It looks like YSRCP Chief, YS Jagan has forgotten he is a political leader and it is his social responsibility to be well-mannered to the public. Though one party leader can have stark differences with another party leader, one shouldn’t profane words.
Jagan said ‘We need to shoot Chandrababu Naidu in the middle of the road for not fulfilling the promises he made’ during the Nandyala Election campaign. Even after the YSRCP leader saw a shocking defeat, it looks like he hasn’t learned his lesson yet.
In a fresh incident, Jagan accused Chandrababu of horse trading. He said, ‘Chandrababu is purchasing MLAs like buying a Sounder of Swine (pigs)’. Jagan might have forgotten who started the horse trading. It was YS Rajasekhar Reddy who started all this after he came to power in 2004. He was involved in horse trading of TRS and TDP MLAs on a large scale.
Similarly, while venting out his frustration, he alleged that ‘Chandrababu is scared that Modi might put him behind bars (bokka lo pedatharu) if he raises his voice about the AP Special Status once more’.
There are leaders in TDP who can last out using more profane language than YS Jagan. And moreover, no one is in a position to learn from someone who is coming back from jail.

The Parliamentary Panel slated to hear the version of Sanjay Leela Bhansali over the film ‘Padmavathi’, has reportedly lashed out at the director. The panel of members condemned the director for screening the film to media representatives even before it was certified by the CBFC. ‘You have clearly disrespected the CBFC body by screening the film with few media representatives. This is highly unacceptable,’ said the panel.
‘The screen was in no measure to disrespect the CBFC body. I did not find any other option expect screening to media representatives to prove that the film isn’t having any objectionable content as the protestors are claiming,’ replied Bhansali to the panel’s comment.
Soon he was cut short by the Panel. The Parliamentary Panel strongly refuted with Bhansali’s statement and said, ‘You tried to cash in with the emotional quotient over this issue. If the film is said to be fictional, what was the intention behind using real names for the fictional story?’.
‘Padmavathi’ was initially slated for release on December 1st, 2017, i.e., today. But the film has been postponed after the sensor board choose to not the certify the film on various grounds.

Over 1000 people have been evacuated from the low lying areas of Kanyakumari. The water also entered into the popular 17th-Century temple in Kanyakumari. Chennai is expected to receive intermittent rain today.

‘Adapt Motors’ created a new sensation in India after launching their electric autos. The company is located in Vanasthalipuram, Hyderabad in the state of Telangana. A consumer named, Rajasekhar from Gurramguda visited the RTO (Regional Transport Office) for the registration of his newly purchased ‘Electric Auto’ that was manufactured by the Adapt Company.
The company officials accompanied the consumer to the RTO office. Speaking to the media, the Adapt company officials stated that, ‘The electric auto is designed to travel for 200 kilometers with a single charge. It takes 5 hours to charge the battery completely. Only 5 units of electricity are required to charge the auto’s battery fully.’
‘It only costs the driver a maximum of 30 paise for one kilometre. This is highly beneficial for the auto drivers who are facing hard times with the rise in petrol prices and stiff competition from cabs. We launched the electric autos under the ‘E-Kart’ and ‘E-Rickshaw’ brands.
E-Kart model costs Rs. 1 Lakh 45 thousand. It has a lifespan of 5 years. More than 200 electric autos have been sold in the states of Andhra Pradesh, Telangana, Orissa, Bihar, and Karnataka,’ said Madhukar Reddy, representative of Adapt Motors.

The National Crime Records Bureau’s data showed that the state of Maharashtra is the most corrupted, while the National Capital Delhi is ‘most unsafe’. According to the data, 1,016 cases of corruption have been registered in Maharashtra for the year 2016, while Delhi accounted for more than 40% of rapes and 33% of crimes against women that took place in 19 Indian cities in the year 2016.
The only positive thing in the data published by NCRB is that the number of cases pertaining to corruption has come down in the past two years in Maharashtra. 1,316 and 1,279 cases of corruption were registered in 2014 and 2015 respectively in Maharashtra.
Following Delhi, Bangalore was placed second in the total number of crimes, while Mumbai with 39,617 cases against crime was in the third place. The data showed that the number of reported crimes dropped from 42,940 cases in 2015 to 39,617 cases in Mumbai.
Delhi also topped the list for attacks against the foreigners. Maharashtra came second in this list with 38 cases of ‘attacks against foreigners’.
In the list of most number of cases affecting the human body, Uttar Pradesh topped the list, with Madhya Pradesh and Maharashtra in 2nd and 3rd places.

Mega Hero Sai Dharam Tej has been patiently waiting for commercial success for a very long time. Similarly, BVS Ravi who had seen a flop with his first film ‘Wanted’ in 2011, took a long while before coming up with his 2nd directorial venture ‘Jawaan’. The film expectation rose after Dil Raju chose to present the film in the theatres. Let us see whether Jawaan gave the much-needed boost for the hero and the director.
Story:
The two main characters, Jai and Keshav represent the good and bad personalities of a human being. Every drop of blood in Jai reflects his patriotism, after being influenced by RSS policies and speeches. Meanwhile, Keshav is all about ‘steal to win’, who can commit crimes to fulfill his dream. Keshav ends up as a notorious criminal in a short span.
Jai’s ambition is to work for the DRDO. Meanwhile, the scientists at DRDO design world’s most advanced missile vehicle ‘Octopus’. Knowing this an international criminal network offers Rs 500 crores to Keshav in order to get the blueprint of ‘Octopus’ missile vehicle. But Jai comes in way of Keshav’s plans to steal the blueprint. The rest of the story is all about how Jai managed to save the family and how he transforms Keshav into a good human being.
Analysis:
Jawaan film reminds us many similar films from the past, based on a similar story. The first half seems to be routine and pale for most of the time. The film picks up the pace and grabs the attention of the audience with the episode of Jai saving the ‘Octopus’ from falling into the criminal’s hand. The film manages to grasp the audience by the time the second half starts.
The scene in which, the villain warns the hero’s family sitting in their house, and the scouting for the villain are absolutely fantastic. They will surely have a great impact on the audience. But the director failed to hold the suspense after these scenes end. The climax seems to be pretty flat after the hero nabs the villain. The villain’s characterization routine and boring throughout the film. Heroine Mehreen Pirzada is strictly restricted to songs, romantic track and glamour show.
There is absolutely no episode featuring ‘mind game’ between the hero and villain. The scenes in which hero saves his family, hero-villain telephonic conversation, patriotism and the ‘measuring scale of failure’ will surely impress the audience. Songs at unwanted intervals disturb the film’s pace. The film missed the ‘feel’ on a whole.
Putting aside everything, Sai Dharam Tej shows some improvement in acting. Prasanna who played the villain character excelled brilliantly. The family members of Jai did a decent job.

A major security breach that took place during Ivanka’s visit to Hyderabad came to light lately. The live feed of gala dinner at the iconic Falaknuma Palace went on air across various TV networks. The PMO (Prime Minister Office) alerted the Special Protection Group (SPG). As soon as the information reached the Telangana Police from the SPG, top police officials from Telangana Police Department, personal secretaries, and public relation officers called the TV Channels immediately and stopped the live feed.

After a preliminary investigation was carried out into the matter, the intelligence forces identified the source of the leak. The National Crime Records Bureau, for the first time, has created a separate head to maintain a record of cases in the country for Human Trafficking. The data indicates that out of most women struck in trafficking in the country are forced into prostitution.
There were about 8,057 cases registered on human trafficking with the police. Out of which, Telangana State and Andhra Pradesh have registered 229 and 239 cases respectively.
Andhra took third place in sexual exploitation of the trafficked women in the country with 736 women being rescued while Telangana stood sixth with 314 women.
Tamil Nadu has topped the list with 1,087 women, followed by Maharashtra with 1.020 cases. According to reports the women are lured on the pretext of providing good jobs in the city and were later forced into prostitution. Unfortunately, our pearl city, stood fourth with a total of 64 cases being registered in 2016 and 76 women being rescued. Cities like Bengaluru and Chennai topped with 205 and 115 cases followed by Nagpur with 125 cases.

Power Star Pawan Kalyan starrer ‘Agnathavasi’ has already created new records even before its release. The film has already done a pre-release business of 100-crores. They hype around the film is only getting bigger and bigger with every day. After the latest news that both the heroines are dubbing themselves for their characters broke out, the film has gathered much more attention in the film circles.
Gemini TV managed to clinch the Telugu satellite rights for the film for a record price. Gemini TV officials reportedly paid Rs. 19 Crores 50 Lakhs to acquire the satellite rights. The Director-General of Police for the state of Jammu & Kashmir, Shesh Paul Vaid has stated that over 200 terrorists have been killed in the counter-insurgency operations carried by the state police, Indian Army, and CRPF forces.
The comment comes in light after the Armed forces killed 5 terrorists in two separate encounters in Baramulla and Budgam districts.
‘This year marked the highest number of deaths of terrorists in the insurgency operations since the year 2010. This enabled us to establish peace and stability in the state of Jammu and Kashmir,’ said a police official.
As many as 270 terrorists have been killed in the joint strikes by the Armed Forces in J&K. But the number dropped to 100 by the year 2015.
There has been a steep increase in the number of civilians killings this year, despite the improved security measures in the highly sensitive areas of the valley. 54 civilian killings were recorded so far this year, while 14 killings were reported last year. While the number of security forces fatalities reduced to 77 this year from 88 fatalities last year.

The iconic ‘bluish’ colored One Rupee note has turned 100 years. It first came into existence on 30th November 1917. It is the only note currently in circulation that doesn’t feature the signature of the RBI Governor. It instead features Finance Secretary’s signature. The printing of the ‘One Rupee’ note has been stopped by the Indian Government in 1994. Post the public demand, the government resumed the printing of the note in 2015.
The ‘One Rupee’ not is most often seen during rituals and religious practices. Rs 11, Rs 51, Rs 101 are given as Dakshina(a token of payment).
The note has undergone 28 changes in the past 100 years. Initially, the one rupee was minted as ‘silver coin’. With silver becoming expensive during the World War I, many people used to melt silver coins and make bars. They later sold them for profit. Later the government started issuing Banknotes.
One needs to shell a sum of Rs 12,000 – Rs 13,000 purchase the ‘One Rupee’ issued in 1917. The 1917 One Rupee note can be found with collectors and dealers.
The value of ‘One Rupee’ depreciated by nearly 400 times in the past 100 years. One Rupee note used to fetch 10.7 grams of silver in 1917. 10 grams of silver currently costs Rs 390.
