The News 18 reporter misinterpreted Janasena Party Chief Pawan Kalyan’s opinion’.

In its affidavit, the Central Government filed an affidavit in the Supreme Court stating that ‘it wouldn’t damage the Rama Sethu, in the interest of the nation for the initiated Sethusamudram Project’.

Initially, even during the British rule, there were few proposal of cutting through Rama Sethu to facilitate Sethusamudram project. Moreover, even the Indian Govt. did consider paving a way through the Rama Sethu, or Adam’s bridge.

In its latest affidavit, the government made it clear that it is looking to explore other alternatives for the Sethusamudram Ship Channel project without damaging/affecting the Rama Sethu (or Adam’s Bridge). On behalf of the Government, Additional Solicitor General Pinky Anand appeared in the Supreme Court. The government’s affidavit came in response to the PIL (Public Interest Litigation) filed by BJP leader Subramanian Swamy.

In his PIL, Swamy stated that Ram Sethu is high importance on the basis of religious beliefs. According to Ramayana, Rama constructed the Rama Sethu. It helped his army to cross the sea.

The Rajender Pachauri Committee report was not in favor of building an alternative channel for the Sethusamudram project. ‘Other than cutting through Rama Sethu, nothing else is economically or ecologically feasible’, the report said.

Deeply irked by Pawan’s comments, the AP CM Chandrababu Naidu who heaped praises on Pawan in the past has fumed fire. Not just expressing his anguish on Pawan Kalyan, he alleged the young leader that he is acting in the direction of BJP Government. CBN in his press meet declared that Pawan Kalyan has been making allegations on his son Lokesh as per the orders of BJP. TDP leaders who took a queue from babu also alleged Pawan with the same reason. Some of the members of TDP feel that even the so-called rival party YSRCP never comments on Lokesh but Pawan did it with a hidden agenda. They state that Pawan has got some fake evidence from one of the bigwigs belong to the Central Government or otherwise there is no chance for him to allege CM’s son that easily. Also, the political analysts feel that Pawan never comments out of the blue unlike some politicians so there exists some crucial info with Pawan regarding Lokesh. All these comprise of a new conspiracy according to the AP TDP Camp.

But Pawan has been silently listening to all these comments and been busy with his Vijayawada tour. It is quite evident that Pawan is now not in good terms with TDP post-Janasena meeting. Some anti-fans of Pawan say he might move close quarters to Jagan but the Jansena supporters made it clear that he will never have an alliance with YSRCP, at least in the near future.

AP CM and TDP President Nara Chandrababu Naidu made it clear that TDP would move the no-confidence motion. The decision has been taken during an emergency meeting that took place today morning.

One TDP MLA stated that ‘our sensitive sources stated have confirmed that YSRCP is likely to compromise state interest during the no-confidence motion. That is the reason, our TDP President Nara Chandrababu Naidu garu took the decision to move the no-confidence motion in the Parliament.

Chiranjeevi has backstabbed the people of Andhra Pradesh by merging Praja Rajyam party with Congress. And now his brother, Pawan Kalyan is tarnishing the image of TDP party, by alleging that Lokesh is corrupt, and the corruption is spreading at a rampant rate. We are pretty much aware that, BJP is behind Pawan Kalyan’s and YS Jagan’s attack on TDP.

In the interest of the state, we decided to move the no-confidence motion by ourselves’.Chandrababu Naidu asked TDP MP Thota Narasimham to give the no-confidence motion notice to Lok Sabha Secretary-General. YSRCP Supremo YS Jagan tweeted a copy of the letter sent to Ms Snehalata Shrivastava, Secretary-General, Lok Sabha, by YSRCP MP YV Subba Reddy. In the letter, YV Subba Reddy requested the LS Secretary-General to include the no-confidence motion in the Revised list of Business for 16th March 2018, i.e., tomorrow.

Through the letter, the YSRCP MP gave a formal notice to move the no-confidence motion under Rule 198(b) of Chapter XVIII of the Rules of Procedure and Conduct of Business in Lok Sabha.

In his tweet, YS Jagan said that YSRCP is moving the No-Confidence Motion against the Centre Government. Close sources in the political circle confirmed that over 80 MPs have already extended their support to the No-Confidence motion to be moved by YSRCP.

With Pawan Kalyan withdrawing supporting to TDP (and CBN), and YSRCP to move the No-confidence motion, 2019 AP Assembly elections have become highly unpredictable than ever.
