A special team lead by Kutumba Rao favors AP against the Centre

One of the few tactics trying by the Centre to trouble AP was busted. None other than the Vice Chairman of Planning Commision, Kutumba Rao provided stunning evidence in favor of Andhra Pradesh to make the Centre silent.

The Union Government has been troubling the Andhra Pradesh without fulfilling its promises regarding the AP Bifurcation Act. To irk more, it is not allocating further funds to the projects like Polavaram and despite helping, Centre is demanding AP to submit Utilisation Certificates over the revenues sent by the Centre to the State. According to the Centre, AP didn’t submit the UCs regarding the 6000 crores of rupees sent for the Polavaram and another 4000+ crores of rupees sent to cover the revenue deficit. A special team from the Planning Commission lead by the team of its Vice Chairman Kutumba Rao has submitted a detailed booklet of all the UCs sent by the AP to them. Rao stated that AP need not submit any UCs according to the bifurcation Act of 2014 and requested the Centre to fulfill all its promises and funds for developing the AP.

All this was raised by the TDP MP Ram Mohan Naidu as he has lodged a complaint to the Planning Commission against the Central Government regarding the promises made in Parliament. It is quite astonishing to believe that the Central Government’s institutions like Planning Commision are talking in favor of AP. AP Government has expressed its happiness for Kutumba Rao’s detailed survey. Hope this brings a chance in Centre’s approach on AP.

Post the bifurcation, the TRS Government initially fought against the AP regarding some issues like splitting of Government institutions, Secretariat etc. as the years passed by, the Telangana CM seemed to be having a soft corner on his brotherly state AP. Visiting places like Tirumala, Amaravati, Vijayawada etc, KCR declared that he is always ready to extend his helping hand for AP. For those who didn’t believe his words, TRS MPs in the happened Budget Sessions of the Parliament stood in support of Special Category Status to AP. None other than KCR in the State and his daughter Kavitha at the Centre voiced out their supports for AP.

Cut to the present, these leaders have now taken a U-turn in the Monsoon Sessions. Despite supporting the AP’s problems, their MPs tried their best to halt the speeches of AP MPs. Not stopping there, some stated their disagreement on giving SCS to AP. Controversial MP Vinod Kumar objected SCS stating the reason that if SCS is given to AP, many industries would shift to the Residual Telugu State from Telangana. The same song was sung by the Nalgonda MP G.Surender Reddy in the Rajya Sabha the other day. In the T-State, its Irrigation Minister T Harish Rao stated his stand against the SCS for AP a couple of days before.

These uncertain leaders again changed their mind overnight as they again support SCS to AP. Harish Rao in a matter of one night declared his support for AP. Rajya Sabha member Kesava Rao in the house demanded the Centre fulfill their promises to the AP immediately. Only God knows their original stand on this issue.

The former chief minister of united Andhra Pradesh N.Kiran Kumar Reddy has opined that only the Congress can do justice to sun rising state Andhra Pradesh.

In an interview with a tv channel a while back, Kiran Kumar Reddy has spoken his heart regarding the various issues of the state. He stated that the special category status of Andhra can only be achieved by the Congress party under the leadership of Rahul Gandhi. He said that being the small states both Andhra and Telangana are losing out and if the bifurcation would not have been done there would have been a lot of progress in the states.

Kiran also revealed that is why he had opposed the bifurcation of united Andhra Pradesh. He also added it is because of him the Polavaram project has got the national importance and it is also because of his efforts, A.P has got the assurance for Special Category Status.

Kiran also mentioned that both ruling parties of A.P and Telangana have failed in the governance of the states. He said that people will teach a good lesson in the coming elections. This former chief minister fumed on the Prime Minister Narendra Modi regarding the injustice done to A.P. He stated that as BJP has no stakes in Telugu speaking states especially Andhra, he is not focusing on the issues of the state.

Kiran also revealed that he has been in touch with some key leaders of Rayalaseema and he has been trying his best to bring back the neutral leaders to the party.

PTI Chief Imran Khan’s cousin calls allegations of vote rigging as groundless

With Imran Khan, Former Cricketer and Present Chairman of the Pakistan Tehreek-i-Insaf (PTI) party, leading the polls in Pakistan; and all set to become the next Prime Minister, there have been allegations of vote-rigging rising in the country. The Oxford-educated cricketer led the Pakistan Cricket team in 1992 to bring the World Cup home after which he entered the world of politics in 1996.

A lot has been talked about vote rigging and manipulation in the Pakistan Elections, 2018. Adding to the talks and supporting his cousin Imran Khan, Hafeezullah Niazi tells at a national news channel that the allegations of vote rigging are baseless and it is simply an attempt to create distrust in the election.

Election Officials confirm that the delay in publishing of votes is due to some technical error in the electronic reporting system and therefore they are being counted manually.

Imran Khan had struggled for years in politics until now when it is going to be his day of celebration – when he will finally become the Prime Minister of Pakistan. His followers have already been celebrating his victory. His wife, Jemima Goldsmith, took to Twitter to congratulate her husband:

Pawan’s response on Jagan’s derogatory comments

The Janasena chief Pawan Kalyan has responded over the derogatory comments made by the opposition party chief Jagan Mohan Reddy just a while before.

Earlier, Jagan has targeted Pawan’s personal life stating that he changes wives as everyone changes cars and he also opined that its unfortunate for the people like him to even respond to his statements. The derogatory comments made by the chief of the opposition party has invited great criticism from every corner.

The comments made by Jagan has got a severe backlash from the political parties as well as the general public. Responding over the comments made by Jagan yesterday, Pawan Kalyan has released press note appealing all his fans and followers regarding this issue.

Pawan has stated that he came to politics only to do something good for the people and he doesn’t have any personal grudges or agendas on anyone regarding anything. He made it clear that he fights only in the matters related to public policies of the people and he differs from others only regarding that.

Pawan openly appealed to his fans and followers NOT TO TARGET JAGAN OR HIS FAMILY MEMBERS regarding this issue. He also made it clear NOT TO DIG ON ANYONE OF HIS FAMILY PERSONAL LIFE. Thus, he also requested everyone to stop the issue here and not to extend it further.

The leader should stand as an example for everyone. Any political party be it a TDP, YSRC, Congress, Janasena..etc should have a strict discipline regarding certain ways of addressing the issues. Any party depends on the leadership qualities of the leader. If the leaders also behave in such a derogatory way, what would be the case of their party members?

If we observe in detail, even the assembly sessions which have to be conducted for the welfare of the people has become the epicenter of foul words, sarcastic dances and derogatory comments. Is this the way the representatives of the people work for the welfare of the people in the state? This has to change. Everyone has to keep in mind that the people are watching especially the younger generation.

YSRCP MP Regrets His Behavior Against RS Speaker

The number two of YSRCP, Vijay Sai Reddy crossed some limits the other day in the Rajya Sabha. This MP, however, regrets and expresses his explanation to the press today.Going into the details, the YSRCP Spokesperson Vijaya Sai Reddy dwelled into the well yesterday when the Rajya Sabha is organizing a small debate on AP Reorganisation Act. As the given time has completed, the Rajya Sabha Speaker Venkaiah Naidu cut his mike and asked him to sit down. Irked Reddy went near the Speaker Podium and made some comments which are not audible to the mikes in the house. Even though the audio is not available, one can predict that the Vice-President was hurt with Reddy’s comments.

Later the same has been confirmed by the Minister of Parliament Affairs Vijay Goel.Today, Vijay Sai Reddy expressed his regret to the Chair and Speaker thereby claiming that he went emotional as the debate is for his State of AP. As the other leaders of the house are condemning this Act of Reddy, Speaker Naidu consoled all by stating that the matter is indeed over. Later the Chair said that even he was not feeling good to stop the speech of Vijay regarding the State of AP but he had to do his duty being the Speaker of the house. However, Naidu suggested Reddy that one should convey thy point just like the former Prime Minister Manmohan Singh the other day.
