It is a welcome move for the people, and the government to get inspired by a movie, and do a good thing for the society. After watching the film ‘Srimanthudu’ directed by Koratala Siva starring Mahesh Babu, many business magnets, politicians, and celebrities adopted rural villages and worked for their development.

But the latest development among the political circles is shocking everyone. Already there is an ongoing rage after Central Government gave permission for Dalmia Group to adopt Red Fort. Adding to this two private behemoths expressed their willingness to the ‘Adoption Committee’ under the Archeological Survey of India department.

GMR Sports Private Limited (owner of Delhi Daredevils IPL Franchise), and a subsidiary of the GMR Group wrote a letter, expressing its interesting in adopting Golconda Fort in Hyderabad. Similarly, ITC wrote a letter expressing its interest in adopting the iconic Charminar in Hyderabad.

While the Dalmia Group who also expressed its interest in adopting Golconda Fort believes that it will be given the opportunity over other competitors. On the contrary, many historians believe that the adoption of these heritage sites by the private companies will soon turn them into business hubs, damaging their reputation as a heritage icon.

Vishakhapatnam MLA and BJP leader Vishnu Kumar Raju said that TDP will be losing in the 2019 elections for sure. The BJP leader came down hard at Chandrababu Naidu and took a sarcastic dig.

Speaking in the BJP party office to reporters, Vishnu Kumar Raju said that Chandrababu Naidu is following the footsteps of YS Jagan. ‘If you carefully observe, Chandrababu is doing what exactly YS Jagan is doing. The fact is that Chandrababu’s & TDP’s graph in Andhra Pradesh is on downtrend. It is impossible for the TDP to win in the upcoming 2019 AP Assembly elections’, said the BJP MLA.

He also spoke about the special category status and alleged that Chandrababu is lying to the people. He added stating that ‘Chandrababu Naidu is falsely claiming that Special Category Status is given to other states. The Centre has not granted SCS to any state in the nation. It would be better if Chandrababu can put some sense while talking in the media. We will not sit quiet, and let him pass baseless allegation on PM Modi and BJP party’.

Adding to this, in the state cabinet meeting chaired by Chandrababu Naidu, key decisions have been taken. Preparedness of the respective departments for the upcoming Kharif season, and measures to be taken for the prevention of crop failure during the summer have also been taken.

Though no strong stance is taken on the issue, a close source confirmed that TDP will be formulating the ways to at least make sure the state gets its benefits from the Centre. The recent havoc created by rains in the past two days in Vishakhapatnam is also a part of the meeting’s agenda.

In a shocking verdict, Mumbai Special Court has sentenced Mafic Don Chota Rajan, and 7 others to life imprisonment. The verdict is related to the murder case of famous journalist JD, aka Jyotirmoy Dey. It was on June 11, 2011, Jyotirmoy Dey was brutally murdered. Police found out that, it was at the behest of Chota Rajan, the shooting has been carried out on JD.

The CBI filed an additional charge sheet regarding the murder of JD on August 5th, 2016. Mumbai Police filed the first charge sheet on the muder on December 3, 2011; literally 6 months after the murder. In his statement to the CBI, Chota Rajan revealed some astonishing facts. ‘When I read articles stating that my gang is becoming weak, I’m ill, and my loyal people have left, etc., I felt that JD was working for the D-Gang (Dawood Gang).

I even requested him politely on the phone whether he had any enmity towards me. He continued to write further. Though I don’t have any concrete evidence regarding that, his writings made me feel so’, said Chota Rajan. JD’s last article on Chota Rajan was; ‘Rajan gangsters off to pilgrimages’ on June 2, 2011; 9 days before his murder took place.

The Medical Council of India has finally passed the orders for the establishment of a new medical college in Siddipet, Telangana. The latest move comes as a good news for the medical students in Telangana. The Siddipet Medical College is granted 150 seats. Lakshmi Reddy, Minister for Healthy, Telangana Government has thanked CM KCR and the MCI in this context.

The MCI also renewed 150 seats for the 3rd batch in Mahbubnagar, and 100 seats in the Nizamabad Medical College. The MCI has recommended the new 150-seat Siddipet Medical College to be located in the Warangal Kaloji Narayana Rao University of Health Sciences, to the Central Government under Section 10A Indian Medical Council Act 1956.

It is just a formality for the Centre to grant the permission for the Siddipet Medical College. At a time when the demand for doctors is surging high, the latest development is definitely a much welcome news, both for the society, and the medical students.

The 158 kilometers Outer Ring Road in Hyderabad has come into complete accessibility. It has been 12 years since the construction works of the ORR have begun. KTR who came to inaugurate the Chintalkunta Underpass near LB Nagar, along with other minister spoke on the development works undertaken by Hyderabad Metro Rail.

‘CM KCR will inaugurate the LB Nagar metro rail segment in two months from now. At the same time, we will also finish the segment connecting LB Nagar and Nagole. In the future, we will be extending the metro services to the Rajiv Gandhi International Airport, Shamshabad via Falaknuma’, said KTR.

KTR said that the government is taking measures to overcome the traffic crisis in the city. ‘The groundwork for Express Highway over Musi River is in progress. At the same time, we are also working on improving the water bodies in the city. Out of the 185 lakes, the government has identified 40 lakes. We will soon make them available for recreational purposes, and for other purposes’, concluded KTR.

Condemning Tollywood Film Industry’s decision, the media sections have stood united.

Speaking at the Hyderabad Press Club, a senior media personnel said, ‘we severely condemn the criticism towards the media personnel by the film industry bigwigs. They are creating a new controversy to sidetrack the Casting Couch issue.

It is nothing but hypocrisy on their part to pass allegations on the media without solving the problems of female artists in the industry. I would like to ask a simple question. Are they from the film industry? Or, are they caste leaders? They have to clarify this first’.

‘By attacking the media, and making baseless allegations, they once again exposed their shallow minds. If they intend to control the media, just because they want to escape from the Casting Couch allegations, and other allegations on them, they should be prepared to face dire consequences’, said a senior journalist from TV9 in the press club meeting.The electronic media journalists have comes to a consensus and made an agreement in this regard.

Usually, political leaders and film celebrities enjoy a huge fan following in their respective states. Few of them even enjoy the ‘National Celebrity’ status. But when these leaders and film actors go abroad for shooting, or for any other purpose, they are hardly recognized. Until and unless you are some PM, or Amitabh Bachchan, people usually don’t notice you in abroad.

But shockingly, Telangana CM KCR had one such bitter experience. What’s more shocking is that it happened during his official tour in Tamil Nadu. The Telangana CM who is one his Tamil Nadu tour, trying to gather support for his ‘Federal Front’, went and met former Tamil Nadu CM, Karunanidhi.

The former Chief Minister has been suffering from various ailments and is under complete observation. He has even lost his memory. Karunanidhi’s son and DMK president Stalin tried to introduce KCR to Karunanidhi. But the 93-year-old failed to recognize. After the operation to his windpipe, Karunanidhi has not been able to talk.Later in the day, after visiting Karunanidhi, KCR met Kanimozhli and explained about the Federal Front proposal to key DMK leaders.
