A shocking incident came to light after a family complained that their daughter is married to another woman. Going into the details, Mounika (20) and Ramadevi (18) are working in a local textile mill in Pulivendhula, YSR Kadapa district. They both have been staying in the same house for past few months. Soon their friendship developed into love, and reportedly both the women got married in a secret marriage.

Post that, Ramadevi started to get ready in a male attire. Given her boyish looks and short hair, it is easy for anyone to mistake her for a man. On account of Christmas, Mounika visited her family in her village. Mounika’s parents noted that their daughter has been repeatedly taking the name of ‘Ramadevi’ and stated, she cannot live with Ramadevi.

Getting worried about their daughter’s state, Mounika’s parents immediately brought the matter to police notice. The police officials were shocked when they came to know that Mounika and Ramadevi got married.

The police said, ‘In our investigation, we found out that Ramadevi married two women in the past. This is the third marriage [with Mounika] for Ramadevi. We counselled both the women. Ramadevi is admitted to the hospital after she stopped eating for the past few days. We will take action very soon.’

The incident once again sheds light on ‘same-gender marriages’ in Indian society.

The Indian Army took its revenge after the Pakistan soldiers killed four Indian soldiers including a Major. The Indian border security forces took the Pakistani troops by surprise with the cross-border strike. Shockingly, the Indian Army trespassed the line of control and entered Pakistan Occupied Kashmir.

The Pakistan government officials have confirmed the deaths of its soldiers but denied any involvement of their troops in the killing of four Indian soldiers. A group of small infantry battalion was deployed in the Poonch sector by the Indian army. The Pakistani troops on realizing the trespassing of Indian troops started marching towards the line of control. They [Pakistani Troops] were stunned after the IED exploded. It took a while before they recovered.

The Indian troops opened a barrage of fire at the looming Pakistani troops. 3 Pakistani soldier suffered an instant death, while another Pakistani soldier succumbed to injuries. The Pakistani soldiers belonged to the 59th Baloch Regiment.

Interestingly, the Indian Infantry Battalion troop informed the headquarters before carrying out the strike. The headquarters replied them asking ‘do it swiftly as Pakistan would not be expecting a retaliation this soon from our side.’

The Indian troop’s strike was appreciated by every citizen of the nation.

After Hyderabad Metro Rail was officially launched for public commuters, everyone celebrated it as a great festival. The commuters, especially travelling by TSRTC Buses and personal two-wheelers vehicles thought that travelling in the metro would greatly reduce their travelling time. Even before a month, commuters started complaining about the metro services.

Commuters stated that metro is failing to serve its main purpose of reducing time. ‘Metro trains are scheduled to stop for 20 seconds at every metro station. Instead, they are halting for more than a minute. At times even 5 minutes,’ said a commuter.

This is troubling the commuters. It is also motivating them to look at other alternatives, TSRTC buses and personal vehicles. Recently, a metro train stopped at the Begumpet station for 7 minutes. The trains have been even stopping in the midway for reasons unknown (to the commuters). The commuters are forced to travel in the metro, irrespective of the delays, once they purchase the ticket.

The commuters also complained about the span of ‘train interchange time’ at Ameerpet station. Due to the delay, many commuters nagged about missing other trains. Even after waiting 15 minutes due to the interchange, the trains run behind the clock.

What thought to be a comfortable air-conditioned travel, reducing the travel time, turned to be a nightmare for many commuters.

Anil Ambani’s Reliance Communications (or simply RCom) is currently in a deep financial crunch. The company is forced to sell its possessions and holdings to stay afloat. This has been continuing for the past couple of years.

The latest news is that Anil Ambani had finally come out with a plan to clear its long-standing debts to national and international investors. The company loans stood out at Rs. 45,000 crores. RCom has borrowed Rs. 25,000 crores from Indian financiers and 20,000 crores from foreign financiers. RCom has borrowed Rs. 11,500 crores alone from a Chinese firm.

Anil Ambani stated that he is planning to sell the spectrum rights, cell towers and even Dhirubhai Knowledge city along with other realty properties to accumulate close to Rs. 40,000 crores. It is understood that Anil Ambani moves comes after 35 National and International banks wanted to takeover RCom assets.

Anil Ambani believes that post the ‘Debt Recovery plan’ the company would only be having Rs. 6,000 crores debt. ‘We are planning to change the company to B2B – Business to Business format. This not only allows us to concentrate on providing services,’ said Anil Ambani.

The Debt Recovery Plan will be implemented in an 8-stage process and will be completed in 40 days. After the news, Reliance Communications share price improved by 31.90% and closed at Rs. 21.50 at the NSE.

After Dinakaran won the elections, many political leaders from the ruling AIADMK party visited his residence and congratulated him. It is also heard that 30 MLAs currently supporting the Palani Swami and Panneer Selvam group, are planning to support Dinakaran (and Sasikala) from hereon.

Kalburgi is the most drought-affected district in the state of Karnataka. Local farmers are committing suicides due to lack of ‘minimum price support’. Yes, you heard me right. A 5-star hotel in Space is indeed coming up. The tourism sector is crossing all its limitations and crawling towards space tourism. Russian Space Agency (Roscosmos State Corporation for Space Activities) is planning huge. It has made plans to build a 20-ton, 51- foot long luxury hotel module on the International Space Station (ISS) with facilities like sleeping quarters, hygiene and medical stations, a lounge area, exercise equipment and Wi-Fi.

The cost estimated for construction of this luxury hotel would be around $279 million-$ 446 million which is around Rs.18, 000 crores to Rs.28, 000 crores. A passenger will have to pay $ 40 million (Rs.256 crores) for a 2-week stay at the space hotel. A month-long stay and spacewalk will be costing around $20 million (Rs.128 crores). The passengers can watch the Earth too, take selfies and they can walk on the satellite as well.

The Russian Space Agency is aiming to send the passengers to the space hotel within a span of two years from now. Common space enthusiasts who are interested and also have money can plan the visit now itself.

The Chinese authorities have also stated that the land available for construction will not exceed the limit of 3,200 sq.km. According to the master plan, the authorities said they would intensify the efforts in preserving historic sites and the environment.

In a recent technological demonstration, Russian scientists demonstrated a unique breathing technology. The Russian scientists have developed an oxygen-containing liquid, which makes underwater breathing possible. The technology was demonstrated by Russia’s Deputy PM Dmitry Rogozin during the visit of Serbian President Alexander in Moscow.

In a video posted on a Russian website, a dog [dachshund] named Nikolas was put into the oxygen-containing liquid. The dog initially wriggled to free himself. But after the liquid got into his lungs, the dog relatively calmed down and started breathing. It was taken out after few seconds by the researchers. In the 81 kg category in the 1994 Hiroshima Asiad, Lakha Singh won a bronze medal but now is leading a life of Taxi driver in Ludhiana. Not only Lakha Singh, many other champions who won medals for the country at the International platform are now doing all odd jobs today to meet their ends.

In the 90’s, Lakha Singh was India’s only ray of hope for medals in the field of Boxing. He was also a five-time National Champion. He won bronze in the year 1994 Asian Boxing Championship in Tehran and also bagged silver at 1995 Asian Boxing Championship in Tashkent.

But Lakha couldn’t reach the expectations in 1996 Atlanta Olympics and only could finish 17th in the 91 kg category.

Nobody till date bothered by the letters he had written to Indian Amateur Boxing Federation (IABF) and Punjab Government explaining his financial position. There are no takers for his story and him out of no other go, ended up becoming a taxi driver, the job which earns him a monthly salary of Rs.8000. Even the taxi he rides is not owned by him.

Shocking to know, that Lakha Singh joined the Indian Army in the year 1984 when he was just 19 years old during anti-Sikh riots.

Telugu people from 42 nations came to Hyderabad to attend the World Telugu Conference which is organized by the Telangana Government at the LB Stadium in Hyderabad. So, how much did the government spent for this prestigious event that lasted for 5 days?

Authorities informed K Chandrasekhar Rao that Prapancha Telugu Mahasabhalu would put a burden of Rs.50 crore on the State Exchequer. While, Telangana CM, KCR stated the view that a conference lasting for five days is going to cost much higher.

Seeing the foresightedness of KCR, the officials realized, while tallying the total expenditure incurred on the World Telugu Conference. The expenditure touched Rs.80 crore mark, Rs.30 crore extra to the estimates given by them.

According to the sources, for Global Entrepreneurship Summit 2017, anywhere around Rs. 500 crores was spent by the Government. Rs. 100 crore was sanctioned for roads and beautification itself. In that case, Rs.80 crore for Telugu Mahasabhalu is not a big deal for TRS Government.

Queen of controversies is back with a bang. The actress is well-known by all on how to make headlines just by her statements.

We all know, recently she announced in a press release about launching her own condom brand. Did you hear that? Yes, you are reading all right here, the actress indeed came up with her own condom brand. And now for promoting her condom brand, the actress became a bit over excited and gave a statement that she wishes the newlywed couple Virat and Anushka to be the first couple to ‘experience’ it.

Not stopping at that, she said, that she wants to gift them her condoms to play safe and she also wanted them to share their feedback on the product after experiencing it. In her own words “I feel my condoms are special, they are the first in the market to give so many flavors”.

Already these statements of her are so embarrassing, she did not stop there, and she targeted Baba Ramdev to come up with a condom brand for his product line, all because she wanted a worthy competitor.

She at her best shameless avatar, recently uploaded a video on Instagram, with her seducing voice in which she revealed her favorite Condom Flavor, which is Oudh, Paan, and Chocolate.

Metro Rail Covers 25 lakhs in 26 days

Hyderabad Metro Rail was inaugurated by Prime Minister Narendra Modi on November 29th this year. If checked, on an average, the metro rail is arriving at every station in around 10 minutes. But still one could see, heavy rush from morning till night.

As per L&T, 25 lakhs passengers travelled in Hyderabad Metro Rail in the first 26 days. As per information, around 1 lakh passengers must have commuted during weekdays, and the count has surpassed the 1 lakh mark on weekends. On this Sunday, a total of 1.25 lakh people travelled in the Hyderabad Metro Rail.

Regarding the speed of the Metro Rail, many complaints have been made by the Passengers who travelled in it. It is estimated that a distance of 27.6 km is covered in 1 hour time. While the Metro Rail Management informed the reason for the low speed of the Metro is due to few technical issues.

The Metro Rail authorities have given assurance that the rail will run at a speed of 60 km per hour once the technical issues are resolved.

Overall, if we can see there is a lot of craze among the common public to travel in the Metro Rail. While few like to go on Jolly rides taking selfies with their families, while few others are excited to enjoy the speed of the Train.

This weekend, more commuters are expected to board due to many public holidays and winter vacations for schools.

The Department of Homeland Security has come up with much more tougher norms relating to H-1B. This is definitely not an appealing news to all those Indian software professionals who intend or wish to stay or live in the US.

According to International Immigration firm Fragomen, Department of Homeland Security is considering to revive 2011 proposal which endorses H-1B petitioners to preregister for the H-1B cap lottery. The US government will look into the issue of H-1B cap numbers and issue, giving priority to the highly skilled and highly paid professionals. Shockingly, the spouses or the partners of the H-1B visa holders are not going to be allowed to work in the US anymore. It is important to note, that the count of cases seeking evidence to qualify for H-1B visas has doubled to 41percent.

Everyone believes that these changes are surely going to have a drastic impact on the Indian IT Companies which hold largest users of H-1B Visas and Non-Immigrant Visas. It looks like Trump decisions will make future of these IT Industry people’s life really difficult.
