestants became the only promotional content for the comedy show.

Soon, Rashmi Gautam took over the show as an anchor, after Anasuya left the show citing personal reasons. Surprisingly, there was no gap between the demand and supply of glamour. Rashmi Gautam too did her best and was seen mostly in a skin-show friendly attire throughout many episodes. Things did go overboard at times. Searches for Rashmi Gautam and Anasuya mostly point out towards their dressing sense in the Jabardasth show.

Another top anchor currently trending is Sreemukhi. Though she did in a couple of movies, she did not get much recognition. She got all that she wanted from the small screen, if not from the silver screen. Sreemukhi has been labelled as a glamour girl, someone who doesn’t shy to reveal what she has in store. Likewise, rumours about her relationship with co-anchor Ravi only propelled her fan following in the public, especially among youth.

In recent times… and future!

It is true that Rashmi Gautam is slightly lagging behind Anasuya and Sreemukhi as far as social networking sites are concerned. Rashmi Gautam has 3,32,000+ followers, while Anasuya Bharadwaj has 5,86,000+ followers on Twitter. Sreemukhi leads the race with 6,37,000+ followers.  The biggest advantage Rashmi Gautam has over her contemporaries is that she has acted in more feature films than the both combined. This not only propels her film career but also makes her presence in the films more prominent.

Anasuya is able to grab some good offers in star movies like ‘Rangasthalam’ lately. But it is highly unlikely for the anchor-turned-actress to play the lead female role in a full-length feature film any time around. Though she claims to be 32-33 years old, film circles often look her as 35+ woman! It shouldn’t be surprising if Anasuya is limited to glamour roles and character roles in feature films.

Similarly, Sreemukhi’s future on silver screen looks bleak. She did manage to star in 5 Telugu movies in 2016. But since then, she has been desperately trying to be the lead actress. Her last film as a lead actress was in 2013 with ‘Prema Ishq Kaadhal’. The famous saying, ‘to make something special, it should be less visible’, clearly comes true in Sreemukhi’s case. The anchor believes that she is promoting herself by posing for back-to-back photo sessions. Little did she know, the more visible she is on the small screen, less is her chances to be a part of feature films. Given her extreme presence on social media, she isn’t anymore considered as a fresh face!

Sreemukhi on Small Screen, and Rashmi on Silver Screen!

Among these three; Anasuya Bharadwaj, Rashmi Gautam and Sreemukhi, Anasuya will fall behind in the race in the coming few years. There is no way for her to be the lead actress. Moreover, she has been offered roles that demand glamour quotient, than her acting. Frankly, she is only popular for her glamour in movies, besides her ‘glamour’ popularity on TV.

Sreemukhi’s fan following, and her presence on social networking sites, clearly hint her as the leading one on TV. Rashmi Gautam’s presence can be taken lightly, given the dominance of Sreemukhi and Anasuya.

Rashmi Gautam outclasses both Sreemukhi and Anasuya when it comes films. Even Rashmi Gautham is famous for her glamour and skin-show. But the actress did manage to grab some good offers in recent times. She can be the second fiddle to the heroines in movies.

Conclusion: From the times of Jhansi, Udayabhanu, and Suma, things have moved on to Anasuya, Sreemukhi and Rashmi Gautam. The first three were known for their anchoring skills, their ability to enthrall the audience and for their sense of humor. Likewise, the latter three are known for their skin-show, double meaning dialogues and over-the-board controversies!

Digital Rights – Dangerous than Piracy and Online Reviews to Tollywood

Digital Rights – Dangerous than Piracy and Online Reviews  to Tollywood

Posted [relativedate] at [relativetime time_format=”H:i”]

Introduction:

The 1990s – mid-2000s is the golden age of Telugu Film Industry (TFI) after the NTR – ANR – SVR era. Post the mid-2000s, say from 2005 onwards, Piracy became the nightmare of Telugu Film Industry. The producers, directors, and heroes had to come forward and requested the people to go to theatres to watch films and not on pirated movie CDs. Things did not end there. Towards 2010, internet suddenly expanded. From a mere 96 Kbps speed, users were able to access speeds over 1 Mbps. And even smartphones became cheaper, making videography a routine thing. This took digital piracy to an all new level. One could watch movies on few websites within a day of their release. With strict regulations in place in movie theatres and constant surveillance on websites, the digital piracy came down slightly. Adding to this comes the Digital Rights.

From the past couple of years, the producers are receiving handsome checks from video-streaming services like Amazon Prime Video and Yupp TV for the digital rights. Previously, the audience got to see a movie in these video streaming services after 3-4 months. Given the competition among these players, the moves are available even within a month now.

Classic Examples and the Future

The best example is MCA – Middle Class Abbayi, starring Nani, Sai Pallavi, and Bhumika Chawla. Even before one month since its release (on 21 December 2017), the movie became available on Amazon Prime Video. Even the Horror – comedy flick, ‘Raju Gari Gadhi – 2’ was available on Amazon Prime video within a month of its theatrical release

The impact of Digital Rights may not be imminent on the Telugu Film Industry. Surely with time, it is going to engulf the whole concept of movie watching experience in movie theatres. It will not be surprising if Web series’ completely overtake feature films in the coming future. This whole procedure can be broken into three phases:

  • Affect on Movie Theatres in Rural areas – Phase 1
  • Endangering the existence of Movie Theatres – Phase 2
  • Wiping out Telugu Film Industry – Phase 3

Affect on Movie Theatres in Rural areas

Even if the movie is available on online (legally), it may not bother the producer, who often pockets lump sum by selling theatrical rights, audio rights, satellite and digital rights. But the theatre owners are complaining about this situation. If the film fares well at the box-office and has some good content, one can expect good (crowd) turnouts until the 60th day of the film. The revenue earned from 4th week onwards directly goes to the distributor (or the cinema hall owner).

Even if the film fails at the box-office, the decent turnouts are expected, if the movie has their favorite hero or heroine. Someway or the other, the theatre owners and distributors ensure they get their back their investment at a minimal loss.

With the video streaming services like Amazon Prime Video, Yupp and even few YouTube Channels into play, the theatre owners (and distributors) are losing decent income. The owners of theatres in villages rural areas are victims of corroding window-ticket revenues. Insider sources say that if they’re a short span between the theatrical release and online streaming, the producer is expected to rake in more revenue during the contractual agreement with the video streaming service players.

A hit movie can have a run up to 175 days to 365 days in rural areas, depending on the crowd turnout. Similarly, even if the movie fails, the movie can still run for a minimum of 50 days in most of the cases.

The ‘digital rights’ might bring more cash in the producer’s account, but are definitely corroding the ticket-window sales in the case of orthodox movie theatres. Shockingly, MCA is still running decently (and strongly) in few regions, and faring better than Sankranti releases like Agnyaathavaasi and Jai Simha.

Endangering the existence Movie Theatres

So how does this endanger the existence of movie theatres in Tier-III cities, Tier-II cities and metropolitan cities? This is a common question in everyone’s mind. But the answer lies in the mere fact that, faster you get to see a movie on online, less is its life on the silver screen. Amazon Inc. finds India as the most lucrative market for retail and video streaming business. Additionally, other big-time players are eyeing the Indian market. With Venture Capitalists pumping in millions of dollars in this industry, digital rights are likely to fetch more than theatrical rights in the near future.

Digital rights have their own edge of conventional theatres. Apart from enjoying the movie from the comfort of your home, we can get to watch our favorite star’s film the day it releases. One need not scramble for last-minute tickets, or end up paying astronomical prices for premier show tickets.

‘Digital Rights’ Benefits to Producers – Free from ‘Piracy’ and ‘Reviews’

Moreover, the concept of digital rights completely eliminates various middlemen like buyers, distributors and theatre owners. All the producer needs to do is to agree for a common price with the video streaming service. The question of low-price for a theatrical release in particular regions will no more exist in the film industry. It completely becomes the service provider’s responsibility, once the producer transfers digital rights, in handling issue of piracy. Additionally, the problem of ‘reviews’ also hardly impact the producer’s pocket. The producer need not spend large chunks of money for promoting the film on various platforms like electronic media and social media and carry out promotional events.

Digital Rights – A Boon to Small-time Filmmakers

Digital rights are certainly a blessing to small-time filmmakers, who often invest their hard-earned money into filmmaking. Film reels from these small filmmakers often end up stacking up in the color labs, with hardly any theatres coming forward to exhibit their film. The concept of Digital Rights also increases competition between films, irrespective of the star cast.

With time, the digital video streaming services will completely overtake movie theatres, bringing more profits to the producer, and fewer hassles of watching a film to the audience.

Wiping out Telugu Film Industry

So, how can digital rights be responsible for wiping out Telugu film industry? In recent times, many actors and directors are turning towards other forms of filmmaking, like web series’ and short films. If the video streaming services promise a hefty payment to individual filmmakers, then what is the need for someone to come up with a feature film? In comparison to a feature film, the stakes on a web-series are much lower. Even if an episode in the web-series backfires, the filmmaker still has an opportunity to come up with something better in the forthcoming episode. That is not the case with a feature film. It is extremely difficult to keep the audience engaged for in the case of a 2hr feature film. But it is much easier to keep the audience engaged for a 45min – 60min episode of a web-series.

Pay Scale and Production Flexibility

Similarly, the pay scale of an actor is directly dependent on the episode’s success. That is not the case in the film industry. If a given actor manages to shine in big-budget movies, along with star cast, only then his remuneration can be as expected. If not, he might have to struggle to get what he deserves. In the case of web-series, an actor’s pay can highly fluctuate throughout the series. The actor can expect a hike in his pay, if he brings in uniqueness to his character, by coming up with different mannerism and attitude.

Casting Flexibility

In general, it takes a couple of weeks to decide the cast for a future film. Additionally, it can even take a month to two months, to eventually finalize the shooting schedules of a movie. Many films don’t go beyond the casting stage, given the tedious nature of the job. A web-series usually has a principal cast of 4 to 6 actors. Rest of the cast usually works on a weekly basis. This gives the production manager and the director a great extent of freedom.

Conclusion:

The experience of watching a movie in-house!

Watching a film in the home, with home theatre arrangement might be great, given the comfort of your home. But one would miss the sheer experience of watching the film on a large screen, with hundreds of spectators lost in the magic of a great movie. We don’t say, every film deserves a watch on the silver screen. But surely, a small screen, particularly the size of a QHD TV, and a home theatre is definitely to not sufficient to experience and witness magic and creativity of a filmmaker.

Just imagine how you feel watching a science fiction movie with a mid-range audio system? With a screen that extends more than your arm’s length? An experience where you find yourself all alone in your room, or with your family? You need many alongside you, to really feel the experience of a great moment.

People’s lives and Telugu Film Industry at stake!

Similarly, theatre owners, especially in the rural areas can sell-off their properties to make some money. Instead of that, they bear the risk of exhibiting a film, so that the common people can watch. Where will the people living in a village watch the movie, if the local theatre stops exhibiting them? Will they spend Rs 400 on traveling, and Rs 100 for the movie ticket in the nearby town? Definitely not. Whether loss or profits, the theatre owners bear. They sell their lives for cinema.

The way multiplexes run in the cities might be different. But at the end of the day, their existence solely depends upon the film’s performance. If a given multiplex suffers from back-to-back losses with low crowd-turnouts, the multiplex might shut down, given the high running costs.

At the end of the day, digital rights bring the luxury of watching a film from home on its first day. But beyond a certain limit, with producers opting to bank on digital rights, the future of Telugu Film Industry is surely dubious.

Shockingly, one can catch up with rich kids in pubs, that often run into morning wee hours. Yet, the parents of these kids behave as if they are unaware, and still back them.

The rate at which marriages are heading towards divorce is quite alarming in India. In the west, it is on a downward trend. Truth behind Pawan Kalyan – Poonam Kaur combined Puja!

Truth behind Pawan Kalyan and Poonam Kaur Puja

Posted [relativedate] at [relativetime time_format=”H:i”]

We have seen a well-known film critic bashing and lashing out Power star Pawan Kalyan and heroine Poonam Kaur, and alleging they both are having an illicit relation. No wonder, people have stooped to that level for publicity and attention. Even the media channels are to be blamed, who claim they are for the society but only indulge in promoting anti-social elements.

Coming to the Pawan Kalyan – Poonam Kaur special pujas topic, we came to know that it is indeed true. Yes, it is true that Poonam Kaur did participate in special pujas, but they were not only a personal level, only at a professional level.

It is during the pre-production stages for the film ‘Jalsa’ (2008). Poonam Kaur was initially a part of the film, playing the role of sister to Ileana d’ Cruz in the film. Pawan Kalyan hardly had any blockbuster hits after Kushi, which released in 2001. The hero was eagerly waiting for a blockbuster, to come back into form. And moreover, this is the first Trivikram collaborated with Pawan Kalyan. Taking all these into consideration, the film’s unit carried out some special puja’s for the success of the film.

Later, due to some unknown reasons, Poonam Kaur was replaced by Kamalini Mukherjea, who rejected many films hoping that she would be a part of the film ‘Jalsa’. All of a sudden, what seemed to be a bright career in Tollywood, became shallow waters for Poonam Kaur. She held Trivikram responsible for the last minute change in the movie’s casting. She committed suicide after she failed to bag any offers.

Pawan Kalyan got to know what happened behind the screen and rushed to meet Poonam Kaur who was admitted to the hospital. He later spoke to Poonam’s mother and assured that he would try to put her career back on track. Holding himself partially responsible for the mishap, Pawan Kalyan paid Poonam’s hospital bills and ensured that she is safe in her mother’s hands before he left the premises.

Cutting the scene to September 11th, 2017, Poonam Kaur was announced as the brand ambassador for ‘Handloom Industry’ in Andhra Pradesh. It was understood that Pawan Kalyan who promised Poonam Kaur in the past about a promising future, suggested her name to the AP CM Chandrababu, who went into 2014 election with Pawan Kalyan’s support.

This article absolutely answers every question put up by the respective film critic. The same can be expressed by Poonam Kaur, but it would foolish. Such act can encourage others to start putting such questions to other heroines and celebrities. Expecting anyone to react to foolish questions, is just stupidity and cheap way to be in the limelight.

Everyone reading this article should judge for themselves, what Pawan Kalyan did is wrong or right at a moral level.

The mystery of Cobra doing Archana for Shiva Lingam:

It is the biggest mystery so far about the Cobra doing Archana to Lord Shiva. But thousands are an eyewitness to this beautiful miracle that took place in the year 2010, on January 16th. The priest present then explained, “I saw it here right over here, it came and started doing the Archana during the Solar Eclipse time to wash off its sins”.

At the Theperumannalur Shiva Temple, devotees in large numbers who witnessed the miracle of a Cobra doing Archana for Shiva Lingam with Bilva leaves are awestruck by the whole incident, unable to explain what they saw except chanting the Lord’s name, “Om Namah Shivaya”!

Having discussed earlier also, the temple’s main deities are Vedhanthanayagi (Shakthi) with Viswanathaswamy (Shiva). It is been customary to do Archana only with Rudrakshas. People along with the priest, Sivachariar Satish of the Temple, shared that they noticed a cobra entering the temple and lying on top of the Shiva Linga since yesterday morning, just minutes before the Solar Eclipse started, at around 10:30 am.

Later the Snake slowly descended from the Lingam and went towards Bilwam tree which is Sthala Vrikshum – Holy tree of the temple. It climbed the tree and picked a Bilwam leaf and returned back to Shiva Sannidhi.thepperumanallur shiva temple miracles and significance

The priest also shared that they all noticed the snake hissed at every devotee that tried to go near it. It again climbed onto the Shiva Linga and opened its hood only to drop the bilwam leaf on Lord Shiva. The priest tried to explain it further, it is an act of devotion towards its favorite god on the Solar Eclipse day to wash off its sins.

One cannot say much about the mystery but the miracle was witnessed by the excited devotees. The cobra did not stop at that, it repeated it again and again for few times.

Once the news spread, in and around the village, hundreds of villagers rushed to the temple to have the magnificent and glorious Darshan of Lord Shiva with Cobra lying above him.

If not similar, but many instances involving the shrine of the god are been seen around the globe. In the state of Andhra Pradesh, Sri Veera Brahmendra Swamy’s Kala Gnanam also consisted of many such predictions. And interestingly many have come true. India is undoubtedly a land of mysteries and surprises. In places like Kasi, there exists a Siva temple at the end of every corner, waiting for us to be discovered. Many of the temples go unnoticed. While in Rajasthan, the Balaji Temple is known to cure anyone possessed by evil spirits or demons.

It is also important to remember few recent incidents that clearly tells us the presence of ‘divine’ spirit. The 2013 Uttarakhand floods had a devastating impact in and around Kedarnath. But astonishingly, everyone who stayed inside the Kedarnath temple was not harmed and even the Nandi and other idols located in the temple remained unmoved and untouched despite that heavy calamity surrounding it. While the science community was shocked, people who had faith in God and in his miracles thanked the Almighty for saving them.

We all hear such mysteries and miracles all the time, but seeing it really would be astounding to all those present. Let us try once in our lifetime to move our steps towards this powerful and divine temple in Thepperumanallur.thepperumanallur shiva temple miracles and significance

Once upon a time, a native of the Lambian Village, which is most famous for its mangoes, was a staunch and faithful devotee of the great Guru Arjan Dev Ji. His name was Bhai Kuram Singh. One day, he visited Amritsar traveling all the way from his village just to have a glimpse of the great Guru.gurudwara amb sahib

It was the season for mangoes and all those devotees who came to pay their respects to him gave mangoes as offering to the Guru. These fruits were again distributed back to devotees as prasadam. Kuram Singh was noticing all this, felt very shameful of himself for coming empty-handed and was sadder for this fact that he did not bring mangoes to the Guru as an offering in spite of coming from the land of mangoes. At that minute, an idea struck him, he decided to give away the mango as offering that he received as prasadam to the Guru.

When the Guru noticed this, he questioned Kuram Singh as to why he offered the mango that he got as prasadam. Kuram Singh replied that since he had not got anything else to offer him, he decided to offer his Prasadam itself. Guru got amazed at what he heard and just looked at Kuram Singh and ordered him to eat the fruit himself and he will accept is offering on another day.

In the month of ’Poh’ (In Punjabi, itis the 10th month in the Nanakshahi calendar, which directs the activities within Sikhism. This month coincides with December and January in the Gregorian and Julian calendars and is 30 days long), during the year 1659, the Guru came all the way to Chandigarh to Kurukshetra only to meet his devotee Kuram Singh. When the Guru came to visit him, Kuram was sitting under a mango tree meditating. This month of ‘Poh’, was not the seasons for mangoes to grow. On seeing his Guru, Kuram worshipped him with both hands. At that point of time, the Guru asked him for a mango as per their previous agreement. On hearing this, Kuram became nervous and replied anxiously that it was not a mango bearing season/month and he is helpless to offer the Guru any mangoes as promised. The Guru looked kind and smiled at Kuram and asked him to look up. To his utter shock, Kuram saw that the tree was full of ripe mangoes. He bowed to touch the feet of the great Guru, in amazement. He was more than happy to pluck mangoes and offered him. The guru directed him to offer the mangoes to the Sangat (devotees). Obeying his Guru’s orders Bhai Kuram served mangoes to the Holy Guru and the whole Sangat. (The company of Holy people who are only dedicated to Waheguru and who aspire to the concept of Dharma and liberation).

Even till date, this blessed tree can be found producing mangoes throughout the year at all seasons. This particularly glees and excites the devotees to a great length.
