The recent fixtures in politics have completely changed the political equations in Telangana. Form what seemed to be a one-man in the 2019 elections, it’s looking like there would be a tough fight. Until one month back, everyone was under an impression that, TRS win in 2019 elections is just a mere formality. But with things changing quick and fast, it looks like Telangana Congress is heading for a battle with TRS in 2019.

Meanwhile, the Komati Reddy brothers who have been the talk of the town from the last couple of months are nowhere to be seen. The Komati Reddy brothers even lobbied in Delhi to remove Uttam Kumar Reddy as Telangana Congress Chief. But the brothers have miserably failed.

Their planned ‘Paadhayathra’ mission did not get a positive response from the high command and as well as the Telangana Congress leaders. And Uttam Kumar Reddy suddenly seems to be the strongest leader in Telangana Congress with the new in-comer Revanth Reddy in the party, and Senior Leader Janareddy restricting himself as ‘Advani’ in the party.

Many analysts feel that the silence of the Komati Reddy brother is like a warning before a cyclone, and one shouldn’t underestimate the Reddy brothers’ abilities.

As a part of ‘Operation Clean Money,’ the IT department raided the offices in Jaya TV in Chennai. The raid began in the early hours at 6:30 am in the morning and got carried in 187 locations as well.

The IT raids have reached the TTV Dinakaran’s house, as well as AIADMK Karnataka in charge, Pugazhendi, in his Domlur residence.

Raids are being conducted at various groups that included Jaya TV, some raids are taking place even in Andhra Pradesh and Delhi.

According to PTI, the searches are taking place followed by allegations on shell companies, dubious investments, fudging of accounts by Jaya TV, Fund flow which is started by former Tamil Nadu Chief Minister Jayalalithaa and currently controlled by Shashikala’s family.

There are allegations on these companies of evading taxes and further probe is going on whether there is any money laundering going on and any possible links to shell companies.

In all, 187 companies have come under IT scrutiny and Vivek the director of Jaya TV is also being raided.

The air quality of Delhi is described as a “gas chamber” by Deputy Chief Minister Manish Sisodia. Even on Tuesday, Belgium’s King Philippe was given a ceremonial reception at Rashtrapati Bhavan in between the thick smog giving blurry images making it a bad site.

Today, as well the hazy photos of Prince of Whales and Duchess of Cornwall annoyed the twitter so much that it poured with all kinds of jokes. Many joked and sympathized for the royal couple, but most of the tweets are sarcastic on the horrible weather conditions prevailing in Capital city Delhi.

While doctors have declared the situation in Delhi as a public health emergency. Due to this crisis, Delhi government declared schools to remain closed till Sunday. Even city’s annual half marathon was canceled to protect the participant’s health.

The insurance regulator, IRDAI, asked the insurers to comply with the statutory norms. It is now mandatory for all insurance policyholders to link it with their Aadhaar card under the prevention of Money Laundering second Amendment Rules, 2017, the insurance regulatory and development authority of India (IRDAI) said.

The government in the month of June had notified the Prevention of Money Laundering (Maintenance of Records) Second Amendment Rules, 2017 making the PAN/Form 60 and Aadhaar mandatory for availing financial services including insurance and also for linking the existing policies with the same.

The IRDAI said, the rules have the constitutional force and all the life and insurance companies have to implement them without much wait and instructions.

ICICI Lombard MD and CEO Bhargav Dasgupta said it was a progressive and logical step towards creating a joint platform for all financial services and at the same time promote government’s digitization program.

Overall, 24 life insurance companies and 33 general insurers are operating in the country. The companies may have to face some short-term hurdles, but a significant long-term benefit in terms of preventing frauds and streamlining the KYC (know your customer) process is expected.

In recent times, we never came across with such a sensational murder case. On Wednesday, when CBI identified a 16-year-old class 11 student of the same school – The Ryan campus in Gurgaon’s Bhondsi, as the prime suspect.

Earlier, the school bus conductor Ashok Kumar was arrested by Gurgaon police for the murder of a 7-year-old student, Pradhyumn Thakur, of Ryan International School that hit the headlines, but the parents of the child didn’t think the police caught the right man.

The case went to CBI, who revealed, the 16-year-old of the same school as the prime suspect. What is the motive? According to the CBI investigating officer, the boy “planned the murder to avoid an exam that day and also wanted to postpone a parent-teacher meeting and was discovering ways of doing it”. In the process, “he felt that something big would force the authorities to shut the school”.

While the bus conductor was given a clean chit by the CBI, as they found nothing against him as claimed by Gurgaon police.

Pradhyumn, a class 2 student, was found dead, with his throat slit just outside the ground floor washroom of the school on September 8 morning. His father like normal dropped Pradhyumn and his sister Vidhi, who is a fifth-grade student in the same campus.

The CBI officer said the class 11 student “lured Pradhyumn inside the washroom on the pretext of discussing something important, and within seconds, slit his throat”. The teenager knew that somebody was going to die on that day, as he came planned by bringing a knife along with him to the school, it was just unfortunate for Pradhyumn to be at the wrong place at the wrong time” concludes the CBI officer.

The motivation and events involved in committing a crime should be taken into consideration rather than the age of the criminal while giving the judgment.

He is the one who suggested various measures and steps that could be taken to get rid of a headache called black money and fake currency.

While the FM, PM, RBI Governor and financial advisor were on serious discussions regarding this problem, this man Anil Bokil got 9 minutes from the Prime Minister to make a presentation.

Here is what he said:

Ban notes of 1000, 500 and even 100. All transactions should take place through banks with the help of demand drafts, cheques, and online single banking for revenue collection.

He also advised on export-import duty, by asking them to stop the collection of money under 56 different taxes.

He also justified his advice to the government by saying that 78% population spends only Rs.20 per day. Thus, they do not need big notes. He also said, that in India an average transaction of Rs. 2.7 lakh crore is seen daily which accounts for Rs. 800 crores per year. But in this also, only 20% transactions take place through banks and rest all go through cash which cannot even be located.

The Prime Minister was so impressed that the note ban came to life immediately.

The US is facing terrorism one after another

One person was shot when a gunman opened fire near the University of South Carolina on Tuesday. Immediately after Gunshots were heard, the University of South Carolina Upstate in Spartanburgissued warnings on Twitter with four buildings on campus were lockdown. They later lifted the lockdown.

According to the county sheriff’s Lt. Kevin Bobo of Spartanburg, the shooting took place at an apartment complex which is close to the school campus which injured one person.

Meanwhile, no arrests made yet, but police suspect, the gunman was wearing khaki pants, grey hoodies, and is carrying an automatic gun and is a black male.

The shooting brings a fierce debate on Congress about the issue of gun control. Recent incidents in the US has increased, off late and government and police are on high alert. In spite of precautions being taken, it makes pretty common for people to face terrorism, every single day.

In today’s incident, not any causalities, but the school has an undergraduate student base of about 5600 students and is affiliated with the University of South Carolina in Columbia.

We just have to wait and see what security measurements Trump’s government is going to take to stop attacks from further happening.

Bomb Threat on GoAir Aircraft!

GoAir Flight G8-127 was landed at the Netaji Subash Chandra Bose International Airport under emergency circumstances. ‘The flight G8-127 flying inbound to Kolkata from IGI, New Delhi has landed at the Kolkata Airport at 9:30 pm after the pilot of the aircraft informed the Air Traffic Control of a bomb threat in the aircraft,’ said an airport official.

The Air Traffic Control arranged for an emergency landing of the aircraft on the runway. The aircraft reportedly touched down at 9:30pmand was taxied to an isolated area. All the passengers were immediately evacuated and were declared safe.

The flight was thoroughly checked by the bomb squad for any potential explosive devices. It took over an hour for the complete check of the aircraft.

Post the examination by the bomb squad, the bomb threat assessment committee of the Kolkata Airport has confirmed the threat as ‘hoax’. The flight’s pilot has been taken into custody by the airport authorities for further inquiry into the incident.

A string of similar bomb threats has been haunting the Aviation Industry in India from the past couple of years. In 2016 Air India has repeatedly received ‘bomb threats’ on various occasion. With ever-increasing global terrorism, it looks like the skies no more safe to travel.

After an alarming rise in the pollution levels in the National Capital, New Delhi many primary schools were shut down following an emergency order from the Delhi government. With the temperatures falling low, coupled with high relative humidity and low speeds, the average Air Quality Index –AQI in Delhi went up to 448, which is worse than that recorded post-Diwali night at 403. The Central Pollution Control Board (CBPC) has warned the Kejriwal’s government that, the situation would only get murkier in the next 2 to 3 days.

With dropping visibility, many flights have either been canceled or re-routed at the Indira Gandhi International Airport. Many trains and other public commuting transportation systems were affected due the poor visibility and AQI.

The EPCA, a Supreme-court appointed panel with sweeping powers asked the Delhi Government to increase the parking fee of vehicles four-folds, while suggested the Metro corporation to reduce the metro fares during the peak hours. It has also suggested Kejriwal’s government to implement the ‘odd and even’ rotation policy if the AQI touches 500 for 2 days. The Delhi CM, Kejriwal termed the city as ‘Gas Chamber’.

The CBPC termed the haze as fog, while the Indian Medical Association – IMA called that the particulate matter in the air is at ‘hazardous’ levels and has issued a stern warning for everyone not to step out of homes.

All About IRCTC Tatkal Train Booking!

The online ticketing support by Indian Railways, IRCTC, has been introducing new payment facilities, for booking tickets under both general quota and Tatkal.

The tatkal facility was introduced in the year 1997, for all passengers who need to travel with a short notice. Before checking for booking under Tatkal quota, one should first check the general quota availability, as per IRCTC. Once the Tatkal facility opens seats vanish in seconds at the blink of your eye. On an average today IRCTC, processes about 1, 30,000 Tatkal transactions every day. IRCTC introduced new payments features for booking tickets under both Tatkal and general quota. One should not forget that there will be no concession provided for Tatkal quota.

Tatkal timings

Booking for Tatkal tickets opens one day before the journey. For AC bookings it opens at 10 am and for Non AC classes at 11 am.

Tatkal Reservation chargesare fixed as a percentage of fare at the rate of 10% of basic fare for second class and 30% of basic fare for all the other classes.

No refund is granted on cancellation of confirmed Tatkal tickets.

Tatkal ticket cancellation for thewaiting list, RAC tickets- Reservation against cancellation or waitlisted tickets book under Tatkal quota, arefund is given if theticket is cancelled up to 30 minutes before the scheduled departure. While, a ticket gets confirmed to a RAC, or waiting list ticket holder at any point in time up to the final preparation of charts, such ticket is taken as aconfirmed ticket.

The train is running behind schedule by more than three hours or if the train gets cancelled due to any reason, we are having anoption called filing ticket deposit receipt (TDR) with reasons for claiming arefund.

How to book Tatkal Train Tickets via New IRCTC facility?

IRCTC has already introduced new features for payment of E-tickets that include, Tatkal tickets. One such feature is ‘Paylater’, this option facilitates the passenger to buy the ticket first and pay the money later. This Paylater option is available in payment options which you can see the link through email or SMS when you are making your booking. You may have to register if you are availing E-pay lateroption.

You will get up to 14 days to make the payments. But it will charge you 3.50 percent as charges, plus any applicable taxes. Basically, the epaylater pays for you whenever you book a ticket.

Other Things to know about Railway Ticket Booking

In the cases of Family E-ticket, issued to travel for more than one passenger, like for families, some passengers have confirmed reservation while few others may be in RAC or waiting list, full refund of far, shall be admissible for confirmed passengers also subject to the condition that the ticket shall be cancelled online for all the passengers up to 30 minutes before the departure time of the train, says IRCTC website.

Balakrishna will not act in other films!

Nandamuri Balakrishna may not be seen acting in films produced by other banners. He launched his own production company ‘BrahmaTeja’ signifying his daughters’ names. Film production has been a long part of the Nandamuri Family from ages. With the star heroes more or less producing their own films, it looks like Balakrishna has also joined them.

NTR’s recent film was which was produced by his brother Nandamuri Kalyan Ram, rake up huge profits for the production house after it became a blockbuster at the box office.

It is reported that Balakrishna personally visited the film chamber and has registered his production company. Commemorating his father, Late NTR, Balakrishna is expected to produce ‘NTR’ in his own film banner and Teja as a director. He is also like to produce his son, Mokshagna first feature film. Post that, his yet-to-be-scheduled film with Boyapati Seenu will also be produced under his own banner.

Currently, Balakrishna is busy scouting office places for his own production company. It is more or less likely that the office would be close to his residence. His close associates suggested three to four buildings close to his residence for ‘BrahmaTeja’ productions.

BJP’s harsh stance on ‘AP Special Status’ and ‘Loan Waiver for Farmers’ clearly illustrates in what direction the BJP-TDP relationship is heading.

PM Modi’s recent visit to DMK’s former chief, Karunanidhi has raised some eyebrows in the Tamil Nadu state politics. After supporting Paneer Selvam and AIDMK during the political crisis, the recent visit by Modi has come under scrutiny as to whom BJP is supporting in the state politics.

BJP’s bad rapport with its allies is going to cost the party in 2019 Lok Sabha elections. In recent times, an anti-Modi wave is strongly felt across the nation.
