Minister for Road Transport and Highway of India, Nitin Gadkari has laid the foundation stone for key infrastructure projects in Hyderabad. From the last few months, the Telangana Sarkar has been taking various measures to reduce the traffic woes in the city. The recent construction of underpasses across the city is one such measure.

The Cabinet minister laid the foundation stone for the flyover construction in Amberpet and Uppal Flyovers, along with Aramghar – Medak road extension works, and skyway works in the city.

At an estimated cost of Rs 426. 52 crores, 62.92 Km of double-lane national highway in Medak district from the ORR, and 10.48 Km of 6-lane highway along the Hyderabad – Bangalore NH in the Aramghar – Shamshabad sector will be constructed.

Similarly, 6.25 km of elevated 6-lane expressway corridor will be constructed from Sri Ramana Theatre in Amberpet to Chey Number Junction, and Uppal Junction to CPRI (along with the Warangal Highway).

Officials expect that these measures will greatly reduce the traffic owes in the respective regions. In the coming few months, the Telangana Sarkar is planning for some more road extension and Elevated Expressway Corridor construction.

The ward boy, private ambulance driver, and a home guard belonging to the Afzal Ganz police outpost have gang-raped her by taking her to an isolated place in the first floor of the Hospital building. With the help of a lawyer, (she works in the lawyer’s home as a maid) the woman has lodged a complaint against the ward boy.

The Railway Ministry is gearing for some key changes regarding the safety and security of the female passengers traveling in trains. Sources close to the Railway Ministry have confirmed that the Ladies Compartment will henceforth be included in the middle of the other compartments, rather than at the end.

At the same time, to make sure that female passengers identify their ‘exclusive compartment’, the Ladies Compartment will be painted in a unique color, different from other compartments. Along with the above-mentioned measures, the officials have taken a decision to install CCTV Cameras, and Window-meshes to the Ladies Compartments hereafter.

The Railway Ministry has set up a special committee for the safety of the women. The respective committee suggested that, with the Ladies Compartment being at the end, many women are showing reluctance to board into the Ladies Compartment, owing to security reasons.

‘We have sent the proposals to the railway board. After a review by the Chief Committee, these measures will be implemented in phases. Maybe within the next 15-18 months, Ladies Compartments will be modified in almost 85% of the trains’, said a senior railway official.

Be it the upcoming elections, or whatever, the youth of Andhra Pradesh will soon hear a good news from the Government. Official sources have confirmed that recruitment announcement for 18,000 police posts will be out next week.

In this context, 15,000 posts are lying vacant in the police department, and 3,000 posts in the Jails, SPF, Fire Department, and RTC. The government has brought some key changes in the recruitment process. After the State of Telangana has been formed, the (residual) AP Government has removed the mandatory 5 km run. Not only this, the cut off age has also been increased by 3 years.

According to the latest guidelines, candidates who are between 25 years to 28 years can apply for Police Constable Post, and who are below 28 can apply for SI posts. For SC & ST candidates, the age limit is fixed at 30 years, and 33 years respectively. What’s more interesting is that few bosses from the police department advised the government not to increase the age limit by more than 3 years, given the physical aspect of an individual.

Dachepalli Rape Accused Subbaiah Commits Suicide

The Dachepalli incident, where a 9-year-old girl was raped by an auto-rickshaw driver; 50-year-old Subbaiah, has taken a completely different turn after he committed suicide. Subbaiah hung himself to a tree outside the village premises. The post-mortem for his dead body has been completed in Gurajala Government Hospital.  

After the relatives were informed by the police and hospital staff to come and take the body, they have refused. It is understood that the body will most likely be handed over to the Village Panchayat.

Before committing suicide, Subbaiah actually made a call to his family members and expressed remorse over the crime he has committed. On the call, he said that he has brought a bad name to his entire family, and his son especially.

Realizing his mistake, and not able to face anyone, Subbaiah told that he would commit suicide, and thus committed suicide. Police found his dead body hanging to a tree after they traced him using his cell phone signals.

27 Burnt Alive As Fire Breaks Out In Bus After Accident

In a shocking incident that took place in Mothihari region in Bihar, more than 27 passengers traveling in a bus were burnt alive in an accident. The accident took place today afternoon.

The bus lost control and toppled on the road. As soon as it toppled, it caught fire, and within the span of minutes the fire completely engulfed the entire bus. Though the locals tried to do their best, they failed due to the extreme heat, and violent flares. Emergency services along with Fire Engines, police department and medical teams have reached the location immediately upon receiving the information.

Most of the individuals who survived the fire have faced severe burns and were admitted to the local hospital. While others were transferred to other hospitals after giving them the first aid. The reason for the bus to catch fire is yet to be known.

The police department has already started the investigation. Bihar political leaders have expressed their grief, and extended their condolences towards the families of the deceased, and injured. The Bihar State Government is yet to announce ex gratia.

It is a known thing that Congress Party which is the Opposition of Telangana is a rival party to the TRS. The TDP head Chandrababu Naidu who has been busy projecting himself as a hater of Indian PM Modi has got a huge jolt from the Opposition leader. In a position of perplexion, he is going restless to think about a perfect counter.Y.S Jagan, in his Praja Sankalpa Padha Yatra, dropped a huge bomb on the Yellow fortress by declaring that he will rename Krishna District as NTR District. Not knowing what to do, the TDP leaders are scratching their heads for not getting such ideas were coming from the party established by NTR himself.

Their head, Chandrababu Naidu who came to know about this promise was speculated to be fumed fire on his rival for his clever tactics. Unable to counter Jagan with words or promises, CBN is said to be cursing the Opposition leader without a halt. He immediately had a short meeting with his core team leaders and ordered them to come with a retorting counter to Jagan. In their Visakhapatnam meeting, TDP is expected to give a huge counter to Jagan to fetch back the limelight.

Political analysts ridicule Babu for thinking about counters than going forward and develop the state. According to them, better strategist always wins and the same happened with Jagan in Krishna District. CBN has completely failed to bring the Special Status to AP and now he cannot withstand the embarrassment of Jagan’s promise. It is time for CBN to stop attacking Jagan and start concentrating on developing AP and its new capital Amaravati in order to gain the trust of AP Voters.
