ACB To Probe Case Against YSRC MLA Kotamreddy

In a twist of the turn of events, a case has been booked against YSRCP MLA Kotamreddy for his involvement in cricket booking, said police sources. Kotamreddy Sridhar Reddy has been elected to the AP Assembly from Nellore district.

A special investigation report pertaining to Kotamreddy’s involvement in cricket betting has been submitted to AP DGP Malakondayya by Nellore SP Ramakrishna. The AP DGP has transferred the case to ACB along with the investigation report. This isn’t the first time Kotamreddy Sridhar Reddy’s name has been heard in the cricket betting cases.

The police managed to find crucial evidence of Kotamreddy meeting famous bookie Krishna Singh in few hotels in Vijayawada. The related CCTV footage, hotel bills, and other preliminary evidence against the MLA has been well documented by the police bosses.

‘During our investigation, we found out that Krishna Singh took asylum under Kotamreddy after a lookout notice was issued against him. Kotamreddy was handed over Rs 23 lakhs via an individual named Vishnuvardhan Reddy after he helped Krishna Singh to surrender in the court’, said a police officer. With elections in a year, MLA Kotamreddy’s arrest could be a big blow to the YSRCP party in the Nellore district.

Sensitive data of over 2.7 crores employees has been put at stake after the EPF web portal has been hacked. What’s more shocking is that Commissioner for Central Provident Fund has informed the Ministry for Communication regarding the data leak.

In a special letter written by the Intelligence Bureau Commissioner, titled ‘secret’, it is stated that poor security features and loopholes in the website’s coding have been the reason the data leak. Authorities have discovered that the data has been hacked in March 2018, after the employees were asked to link their Aadhaar Card to their accounts. The website has gone down since the news broke out.

Meanwhile, the EPFO issued a press release claiming that no data leak took place, and news about it is fake. ‘The news pertaining to the data leak from EPF web portal is false. We have shut down the site to complete the process of linking Aadhaar with the individuals’ accounts. The site is currently under maintenance, and will function much faster, with improved security once it is up and running’, read the press release.

‘In an attempt to make the website more user-friendly and attract, and user experience easier, we are upgrading the IRCTC website. Which means, all the online services like ticket booking, ticket cancellation, filing TDR, and other transactions will remain closed during the 6-hour closed period. Even IRCTC rail apps services will also remain blocked.

Even the 24×7 call center services, 139 Enquiry services, and IVRS Touch Screen services in all the railway stations will also remain closed. The verdict is related to the murder case of famous journalist JD, aka Jyotirmoy Dey. It was on June 11, 2011, Jyotirmoy Dey was brutally murdered. Police found out that, it was at the behest of Chota Rajan, the shooting has been carried out on JD.

The CBI filed an additional charge sheet regarding the murder of JD on August 5th, 2016. Mumbai Police filed the first charge sheet on the muder on December 3, 2011; literally 6 months after the murder. In his statement to the CBI, Chota Rajan revealed some astonishing facts. ‘When I read articles stating that my gang is becoming weak, I’m ill, and my loyal people have left, etc., I felt that JD was working for the D-Gang (Dawood Gang).

I even requested him politely on the phone whether he had any enmity towards me. He continued to write further. Though I don’t have any concrete evidence regarding that, his writings made me feel so’, said Chota Rajan. JD’s last article on Chota Rajan was; ‘Rajan gangsters off to pilgrimages’ on June 2, 2011; 9 days before his murder took place.

The MCI also renewed 150 seats for the 3rd batch in Mahbubnagar, and 100 seats in the Nizamabad Medical College. The MCI has recommended the new 150-seat Siddipet Medical College to be located in the Warangal Kaloji Narayana Rao University of Health Sciences, to the Central Government under Section 10A Indian Medical Council Act 1956.

KTR said that the government is taking measures to overcome the traffic crisis in the city. ‘The groundwork for Express Highway over Musi River is in progress. At the same time, we are also working on improving the water bodies in the city. Out of the 185 lakes, the government has identified 40 lakes. Vijayawada: The results of the Engineering, Agriculture and Medical Common Entrance Test (EAMCET) will be declared tomorrow i.e. May 2, 2018, at 12 noon. The Human ResourceDevelopment (HRD) Minister of Andhra Pradesh, Ganta Srinivasa Rao will announce the EAMCET results 2018.

The AP EAMCET is conducted by Jawaharlal Nehru Technological University (JNTU) Kakinada on behalf of Andhra Pradesh State Council of Higher Education (APSCHE). This examination is the gateway for entry into various professional courses offered in Government and Private Colleges of Andhra Pradesh.

The AP EAMCET Examination (Engineering) was conducted between April 22 to April 25, whereas, the AP EAMCET Examination (Agriculture) were conducted on 25.04.2018 & 26.04.2018 respectively.
