Congress and TRS show a sudden interest in Chowdarys!
The political ground in Telangana has completely changed in the last one month. After Revanth Reddy and 18 other TPD leaders joining Congress in the presence of Rahul Gandhi, Indian National Congress Vice President in New Delhi, it is almost official that TDP has met its end in Telangana. It has to be noted that TDP has been well known for the ‘Chowdary (Kamma) caste’ being a prominent one. Its founder NTR is also a Chowdary.

With TDP’s end in Telangana, Chowdarys are looking for ways to exist politically. In the combined Andhra Pradesh states, Chowdarys did flourish both politically and economically. Many IT companies were set up by Chowdarys in Hyderabad. Post the partition, many Chowdarys felt insecure, as most of the TRS leaders belonged to Velama caste. But TRS ensured that Chowdarys are treated well, and also made Thummala a state cabinet minister belonging to Chowdary caste. KCR knew that Chowdarys would make an impact on close to 40 seats in Telangana, with 15 to 20 seats alone in Hyderabad.
Meanwhile, Congress also jumped into the party by welcoming Revanth Reddy into their party. Even though Congress did learn the less late, it acted quickly by making the moves. One has to wait and see, how beneficial would this scenario be to the Chowdarys in the state of Telangana.

Modi, the ‘Magician’ had the charm and charisma to woo huge crowds. But lights started to get dimmer on Modi’s face and in the BJP’s camp in recent times, while every whisker on RG’s face is lit. This INC leader may not end the ‘Family Tree’ scheme but instilled the hope that ‘noble transformation’ is respected in the nation. Recent trends in Twitter and other social networking sites affirmed the fact that Modi now leads Rahul Gandhi, for the ‘most mocked/trolled’ politician award.
Union Cabinet Minister for Food and Processing and MP, Harsimrat Kaur Badal said, ‘We live in a culturally diverse nation. And it’s really astonishing to find ‘Kichidi’ being a very important dish every culture across the breadth and width of the nation. Hence, we have decided to make Kichidi as an international brand.’

The officials identified Mallavaram, Kandalagadi, Gadaparaadi and surrounding villages which have been cultivating Ganjai, and carried out attacks in the morning hours.
The news is that former Congress MP, Ramya has been handed over the task of maintaining the Congress Party’s Social Media. And interestingly, Ramya replaced Bhupinder Singh Hooda (Haryana former CM’s son) and MP Dipendhar Singh Hooda. After being handed over the responsibility, Ramya has called out all the employees working there and sorted out their issues right-and-then itself.
She has also increased the staff from 20 to 100 and ensured that 85% of the staff would be women. After Ramya has taken responsibility 6 months ago, there has been a positive trend in Congress Party’s online feed. Instead of attacking Modi directly, Ramya’s team worked towards to find hardships faced by common people because of Modi’s schemes.
It’s once again clear that Prakash Raj doesn’t take backfoot when it comes to speaking what he feels. ‘I admire them as great actors. But politics is a different ball game. It’s not charisma that works in politics. The understanding of the current situation, difficulties, and hardships of the people is important. And I would vote for someone who I feel can solve these problems.’
He further adds, ‘Stars shouldn’t consider themselves as born leaders. They can’t lead in politics that way. It’s the people’s mandate that is going to make them as leaders. It is very important to stay close to the common man to better understand his life and his sufferings. This is my personal view and I hold on to it.’
With the current situation in Tamil politics, it’s hard to take sides on who would be forming the government post the next elections.
Going by the reports, knowing that Rahul Gandhi would be visiting Telangana in few more days owing to a meeting, and the high command thought to carry our ‘inclusion of Revanth Reddy’ in the presence of Rahul in Telangana itself, as a low key event. Few Telangana Congress leaders who are already jealous about the prominence of Revanth Reddy are known to be behind this episode.
When few sections of the leaders pressuring the high command over the prominence Revanth Reddy is being given in the Congress, Revanth Reddy did outwit them with his number 9 sentiment. To ensure that he gets enough prominence and attention, he planned in a way that, along with him 18 others would join the Congress party in presence of the high command in Delhi itself. This event did become create a buzz both at the center and the state.
Along with Revanth Reddy, leaders like Vem Narendra Reddy, Seethakka, Vijay Ramana Rao, Arikela Narsareddy, Boda Janardhan, Soyam Bapu Rao, Ramesh Reddy, Dhommati Sambhayya, Thotakoora Jaanayya, Kavvampalli Sathyanarayana, Medipalli Sathyam, Haripriya Nayak, Balya Nayak, Raja Ram Yadav and three more leaders representing Osmania Jak leaders have joined Congress in presence of Rahul Gandhi.
‘You shall know the depth of the pond, only when you get into it,’ aptly suits Congress. On the outset, Congress with its national presence might seem as a large estate for Revanth Reddy to explore and establish. But with the vastness are also present threats and dangers from established political leaders throughout the nation.
