Central Home Minister Rajnath Singh got into the action and is making every attempt to please AP CM Babu. Upon the presentation of 2018-2019 budget by Arun Jaitley, the AP’s TDP cadre fired over the Centre. Out of nowhere, a hostile environment between the Centre and State developed within the span of hours.

Speaking at the TDP Parliamentary Party meeting, CM Chandrababu Naidu devised a plan to attack the Centre. ‘Irrespective of political equations, all the parties in the state have decided to fight against the Centre. It is high time for us. We cannot show any patience and exuberance after seeing the 2018-2019 budget. We need to be at loggerheads with the Centre’, said CM Babu, according to an insider source.

Towards the end of the meeting, Chandrababu received an unexpected call from Home Minister Rajnath Singh, asking him not to take any stern decision. Surprisingly, Chandrababu who was all guns blazing at the Centre asked the TDP cadre to calm down for now.

Chandrababu is likely to take a decision on carrying out fierce protests against the Centre only after his meeting with the big heads. Nonetheless, Rajnath Singh has successfully managed to keep Chandrababu calm for now.

In the interesting political developments of Andhra Pradesh, a new news has hit the headlines making many political lovers go all shell shock. Let us look at this surprising piece of news.

As some MLA’s and MP’s are looking forward to joining YSRCP post the budget release, a YSRCP MLA of coastal Andhra is in talks to join TDP. He is none other than the Guntur East MLA Mustafa. This powerful Muslim leader has made his mark by defeating TDP candidate in 2014 elections. Since then, he is in good looks of the sitting MP of TDP Rayapati Sambasiva Rao. With their good relationships, they started meeting often and it leads to a new twist in Mustafa’s career. Rayapati has offered Mustafa to join TDP for political gain and the latter has reportedly shown some interest. The duo has decided to meet the TDP Chief Chandrababu Naidu soon to discuss this issue.

Finally, they met CBN who has been to Guntur lately to inaugurate a hotel construction. Sources close to Rayapati say that Mustafa appeared positive about joining TDP prior to the elections of 2019 if he gets a nominated post along with some benefits. Post the meeting, Mustafa interacted with the press and refuted the rumors of shifting his loyalties. He claimed that he will stick to YSRCP no matter what. He continued by saying that he met the CM only to discuss issues of his constituency. Mustafa lauded CBN for granting 2 crores in order to develop Guntur East which is his base camp.

Political analysts confirm that their meeting is purely personal and has nothing to do with the constituency. They back their statements by explaining that Mustafa would have asked funds directly by press meet or in Assembly. They also point out his need to meet CBN along with a TDP MP as well. One may not understand what actually is going on with the two major political parties in AP. People only expect some leader to address the state’s problems perfectly to the center. Stay prepared for more shaking pieces of news in the upcoming days.

The U-19 Indian Team won the 2018 U-19 World Cup by beating U-19 Australia by 8 wickets. The Indian U-19 team achieved the World Cup glory under their coach Rahul Dravid, who is often regarded as one of the best batsmen the game has ever seen.

The World Cup final became a one-sided game after Australia were collapsed for 216 in 47.2 overs. All the Indian bowlers shined and picked up wickets in tandem. The lack of intent from the Australian batsman led to their poor score.

Chasing a modest target of 217, the Indian openers gave a solid opening. After putting up an opening stance of 71, PP Shaw (29) was sent back to the pavilion, while Shubham Gill (31) got out, leaving India at 2/131. Since then, the centurion, Manjot Kalra (101*) and HM Desai (47*) took India to its 4th World Cup glory. India completed the target with a boundary, taking the scorecard to 220/2 in 38.5 overs.

As soon as the news broke out, wishes from the President, the PM and many others sports personalities and film celebrities poured in on social networking sites.

The BCCI announced Rs 30 Lakhs to every player and Rs 50 Lakhs to Rahul Dravid. Manoj Kalra won the Player of the Match award, while Shubham Gill won the Player of the Series award.

You read it right. We are not here to reveal about a scam under the NDA government or anything on those lines. We are talking about the traders and investors, who pump in crores of rupees every day into our financial system. After the Modi-Jaitley budget tumbled, the investors reportedly lost to a tune of Rs 4.6 Lakh crores in just two days. Just before the budget, the Bull was on a high and creating all-time records. It just took one announcement from Finance Minister Arun Jaitley to put a check to the ranging Bull’s run.

After Jaitley announced that long-term capital gains are taxable, there has been a sense of insecure feeling among the traditional investors. Similarly, after the revision of Fiscal Deficit from 3.2% to 3.5% of the GDP, a wave of uncertainty hinted towards the unstable economic system. Meanwhile, Jaitley justified the Fiscal Deficit revision by stating that, it would allow the government to spend more on various welfare schemes. These measures are definitely not what the markets were looking for.

Sensex touched the 36,400 mark on Jan 29 at 1330hrs. After the budget sessions began, it slipped to 36,180 points on Feb 1st 1400hrs. Soon, it nosedived below 36,000 the same evening. It closed at 35,018 today. This shows how badly the markets were affected by the Arun Jaitley’s budget.

YSRcp Congress Party MLA Joins TDP In Andhra Pradesh

Posted [relativedate] at [relativetime time_format=”H:i”]

The Union budget has not only hurt the people of Andhra but also showing a huge influence on the ongoing politics of Andhra Pradesh. Recent developments in A.P TDP reveal some shocking things. It is almost clear that the TDP Chief Chandrababu Naidu is likely to withdraw his bonding with the alliance. Also, his incapability of getting sufficient funds and promises also made people of Andhra to lose their faith in the state government. On the other hand, YSRCP is looking to be the only option for voters for a change. In this dire situation, some TDP MLA’s and MP’s are looking forward to changing their loyalties.

We have seen more than 20 MLA’s and 3 MP’s have defected to TDP from YSRCP post the elections of 2014. YSRCP Chief Jagan was seen shaking at that time. Now it seems TDP Supreme would face the same heat from the defected leaders. According to them, the party YSRCP might win the next elections and stick to that party would fetch them juicy posts. Also, the fact that Jagan trying for the alliance with BJP also plays a key role in the ongoing politics of A.P.

Political analysts say that there is no need to have a soft corner on CBN if the jumpings happen as he did the same in the past. As some quash this news of defecting as a rumor, the TDP MLA of Nellore, Vemireddy Venkatreddy recently joined YSRCP and sent some feelers to all. His jumping is a clear indication that the obtained info is completely true.If the center doesn’t approve delimitation of the constituency, then the jumpings will obviously be more. CBN is in a state of rethinking his tactics to keep his MLA’s and MP’s.

A.P Opposition’s silence on Union Budget

Posted [relativedate] at [relativetime time_format=”H:i”]

It’s been two days since the release of the Union Budget of 2018 and the people of A.P are still unable to digest it. More than the ruling party, the opposition is remaining silent only sending wrong feelers to the Telugu people.

The Chief Minister of A.P, Chandrababu Naidu expressed his disappointment already and so do his party MP’s and MLA’s. Being in alliance with the center, the TDP is at least raising its voice against the budget. But the opposition parties like YSRCP and budding party Janasena are not even caring this issue like it doesn’t even matter to them. Y.S Jagan being the Opposition leader has not addressed state’s problems regarding the Budget bill. Only a few of his party MLA’s sent some words just for the sake of their constituency people but in reality, YSRCP has quit questioning the center about this issue. This is a clear indication of Jagan’s master plan to get an alliance with BJP for the upcoming elections. He might have ordered his party leaders to remain silent such that BJP would be happy with it. This clearly shows Jagan is very much interested in Power, portfolios and designated posts rather than basic needs of the state. Despite remaining silent, Jagan is lobbying hard to meet Prime Minister Modi for personal and professional gains.

Also, the party Janasena is remaining silent. Its Chief Pawan Kalyan who claimed to be addressing problems of people is maintaining his mouth shut regarding the budget bill. Its high time for him to raise his voice against the center for the sake of Telugu people and his party. Otherwise, he will also be termed as a puppet of BJP and a seasoned politician. Hope some leader from the state of Andhra questions NDA regarding its promises to A.P and its capital or else the state will move five years back in development.

Just when it seemed the Australian openers were taking the game away from the Indians, IC Porel struck in the 6th over. With a couple of wickets after the first wicket, Australia was struggling at 59/3 in the 12 over.

It was then, Merlo (76) and Uppal (34) established a 75-run partnership for the 4th wicket. Post that, the Australian’s crumbled due to continuous dot balls, and ended up throwing their wickets. Australia final score was 216/10 in 47.2 overs. Except for Abhishek and Shivam Mavi, rest all bowlers took 2 wickets each. While Shivam Mavi took 1 wicket, Abhishek was wicket-less.  Shiva Singh was the pick of the bowlers with 2 for 36 in his 10 overs.

At the time of writing this article, India is 24/0 at the end of the 4th over. Manjot Kalra (9) and Prithvi Shaw (10) are in the crease. Due to rain, the play has been interrupted. The Local Time is 7 ½ ahead of the Indian Standard Time.

108 Feet NTR Statue On Neerukonda Hill In Guntur, Andhra Pradesh

NTR is a household name in each and every home in the Telugu states. The legendary actor, politician and the founder of TDP party, NTR has served the society both in arts and politics. He is famous for his charismatic screen presence, and resemblance of Lord Krishna, Lord Rama and other mythological figures on the silver screen. The legendary actor soon stepped into politics and fought for the pride of the Telugu people. During the Indira Gandhi era, NTR is the only politician in India who fiercely stood against her. The NTR mania was so enormous that, he came to power in the 1983 January elections. Surprisingly, he entered politics on 29th March 1982.

‘I want the people of my state to be free from the corrupt and inept rule of the Congress, which has been governing from 1956,’ said NTR, when questioned about his decision to enter the politics.

As a tribute to NTR, the TDP government came up with a proposal of constructing a 108 feet statue of NTR. Correspondingly, a construction consultancy came up with 4 designs and is waiting for Chief Minister Chandrababu’s nod.

The 108 feet status of NTR was initially proposed to be constructed at Krishna river banks, overlooking the Core Capital. But later the construction site was moved to Neerukonda Hill, in the Neerukonda village. It looks like there is an ulterior motive in shifting the construction site too. The Neerukonda Village saw the infamous Neerukonda Massacre that involved Khammas and Malas (Dalit caste). The likes of NTR and CM Chandrababu belong to the Khamma community only.

‘Anti-Babu’ Camp In BJP In An Upside Down Situation!

BJP became the most powerful party after the 2014 General elections. After winning a majority almost single-handedly, BJP turned the tables around. Modi soon became the face of India, both internationally and nationally. After the bifurcation of Andhra Pradesh, many politicians who flourished under the Congress Umbrella, thanks to the ant-Babu stance, became the victim of politically unemployed. With no option to jump into TDP, and not willing to join YSRCP, they opted for BJP.

The anti-Babu political leaders who are currently in BJP, made sure the bad rapport between center and state has been continuing. Correspondingly, they were almost successful in obstructing the prestigious Polavaram Project, the life of Andhra Pradesh, itself. With a clear mindset that, BJP wouldn’t have an alliance with TDP in 2019 AP Elections, the anti-Babu batch in BJP was celebrating their achievements of restricting Centre’s help to the state. In fact, their vengeance over Chandrababu is most important to them than the state’s development.

The budget announccement left these anti-BABU politicians in shock. Given the budget allocations to AP, one should have guts to even take the name of BJP in the state. The anti-Babu camp which thought, can win some seats in AP by blaming poor governance under CBN and TDP, are now left in shock with the latest developments. Though they have a smile on their faces, the land beneath them is surely shaking!

The people of Andhra has pinned in a lot of hopes in the Union Budget which was disclosed by the Finance Minister Arun Jaitley yesterday.

It was clearly a huge let down for the people of Andhra and especially for the state which is a newborn. The TDP and its alliance party BJP has promised the state many things regarding the welfare and development. But if we look into the details deeply for the past few years, the words have spoken much more than the actions. Though the current budget has given its importance to the rural economy and agriculture, they have completely neglected the major issues of the state.

There is no word in the budget regarding the national project polavaram. And even the prime issues like Visakhapatnam Railway zone and funding of the state capital project Amravati has been ignored. Though the chief minister of the state Chandrababu Naidu has expressed his disappointment regarding the budget, it doesn’t do any good to the welfare of the people or the state.

What really matters now is the stand taken by the TDP supremo Chandrababu Naidu. Will he continue to be in friendly alliance with BJP even after letting down the state many times? Is the government in A.P more concerned about the people of the state or its alliance with BJP? It’s time for the government to let the people know about its course of action without dragging much time on cabinet meetings and all.

Keeping the ruling party aside for a moment, what is the opposition party doing when the state is in such a miserable situation? Its thirst for getting into power seems to be more important than the welfare of the people and state. Instead of making allegations on the ruling party and its chief all the time, why don’t the opposition party focus on the prime issues of the state and come up with a solution? From the time of bifurcation and the TDP getting into power, we have never seen both the ruling and opposition parties working together under one roof for the welfare of the people and the state. If such things happen, the sunrise state wouldn’t be in such a situation today.

The newly formed party Janasena which is also a part of the TDP-BJP alliance should also take the responsibility regarding this. We all know how much the PK factor has worked in the last elections. It’s Pawan’s responsibility to stand for the people now and fight for the rights of the state. Each political party in the state is going in each different way. Might be the thirst of getting into power for one party or sustaining their chair for another term to another party, it seems like no political party is seriously looking into the prime issues of the state rather than their personal benefits.

Politics is meant to serve the people. If all the political parties in A.P come together under one roof and fight for the rights or the benefits the state deserve, we would definitely achieve what we want.

The TDP Chief Chandrababu Naidu has fallen in a groove after the release of Union Budget 2018. He is standing on the thin line in between BJP and his TDP Cadre. His present situation is as follows:

Earlier, CBN has expected something from the Union Budget for the state of Andhra Pradesh. As the centre disappointed him and his state, he has decided to withdraw from the alliance. Here came the biggest issue. Some of his party’s MLAs are threatening Babu that they are willing to jump into YSRCP as it will form an alliance with BJP if he comes out of it. While some of them are forcing Babu to work against BJP as they are confident about winning 2019’s elections without BJP’s support. CBN is now in two mindsets.

One is he wants to fight alone against BJP, YSRCP and maybe Janasena and the other is continuing the alliance. He is also in a fear of losing power in the state and grip on the centre if he cuts his bond with BJP. A brief survey of AP voters revealed that the state is furious on BJP and it will affect TDP as well if it continues its alliance. The AP CM, however, is keen on holding party meetings with MPs and MLAs separately about this issue. More MPs are in favour of cutting bond with BJP and more MLAs are keen on continuing with the NDA. For now, Babu should face this heat until 15th of this month as he is expected to declare his final decision on the alliance.

Meanwhile, the NGOs along with some MPs and MLAs have started protesting against Modi’s government. In this situation, only Janasena’s support would help CBN to fight with BJP in case if he chooses to come out.

He, however, stated that Chief Minister Chandrasekhar Rao along with his Minister son KTR, MP daughter K.Kavitha and nephew should take political renunciation if Telangana Rashtra Samithi loses the elections.

Addressing the reporters, he told that he is unconditionally accepting the challenge thrown at him by KTR. He also added, that KTR’s challenge only reflected his arrogance and his power of arrogance has turned the TRS leaders blind to the extent that they are not willing to see the sufferings of common man.

Uttam Kumar Reddy said, except the four members of the KCR’s family, not a single section of the society has benefitted from the TRS rule in the last four years.

He was assertive when he said that Congress would win more than 70 seats in the next elections, irrespective of when they are held.

The election fever has already started in the Telugu states. With the 2019 Assembly elections looming, both the ruling parties, TDP in AP and TRS in TS, are busy with their strategies. Chandrababu is already busy with this ‘Akarsh’ program to pull in prominent leaders from other parties into TDP. Meanwhile, the scenario is far different in Telangana. Though one cannot deny the fact that, parties do try to lure other party leaders into their party, TRS has been largely quiet in this aspect. Or at least not as much as TDP and Chandrababu Babu.

Given the recent developments at the Centre, TRS will benefit from Assembly seats increase. The current number of seats in Telangana Assembly is 119. This number is likely to increase to 152. TRS will be benefitting largely from the assembly seat increase, than any other party. Currently, TRS is projected to win 105/119 seats. With the revised assembly seat increase, TRS can bag 135/152 seats.

The upcoming 2019 Assembly Elections in Telangana will not only be a litmus test to the ruling TRS party but also threaten the existence of Congress and TDP in Telangana. With Revanth Reddy stepping in, the Congress has been on high. If Congress doesn’t get a fair share of seats, most likely, it can be wiped out.

Union Budget 2018 A Huge disappointment for the Telugu people

Posted [relativedate] at [relativetime time_format=”H:i”]

Its 1st of February and the most awaited Union Budget of the year 2018 has been released by the Union Finance Minister Arun Jaitley. More than any state, the two Telugu states of Andhra Pradesh and Telangana pinned many hopes on this budget for their development. Let us see what is in store for Andhra Pradesh and Telangana.

Post the bifurcation, Andhra Pradesh state which became a state without a permanent capital nearly waited more than four years for central aid. They expected Special Category Status, financial aid to the new capital in construction Amaravati, more funds to the National project of Polavaram etc. also the most wanted Vishaka Separate Railway Zone was also in the wishlist of Andraites. From the Telangana, people expected financial aid to some irrigation projects like Kaleswaram etc apart from promised special funds for the newest state. Guess what, the central government and Arun Jaitley showed an empty hand to the two states and left the entire Telugu community in vain. Despite providing helping hand, Union Government showcased its love of the states ruled by their party. Already some regional parties are preparing themselves for protests on center.

Coming to the small contributions made by the Modi camp, the Budget has little fundings to the Central University, Petroleum University, NITs and IITs which are going to be set up in AP in Telangana. Also, the government promised to develop some railway stations which has foot count more than 25000 with lifts and escalators.

Pawan in competition with Jagan to meet PM

The two party chiefs Pawan Kalyan and Jagan are indirectly crossing swords with each other for the upcoming general elections. A brief look at these two leaders future course of action explains it all.

Both Pawan Kalyan and Jagan are trying their best to conquer the power of A.P state. As a result, they are almost working on the same route to winning the trust of the people. Y.S Jagan has started his Padha Yatra many months ago across the state and Pawan too started his Chalore Yatra recently to interact directly with the people. Another appealing same thing is their meeting with the Indian Prime Minister Modi. We have heard Pawan claiming many times that he will meet PM and submit his detailed report of the state’s present situation. Within no time, Y.S Jagan has also started his trails to meet Modi for discussing possible alliance and personal favors. Now the million dollar question is who will get a chance to meet Modi first. For some political lovers who find this question amusing, here is the answer. The leader who meets first will have brighter chances of having an alliance with the center. Having an alliance with the center will benefit both the party and the leaders.

Pawan who claims that his target is not power might get the benefit of expanding his party. On the other note, if Jagan gets a chance for alliance then he might ask Modi to wave of all the cases on him. Also if his YSRCP loses in the 2019 elections, his party might have some grip on the center.
